Rodizio Rico - The O2
Too expensive for what you get. The meat was way too salty and not a very good range.
The salad/buffet bar was poor. All of the meat was over cooked. It was like being in a canteen rather than a restaurant
Overall ok. The pineapple and some meats were good. Bad ambiance and not worth the money.
I guess we were expecting a Texas de Brazil or fogo de Chao level experience.
The drinks were good. We enjoyed our cocktails. The food was tasty, but the servers took a while to come to our table with the meat. We were left waiting for a while, and we were disappointed with the lack of variety.
The beef was not done very red I like my beef bit pink but this was too much the outside was burned and over seasoned. Very disappointed been to a couple of brazilian all you can eat restaurants but much better food then here.
Then standard of the food has gone downhill since Rodizio started. All the meet was salty or overcooked. The nicest dish was the roasted potatoes from the buffet. Was definitely not happy paying £27 for the food, and will not be going back.
The meat was either very salty or very bland and it took them ages to get to us. When they did come to our table, they wouldn’t attend to everyone on the table. I’ve been once before and it was fine then so I am very surprised and disappointed with my experience this time
Very hospitable staff, uplifting environment, speedy service and reasonably priced. Will be going again and highly recommend to others.
As a regular visitor to Rodizio Rico I was very disappointed to find the meat tough and. I where near as good as previous experiences.
Very disappointing for the price.
Been here on many occasions but this time the meat quality was very poor some of it not even chewable
It was our 20th wedding anniversary on the day and we booked in advance stating thus
They didn’t even look at the booking and then when we got home we had a message to say that we hadn’t turned up
Won’t be back after about 25 visits
Most Staff here couldn’t care less about customers
Food is nice and plentiful, definitely good value for money. However it is very difficult to get a waiter/waitresses’ attention to order drinks, etc. Waitress with the brown, curly pony tail several times watched us trying to get someone’s attention but stayed just standing around.
Great meal and a never ending supply of meat
The meats were extremely salty so we couldn't enjoy the selection much. Weekday price should be cheaper than the weekend. I had my staff discount card which allows me to discounts at majority of businesses at the o2 including Rodizio, however when I showed the waitress she looked at me like I was crazy and didn't bother to go look into it so my discount wasn't applied. The mains buffet is quite limited and food like the lasagne had gone cold. You're paying like £3 for a glass of basic juice poured from a carton, and a can of soft drink. My friend really needed to charge her phone and no plugs close by and the only one available on the other side of the room was not working as another diner found out. We ended up paying a few pennies short of £80 including service charge, the shock as we hardly ate or even enjoyed the food. We were highly disappointed and money wasted.
Really good service from the guys bringing the meat.
Absolutely amazing! I loved the food, the service and you're spoilt for choice. Even have vegetarian options. Hope to be back soon!
Slow and unresponsive service, poor selection of salads. Limited selections of meats. Very disappointing. Unenjoyable. Would not return.
i was lead to believe that i was getting a deal with the table.. as the site i was on directed me to this site without me even realising.
The food was okay, nothing special, there wasn't as many options as I would have thought, both the meats and salad section were a little disappointing. The taste was good though. All things considered the value for money wasn't very good. Although I understand it's at the O2 so it was always going to be pricey. The service was good although staff members would often ignore the green and red cards and ask you if you wanted extra meat. Which after a while became quite exhausting and impacted on the dining experience. All things considered it was an okay meal but at the price I wouldn't be recommending friends.
Great meat, tasty and plenty of it ! Varied salads and ok price considering location and event on.
Good food, but the set menu price is too expensive.
Very pleased was the first time here and couldn't fault it, the salad bar was full and there was a lady checking it. The service was prompt and constant and the servers were polite and cheerful. I would definitely use again and recommend to family and friends.
Disappointing that they couldn't find booking, then stuck us in overspill upstairs. Prett souless and uninspiring. Poor.
Really like this restaurant. Abit pricey though, this is why went for special occasion.
Having eaten in similar ‘style’ restaurants we knew that good salad options plus lots of meat carved at the table was in store. In fact, both were just a little disappointing. Salads were good but not as many options as we would have liked. Likewise, tasty lamb and excellent topside plus good ham but again, not quite as many options as ideal.
Nice and friendly environment. Courteous and professional staff. Lovely and sumptuous meal.
Great food and customer service.
I received a cake for free for as it was my birthday.
The whole concept of turn the card to green or red is lost in this place. If you have it red they still come pester you with the over done burnt food
The meat that came round was more than well done and the so called 15 types you just about get to see 4-5
Service for drinks and inbetween was fairly average with waiter forgetting things you ordered and having to remind them again. Not great experience for a fairly pricey dinner.
The grilled meat was dry and not well seasoned and the grilled lamb i had tasted like it was going off. Otherwise the staff were friendly. I was told we could not sit upstairs as requested due to staff shortage. No one came to take our drinks order after about 20mins of arrival and had to call a waiter and ask for someone to take our drinks order.
Great tasting food but when the restaurant is busy and with background noise, conversations etc it is hard to sometimes hear what the passadors are presenting at the table and it must be annoying for them to constantly have to repeat themselves as to what meat is being offered. Great value for money, good service, excellent choice of food.
We had a very lovely time food was excellent
It was nice but some of the beef was too raw for us. Would have been nice if some beef came round that was a little more cooked as well. Besides that, great!
The service was rubbish - I booked a table and my table was given away.
Sat on the table for 30mins and no one came over to take my order.
Was quite disappointed all round
Fab and fun way to eat but portions are HUGE so would suggest children’s age limit is extended to at least 15 (currently age 10). Not many 11 year olds can eat the same amount as their parents!
Not impressed with the cuts of meat at all. The topside was very tough, chicken was dry, steak knives definitely needed but not provided. It got to the point where there was only one cut of beef worth having and I gave up trying. The rest. This restaurant was recommended by a friend so perhaps we were just unlucky but for £28pp we Left hungry and I doubt if I’ll return.
Value for money and amazing food , would recommend !!
First Visit very enjoyable plenty to eat , staff very helpful and friendly , nice surroundings would visit again and certainly recommend .
Didn’t know we were coming even though the app confirmed it
Really loved the restaurant - glad we got there early.
Went for dinner with a friend at Rodizio Rico before the TV show Icons at the Indigo O2. The venue is lively but the serving staff are stretched between too many tables. Waited ages to get anyone to take a drinks order and find out how it worked. The guys who bring round the meats are very friendly and come round regularly. Salad bar was nice but not exceptional. Overall the meat was good quality and well prepared so no complaints there but it was a bit expensive for what it was.
We were a small group of 6 celebrating my sons 18th birthday. We have been here many times before and were very happy with the experience yet again.
I would, however, mention that the cost of most drinks were reasonable except of both diet coke and regular coke. At a cost of £3 per can (served in a can with a glass) it is in some cases 10 times the cost of a can in a multi pack which is I think unacceptable.
