Watch the sunset on our top deck and relax in one of our cozy outdoor lounges. The Rooftop features handcrafted cocktails and breathtaking bay views.
They don’t serve any food! Drinks only. It’s a beautiful location - great breeze and water views. Our server was amazing, too. But it’s really stupid that they don’t serve food. I’ve been to several hotels with rooftop bars and all of them serve food. The waitstaff just brings it up from the kitchen. The LBI Hotel is missing an opportunity! We had one drink and left, heading down to Daddy O’s rooftop bar instead to grab some dinner. Would love to come back if they add a dinner menu!
Delicious. Every step of the way. Thank you for an amazing meal!
The Gerard and Joey were personable and professional. The food was fantastic
Wish they had food! But a great place to grab a drink and watch the sunset!
Went for happy hour drinks for a birthday, nice quiet ambiance with delicious drinks. On the pricey side but it’s not the type of place you’ll spend hours at. Great before dinner drink spot on a nice evening!
Waitress and hostess were friendly and very accommodating.
The plastic cups for the drinks are cheesy and scream of decreased class.
Even inexpensive glasses would improve the experience dramatically.
My experience was very good , beautiful views , the staff was friendly and helpful, was disappointed that there was no snack options such as shrimp cocktail or healthy options
This is a great place to have a drink watching the sunset. The one drawback is that they offer no food even though they have a large restaurant downstairs. Such a bad business model
The rooftop is a nice place to go for photos, and that is about it. I went with a group of my friends who were all 21, and I am pretty sure we got taken advantage of and scammed. I am a bartender...and these drinks had little to no alcohol in them at all. If I am spending $14 on a cocktail, I should at least be able to taste the alcohol in it. Very disappointed with the value of the establishment.
Have eaten there a few times. Food is always excellent
Can’t believe they stopped serving food on the roof. I had food there just a few weeks ago!
I understand that there may be a worker shortage this summer and it may be logistically harder to serve food up there, but I didn’t see (if there was one) any mention when I made the reservation that it was drinks only. Afterwards I did see no food mentioned in others reviews, but didn’t think to check that since I ate there not too long ago.
Finding another place to eat after 7:00 on a Friday night on LBI is not easy!
Awesome space though, and we got to see the Stanley Cup!
We had dinner reservations however upon arrival we were informed that the rooftop did not serve food. Huh?? Why would they accept dinner reservations? We were Informed they stopped serving dinner rooftop recently but apparently forgot to notify those with reservations. We went down to SALT (also in hotel) to which we were told we could sit at the bar, despite an empty restaurant (all tables were reserved for RESERVATIONS!!! But didn’t we also have a reservation??). We were extremely disappointed in the manager’s ability to accommodate us despite their mistake. We were also underwhelmed by the food. We will not return.
It’s unfortunate but this space was so dull. Our waitress was nice, but there was no music, no food, just very overpriced drinks. You were allowed to go buy bagged snacks from the store downstairs, but it really wasn’t what we were looking for. They need to have speakers & music piped in.
Ok but waiting for service (20 min) before being waited in. All else was great
This is listed as “dining” and yet there is NO food whatsoever!!! Open Table should not allow this as a listing for dining. Total bait and switch. We did not realize this until after we ordered drinks and there were no other options for dinner reservations on Saturday night on the island. They did eventually find room for us at the hotel restaurant, but overall very unhappy with our experience there.
We made dinner reservations but we were not told until we got there that dinner is no longer being offered on the rooftop.
Made reservation - even though it was actually first come first serve. Reserved signs out but everyone sat where they wanted no organization. No fault to the waitress - under staffed. Could be great. So will still recommend
I understand there was a shortage of servers but I feel that the reservation shouldn’t have been accepted if they weren’t able to accommodate.
No food served on rooftop. Kind of a bummer but fine. Great atmosphere and fun to have a cocktail. A bit pricey but fine. Drinks were good. Service was great.
The experience was very nice but why ask about the Food when none is served?
You don’t serve food anymore. You should update Open Table and have your staff notify guest who walking in with children
The Rooftop was an interesting experience. When you "arrive" you need to look around to find a hostess. There are 2 elevators to this floor and she is at one of them. No directions at the other one to let you know where to go. Then, we were not seated. Just told to "go find a table". Most had empty cups or water on them. We had to ask a busy server to clear a table and to wipe it down so we could sit. I had made this reservation 3 weeks ago and was told there was a limited snack menu of about 6 items. No problem, we just want a little something to munch on with our cocktail. HAHA, they decided to stop serving snacks. Hey guys, I get short staffing but how about some pretzels?? The drinks were pretty watered down. No straws available as they had run out. I guess I was expecting a little more "class" for the Hotel LBI. One positive is that the overworked waitress was very nice.
Made reservations at rooftop. Arrived to be seated.Waited for waitress only to be told that they are not serving food anymore due to staffing. We should have been notified when we arrived by hostess that food was not being served. We were there 6/25 and had food
We went to living room which was beautiful
The poor bartender was tending bar and waiting tables along with the other bartenders. They were running around like crazy. Felt really bad for them
Meanwhile girls upstairs were only walking around delivering drinks. Not managed very well at all
Beautiful setting. Get there early to seat a large group. Even with reservations seating is first come first serve. Great takeout food available from Salt as well.
Very disappointed that no food is offered any longer on the Rooftop!
No salmon at 7:00 reservation
Waitress forgot about one of our meals
30th birthday party was a success!
Great night out with family hanging at the rooftop bar watching the 4th of July Fireworks. Grace our waitress, was friendly and helpful. Fun place to hang!
We enjoyed our time at Hotel LBI. The view on the rooftop is beautiful. We did not know that food would not be served on the roof, as they ended the service a few weeks ago. The drinks were between $10-$15, they were good however the presentation of the drinks was very poor for the amount of money they cost ($14 cocktail came out in a plastic cup, drink looked like a vodka soda).
Miss the live music.
As of Monday they are not serving food on the rooftop - so that was unfortunate as that was the reason for making a reservation. That sucks for servers as well as they lose out on bigger tips. The view was nice and ther server was sweet.
Girls’ night out!
The atmosphere is great, they didn’t have any food on the menu that would be good for sharing with a group which was disappointing.
You go to the rooftop for the view and the drinks . The food is a hard pass, nothing appealing to eat. However, great place for after dinner or pre-dinner
The drinks are a little pricey here and the food has a limited menu but both were very good and worth it. . The views and the atmosphere are great at any time of day. We always like coming here;)
Good for drinks and can't beat the views, but they need to improve and expand the menu. Only 6 things and not varied.
The appearance and location of the venue was very nice, but they need to improve their menu. They only offer 6 food choices, 3 of which are tacos. We tried 2 of these, the meat fillings had a good flavor but the shells were dry and fell apart and there was barely any of the toppings that were in the description. The lobster rolls were also dry and mostly consisted of lettuce. The chips were good, but the parmigiana aioli tasted more like lemon aioli. Overall not a great value for the cost.
