Nice venue and ambience . Lovely cocktails and bar area. Bar staff very friendly
Small and friendly restaurant with fantastic service and food will be returning again
Very nice atmosphere and great food
Staff and service were great.Really friendly.Food was good. Simple, tasty and plentiful.Good value.Enjoyed it.
All good. Enjoyed lunch.
Ghastly jangly music. Meat was blubbery and cold. The menu for this “Italian Restaurant” could have come from anywhere; eg a veggie number, some fish, chicken, steak and lamb. Rather vulgar and enormous flower-pots full of vegetables then appeared with a cone made out of paper inside. We had not ordered any form of take-away, however and were baffled by this. This previously good restaurant should try to be a little more focussed rather than attempt to please all.
Was so disappointed have been to the restaurant before and their menu was diverse but on Saturday there was no choice but food was lovely but we were rushed in and out and it wasn't busy!!!! I didn't think they wanted us there it was meant to be a birthday dinner but it was a let down which is a shame
Very limited New Year’s Eve menu. Food was over cooked and tasteless. The desert tasted like it had been prepared a week in advance.
The service was also very rushed and pressurised.
The live music and general vibe were good.
It was good but it could have been even better service
Amazing cocktails by amazing bartenders! Really good italian food. Moderate prices. Nice and cosy. Good vibes.
Outdated photos from website set wrong expectations. Mediocre food and poor value, very expensive for what you get—average to Italian food. Terrible tagliata, for a £30 portion, you would expect good quality meat. Instead, the beef was extremely low quality. The peppercorn and red wine sauces were simply water-based, absolutely low quality, as if prepared by an amateur cook. Service slightly chaotic and not very professional given the expensive prices. I do not recommend.
The restaurant was half empty on a Saturday night, which should have alerted us! The service was terrible. It took 20 mins to get the water and they forgot the sparking. The waitress didn’t write the order down and came back twice to ask again!
The food was tasteless, lacking in seasoning. Two of us got our starters and the rest came 10 minutes later. The waiters didn’t even care to check. They just ignored us.
The Milanese was rubbery and bland. The lemon sole full of bones which should have been taken off. The waiters avoided eye contact at all times and kept running around in a frantic manner!
Prices are also very high for such bland food! One of the worst restaurant I’ve been to!
Generally very agreeable, but shame about the "muzak"!
Loved the ambience of the restaurant. Intimate, beautiful decor/design, the bar looks amazing and lighting was great. Food was delicious and loved the table opposite the bar. Perfect for a private intimate meal for 2-4 people.
Not great, food was very bland, not seasoned properly and pasta was served lukewarm. Deserts totally off the mark, really disappointing in terms of flavour and presentation.
Was expecting a lot better for the prices, location and as it specialises in Italian cuisine.
Atmosphere and decor not bad for a quiet night or date - good for conversation and pleasant lighting. Service was good.
Was great except for service which was poor
I love Ritorno. The staff are so friendly, the food is good and the bar cocktails are prepared with real skill. Sometimes it can be a little quiet, but on this occasion two parties of Italians celebrating birthdays arrived to enjoy the bar - like a little bit of Milan.
Well furnished restaurant with plenty of room, although it filled up later it was still quiet enough to talk. The food was OK but for the price I think it should be much better. The octopus starter and the almond pudding had little flavour. The home made pasta was good but quite a small portion.
So disappointing. The service was dreadful, just ruined everything else. The restaurant appears a decent, sophisticated looking Italian in an expensive part of London. However, the food is genuinely average and the waiters just pathetic. We walked out as soon as we could. I just do not understand how someone can own a place like this, pay expensive rent and rates, invest in expensive interiors and then allow such useless people to run and work there.
There is plenty of choice in the vicinity so choose elsewhere.
Excellent lunch in the sunshine on their nice terrace.
Friendly, efficient service
Great food with good variety
Chilled glass of Trentino wine
Food quality poor
Delicious fresh food, comfortable seats, great wine list, great service and really good value! I also love the decor. This was our 3rd or 4th visit to Ritorno and we will be back again soon. It's really a great little restaurant. They also have amazing cocktails.
Ritorno, as the name suggests is now on top of my list, perfect service, quality food, perfect ambient and the location is very elegant. Renato also was very kind and made us feel very comfortable...for sure I’ll “return” :)
Good ambience, quiet and great food! Have been there a few times and the service has always been good!
Hard to fault, great for a casual supper with family but would be great for celebrations too. Highly recommended, friendly staff, delicious food and Rose Prosecco!
GOOD Italian food. Great for locals in the vicinity . Enjoyed everything and the seating is comfortable
Great food, great staff
Food was outstanding- creative, unique and well presented. Delicious food, great personal service and a fabulous environment. Loved it
Very nice service. Langoustine pasta was delicious
First visit and won’t be my last. Good service and food reasonably priced.
Fab cocktail waiter, lovely venue, awesome food!
The service was terribly slow and nonchalant. We were ignored unless we waved at someone. Main course food portions were bizarrely small, compared to the huge starter of calamari my son had. Also the main course presentation could have been much better. Sorry, but not impressed. Also, for an Italian restaurant, the decor was strangely Japanese in feel.
We had a very, very nice Dinner indeed ,the Truffle Pasta and Calamari were outstanding ...
Very good Service indeed from the girl who served us .As a surprise we were given a Birthday Sparkler as well. Very sweet of them ,without being extra ordered and unexpected . Nice Chelsea ambiance ....Very recommendable...
Food is great service that day was a bit slow but overall experience was nice.
Fantastic food, great friendly service provided by knowledgeable staff with a good sense of humour. Would highly recommend a visit.
Nice, stylish Italian restaurant with friendly attentive staff. Food lovely, though pork belly a little tough!
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, friendly but unobtrusive staff, good vegan options. Good value for an expensive area. Great for s special occasion.
Delightful atmosphere, friendly staff and delicious food. Really enjoyed our first visit! Won’t be our last:)
Nice chilled vibe with superb food. Will defiantly go again
