We are an Italian Company and we make of the traditional and regional Italian cuisine one of our core values.
To do this, we looked at the world's largest cooking expert: grandmothers!
Because when it comes to food and choices at the dinner table, we preferred the classic recipes of a tradition rich in history and taste: those of grandmother.
The perfect menu? It Always includes lasagna, risotto, the Parmigiana and meat dishes, adapted in all regions, to represent the model of Grandma's kitchen.
Our mission is to make you feel right at home, to help you to revoke the memories and flavors of the time when you were a child.
We had a really lovely meal here, with very tasty food and wine. Definitely would recommend :)
Because of pandemic the restaurant
Nice food, good atmosphere, better than what it looks from outside. Dennis was great and attentive - thank you for lovely evening!
Server got my order incorrect on 2 occasions and the portion sizes were extremely small.
So amazing ! Food was out of this world.
Incredible experience, perfect for all the Italian people in London !
Amazing food, efficient staff and very friendly, also gave us free dessert for our anniversary. Would go again.
This restaurant is a perfect example of how an amazing and luxurious hall can be destroyed by cheap and tacky taste. The food was overcooked and below an average Italian restaurant. Definitely not value for money either, rather than for tourists who want to grab a quick bite in the Piccadilly area at a place that looks fancy
Very nice restaurant, beautiful decor, friendly waiting staff and tasty food
Nice interior but the food was average. Convenient location right next to the tube.
The restaurant didn’t seem to acknowledge that we’d booked. The service was intrusive but also very slow. The food was ok but nothing special.
Good food but incredibly slow service. Took an hour and several call to the waitresses just to order. Half an hour to get some Focaccia, another half an hour to get a shared plate of salami and then an hour to get the main courses.
I went there with a friend for her birthday and we had a wonderful time. The service was outstanding. They even sang happy birthday to her with a sparkler in her desert without me having to request this. It was a really lovely restaurant, great ambience, great décor.
We thoroughly recommend it.
Very bad food, and very bad service **
Ottima posizione, personale (Italiano) molto disponibile, gentile e carino.
Ci siamo trovati bene ed abbiamo mangiato bene, quindi tutto ok.
Consigliatissimo!
Prezzo “Londinese” (circa 100 Pounds in 3)
We were made very welcome with a choice of table and served within 10 mins. Will go again
Unfortunately, the food came out tepid and oily. But the staff and manager were excellent in dealing with it. Gave us new dishes, which was tasty. Plus a nice surprise birthday cake.
Beautiful room (the former Criterion), but food was poor and massively overpriced. Waiters struggled to understand us. For tourists only.
The service is rather slow. We booked a set menu for pre theatre dinner and we had limited time. 15 minutes nobody even came to take our order, so at the end we were late and hat to leave our desserts half eaten. The food was OK.
The service was a disaster, they first questioned my reservation that I made 1 hour ago.”you have a reservation but you made It an hour ago”....
Well yea what’s the problem that’s what reservations are for.
Had to ask for water 4 times. Food took 1 hour (just a pizza and a pasta). And then had to ask for water 4times.
Very bad experience, overrated restaurant
DONT GO THERe!
The staff are so welcoming. Made my 14 year old feel special. My waitress Alexandra was fabulous.
Already booked my mum in for her friends birthday this Sat.
I loved the splendour of the former Criterion restaurant and that was what made me go here. But it's now a tourist trap with naff posters on the marble walls and been totally stripped of its former charm and grandeur. Food was OK for money paid and service was good but we wont return.
Excellent food, great location and courteous service and staff. Best option in Piccadilly!
Ottima location, ottimo il personale, prezzi un po’ alti rispetto alla qualità, ma tutto sommato buono.
This was our experience. It may only be a one-off but it shows how management got it so wrong. When we went there, the back of the restaurant was sectioned off for a party of 50+ people. The noise and music level was horrendous. Like we were eating in the middle of a very rowdy suburban nightclub. This goes on for the duration of the whole meal and we had to shout to get heard most of the time. Also, as a result of this, there is only one toilet cubicle for everyone else in the restaurant as the other toilets are in the party area. Unacceptable. The food itself is nothing to write home about but the servers were very inexperienced and got many things wrong. Our waitress was attentive and apologetic but there is nothing she can do about any of the above and we just felt sorry for her. We told management about this at the end of the meal but only got a shrug. I hope the party pay them enough as I wont be going back here. What a shame as the Criterion (which this used to be) was a very classy - though admittedly a little stiffy - joint.
my booking wasnt even recorded, i wasnt offered the set menu so didnt receive the off, and i was sick within 20 mins of eating.
Great food and place in center of Piccadilly! Excellent staff and cool ambiance.
Service was really bad. We were sitting next to the server station and they totally ignored us.
European Bertuccis
Simple and not delicate food, expensive, turist-trap
The people were very rude, except for the manager. There were plates taken away that were not even finished. Got our main meal at the Same time as our start. The pizza Tonno did not even have tuna on It. The desert was terrible, after trying to talk to the waitress she just walked away, in the end the manager fixed it. The only positive thing was the location and how the inside was decorated.
Heel trage bediening, foute drank aan tafel brengen en we hebben na 45min pas ons eerste drankje gekregen. Hier ziet men ons niet meer terug.
menu' e qualità' del cibo scadente. Eccessiva rumorosità' delle sale
