Rogue Bros At The Boathouse - is dining seasonal, social and in our opinion with the best view in Scotland.

Brothers Mikey & James Sim focus on a social dining experience with seasonal plates, quality wines, beer and cocktails. With an ever changing 3 month menu we champion fresh and quality ingredients.

The restaurant has two distinct areas, our seafront - a relaxed spaced with a stunning view and the old boathouse - a beautiful traditional space. We can host tables of any size within what has been previously nicknamed "The best kept secret in South Queensferry".

Well it isn't a "secret" anymore.

First time eating at this restaurant and enjoyed the atmosphere, the service and a table at the window with a view of the bridge. Several dishes were disappointing however. The monkfish in the Monkfish Tacos was covered in quite hard dark batter with very little monkfish in the batter and tasted a little oily, garnish however was tasty. The Char grilled tiger prawns, parsley, coriander, chilli were butterflied and didn't have much prawn meat in them and what was there was stuck onto the shell making it very hard to get it off to eat. The Charcoal scallops, lemon, dill, tarragon were nice and plump but could do with more flavour. The heritage tomato salad was tasty and I enjoyed the Sticky date & ginger pudding with salted caramel and vanilla bean ice cream. A glass of old vine Shiraz went down really well.

Great service, great food. Wonderful location, it was our wedding anniversary and we were given the perfect table, looking out to the Firth of Forth and the rail bridge. Will definitely return and definitely recommend 😃👍

Since you changed the menu it's not the same. Why do you still have the old menu on the website because we came to have bruchetta and chicken but they're not on the new menu very disappointed.

We recently moved into the area and the Boat House is now a favourite local haunt for us. Great food, great ambience and wonderful friendly staff, so always lovely to have dinner there. And of course exceptional views. Thanks gang and see you soon.

First time visiting, and will definitely be back. Staff were lovely and friendly without being overbearing and food was delicious. All backed up with a stunning view out across to the bridges. Lovely meal, thank you!
