    Lovely food and excellent coffee. Slightly let down by the very slow service that particular lunchtime. Was not a problem on other days we visited.

    Enjoyed our visit greeted as we arrived, shown to table early. Food and drink all were very nice, Lovely outlook across the countryside. Overall very much enjoyed.

    A delicious lunch on a rainy day. Friendly and efficient service with a relaxed atmosphere and great value too. We will definitely return when next in the area,

    Booked for breakfast on New Year’s Eve. First visit and will definitely come again! Excellent, warm and friendly service and delicious food. How rare to have everything perfect. Many thanks for a lovely experience and a memorable start to 2025.

    Disappointing all round. Made this a special trip during our Christmas break. We understand it’s a cafe but the service was dreadful. We waited over an hour for our food to arrive. Specials were offered but when it came to ordering it was no longer available. People that arrived after us received food before we did. The gnocchi was over cooked the dhal chilli was cold. We had to wait 25 minutes before our plates were taken from the table we had to go up to the counter to ask for dessert menus. When dessert arrived the sticky toffee pudding was not sticky and the cake was dry, the coffee cake was dry and crumbly ( not due to the strudel topping) the apple crumble was very sour but we still ate it was we were still hungry. If the staff were more attentive and kept us up to date with offers of more drinks it would have made for a better experience. Upon payment the staff member looked annoyed as we didn’t leave a tip. It could be so much better.
