With a only three tables to handle, between two waitstaff, service left much time be desired. Drinks we’re not as advertised (blood orange mimosa contained no blood orange juice) Food (breakfast) took excessively long to prepare. Coffee was mediocre at best. Cream and spoon for coffee was quite a challenge to get after coffee was delivered without either. Waiter forgot multiple items of our order, and multiple parts of our order were prepared incorrectly. Due to the already extended time for everything to come out, waiting for corrections simply wasn’t an option. A nearby table was overheard complaint about an entire meal that wasn’t delivered, but the waiter was attempting to bring the check to them. Overall, poor service and nothing exciting about the food. Won’t be back.
We had a reservation at 930a for brunch which we didn’t realize was when the restaurant actually opened (we wouldn’t have made a reservation otherwise). The restaurant was poorly staffed and service was slow. I ordered a coffee drink and was eventually told they were all out of it (even though we were the first customers). Food was good but nothing spectacular. I’d normally give the experience three stars but with Covid still having effects on the service industry and many places looking for staff, I felt this could have contributed to the staffing.
This place was amazing! Went for a bachelor party and the staff was super fun and treated us amazing. Definitely going back when people come into town!
Terrible experience. First, they cut the menu down because they didn't have enough chefs. Secondly, the service was terrible - inattentive server for who we had to keep waiting and looking for. We were looking for an evening in town and this experience destroyed our mood and the evening.
Cornbread and biscuits were dry
We waited 20 minutes for our drinks, and ordered our entrees before we had them. They brought our sides before the entrees. It was just odd, and hard when you are trying to host a dinner.
It’s was ok not like it use to be . Please bring back the prime rib!
Would not recommend this place. Appetizers came out frozen in the middle. Took forever to get drinks. Plastic dividers were in the way on table. Had to ask multiple times for silverware and cheese. Never came.
Food was delicious! The service was phenomenal as well. Would definitely return.
A bit on the pricey side, but worth it nonetheless. Campanelle was fantastic!
Good place for brunch or dinner. Foods are good and musics are great.
I took my girlfriend on her birthday here. The food was great I had an onion soup and the Swiss steak sandwich. My girlfriend had the salmon salad. For drinks we had sparkling rose it’s was good too. My girlfriend also got the boss lady cocktail, that cocktail tail was really plain and not that great. For dessert we had the cheesecake, it was lovely such a sweet finish. The server brought her a a ice cream dessert for with candle for her birthday. That was sweet. He was a good server but I just wished he was more attentive and enthusiastic. It was our first time eating there and could’ve made it a whole experience for her and my girlfriend. The reservation said it was for a birthday so it was obviously a special occasion. We had a good time but it wished it could’ve been more special.
Very delicious and great atmosphere. I’ve had happy hour and lunch here and this was my first dinner service and I’m impressed as usual
The server at the bar was excellent. The chicken sandwich was superb.
The Sunday brunch was tasty and the service was very good. My only issue is with the incorrect information on both the restaurant website and the Open Table website. We had a confirmed 9:30 am reservation via Open Table and the restaurant website said brunch started at 9 am. When we arrived at 9:20 the restaurant was closed and a sign at the door said that it didn’t open until 10 am.
The service was great and he made for a fun evening.
Nice evening meal for our family. Good overall food.
Good food and service
The waitress seemed overwhelm, it took a bit for her to come and greet us and when it came to billing the QR code which allows parties at the table to pay for what they payed for did not work so she had to physically split the check and she charged the wrong account making me pay more. Yet she was kind and gracious this happen most likely due to low staff and that is not her fault.
Enjoyed lunch. Vibrant atmosphere.
Amazing fooooood! Everything we ordered was spectacular.
Staff was super nice and very accommodating! We had a party of 9 and they made sure we all sat together in the same table. Food and drinks were good and the place is really cute. Would recommend and hope to be back soon!
Food was delicious !
Server Kyle (i think) was very attentive, very friendly!
The salmon was delicious, I rarely ever finish my plate but this was certainly worth every bite !
Excellent service, fresh and tasty food, and upbeat ambiance. Overall, a great place for lunch or dinner!
Food was delicious!! Service can get better.
My mom had a great time for Mother’s Day! The steak was just ok, only tasted like char. Needs better seasoning. Otherwise everything was great
Really great experience, wonderful mother’s day menu and they had roses for the mom’s. Overall great experience!
Great cocktails! The old fashioned that the server recommended was awesome! The scallops were just OK. My kids ordered the burger and loved the desert. My steak was decent.
Good place downtown!
Very nice space. I had the french toast which was very tasty and eggs were done perfectly. My husband really enjoyed his breakfast sandwich with was filling start to the day for him.
Very disappointed. Took some friends from out of town and was embarrassed by the whole experience. We booked a reservation for 10 which said it was available online and they ended up sitting us at 2 different tables and then we waited 1+ hours for our food which all came at different times along with getting the wrong drinks. The waitress did not come check on us once until we got really impatient and asked her what was going on at which point she proceeded to blame the kitchen and not even apologize and then when we got the check she felt it was appropriate to charge us 20% for gratuity. Would never recommend to anyone.
Our meal came out 45 minute after our appetizers, our Brussels were cold and unappetizing.
Me and my girlfriends went for ladies night & it did not disappoint!! Will definitely be back soon
We were a party of 3 couples and were thrilled with our dining experience. First, the place is stunning and gives you a feel of being out without feeling pretentious. The service, drinks, food, and ambiance were all a 10. The drink menu had all sorts of interesting cocktails. Our party was able to order a wide variety of dishes -salads, steak, fish and all came out perfectly, and were appropriately priced. The service staff was attentive and knew their menu. We all agreed we would return.
This was our first time at Roanoke and we were pleasantly surprised. The food was really good and nice sized portions. A decent wine list, with Prisoner brand wines leading the charge. Bottle of Pinot Noir, was only $75 for the high end.
The Tuna Poke salad, and the Halibut special were very good. We'll go back!
Loved our server Victoria. It was a wonderful experience!
I was very disappointed in the food. Everything came out cold. The bagel was the strangest tasting bagel I’ve ever had. Waffle appeared to be frozen and not made in house. Iced tea was good. Service was good.
The drinks were great and the service was fantastic. The food was just ok but could have just been an off night for chef.
