It’s all about top quality ingredients and a perfect pizza oven. From every variety of tomato to the burrata, mozzarella and exceptional gluten free pizza dough. Charming waitress who couldn’t do enough for us and quality vines that you don’t find everywhere
Average food, served cold..
Good service and excellent food. They take pride in their food.
Very good pizza efficient and friendly service would eat here again
Whilst the food is always good. Was surprised that the restaurant doesn't acvept Opemtable dining cheques which caused inconvenience to us. Nevertheless, OpenTable haa resolved the issue now.
The best pizza in town.
The best sourdough pizzas in London.
Good food and service. We would recommend and come back here in the future.
The food was great but rather poor service. Felt tike we were being rushed to leave even though there were plenty of available tables for other people. Staff didn’t seem very friendly and seemed a bit bored to be there. And the prices were a bit steep. I’ve been to other pizzerias where we were served the same quality of pizzas but better value and by far, better service.
Not after this visit...
Glass of wine, supposedly large, feels like a rip off poor measure, and for the lost expensive glass available.
Over half an hour waiting for two simple pizzas in a pizzeria! Then the central dough base was uncooked, soggy and inedible. Highly disappointing.
Service is so rude, It seems like you are bothering them. It takes a very long time to get your meal. What a disappointment for my family. Avoid this place !
We were three separate entities and all arrived at different times but this was smoothly accommodated.
I was the one on time!
When my guest showed displeasure in his glass of wine it was replaced. I had a taste of my random choice, which I was impressed by.
All the girl staff members (Valeria was one) were attentive and polite.
The food was very good.
If only you had proper beer!
Best pizza in town, always a perfect place for catch up with friends
perfect for a pre match pizza for a game at Stamford Bridge
good pizza; average service; no atmosphere but good value.
there were 5 of us we all had different pizzas .Every one was very happy including 1 gluten
First visit to this establishment and very impressed with the quality of the pizzas. Ambience seemed better down stairs but we ate upstairs. Thoroughly recommend it. Pizzas very tasty with nice pizza dough cooked just right
Waiter forgot our order, blamed chef!
Pasta was poor though l enjoyed the friarrelli.
No choice of beer, no draft, no ale.
Whilst booking, i mentioned it was my sons birthday and could they do a special dessert for him. No response. Whilst there, my son ordered from the kids menu and asked for ice cream as his dessert- it never arrived, we left because by then he was too tired.. The waitress didn’t write down the order, so the dough balls didn’t arrive because “she forgot!” And the gluten free base was so hard, I couldn’t cut it with a knife!! Pizza express across the road does better GF pizza with vegan cheese, and they are always happy to alter any toppings. GO there instead. We wont be returning here.
Best gluten free vegan pizza! Service is always efficient and friendly.
The food was great and the service was wonderful
I was expecting so much more from the food given my love for the Italian cuisine and I have to say I was not impressed at all. For the price of the food, there are better restaurants in the neighbourhood. Everything else was great but I don't rate the food at all. Whilst servings were fairly large, the quality was not very good. It can do better.
A great start to the new year with friends, prior to a damp squib of a match at Stamford Bridge.
Food came quickly, was tasty and enjoyable.
Beers also appeared promptly and were cold.
Waitress Ilaria was outstanding in the room and a delight to have as our server.
I was only disappointed to learn that she is not a regular in the Chelsea branch.
We try different local restaurants on match nights and this has to be the best of the bunch.
Very good evening spent on New Year’s Eve enjoyed the meal and drinks very much price wasn’t bad at all happy with the service however would have been better if the waiters were a bit quicker but as it was busy they did a good job !
Great pizza, as ever, from Rossopomodoro - despite worrying that the post-football crowd would mean that the restaurant was busy, we had no wait for our table. The table was upstairs in a room which tends to lack atmosphere, but it did at least mean that our two servers were attentive and very engaged in discussion with us about the food and wine. Service was excellent and the cooked food was piping hot when it arrived. Overall, we had a great evening.
Amazing pizzas and super friendly team! Nice environment and the best Italian coffee just to complete.
The food was incredible and they even had Margherita pizza with Vegan Cheese! The service was incredible and the staff were very friendly and made sure we had an amazing time. There were eight of us and there was plenty of space and we were all very comfortable. The service additionally was very good taking us only 10 minutes for all of us to pay individually.
Advertising yourself as a Neapolitan restaurant is quite far from the truth with the food you serve. looking forward to a good Neapolitan pizza it was very far from the mark. Also what we had to cost £50/head was very expensive. Will not be returning.
Pizzas were decent but not excellent - bill was really quite high for pizza and a drink and two starters between four (£30/head). Very friendly and helpful service though.
The food was great, plenty gluten free options. Had a gluten free vegan pizza and it was delicious. Nice ambience and very friendly staff.
Went for a quick work lunch and the food was delicious. We went for the set lunch menu which is great value and has just enough options.
Highly dependable for quick, good Italian food for the family. Great service, always willing to help.
For what it was ie. a pizza joint, I felt it was vastly over priced. Food, drinks etc were fair but did not justify the price. Will not be returning
Food was delicious, service was very courteous and attentive.
jsut good solid pizza, which is great for a pizzeria. one of the pizzas didnt come out properly and was re-done quickly. all good
Best pizza in Chelsea and amongst other restaurants of same brand.
We absolutely love the food at Rossopomodoro, which is the reason why we come here so often, but this time not everything was up to the usual standard. We usually go to the Covent Garden branch. Up until after our mains, everything was great. We never received the dessert menu and were never able to get anyone's attention. So after a while we decided to walk up to the kitchen/bar. I ordered the Calda Calda with some ice cream, 5 minutes later they wanted to serve me the ice cream separately while I was still waiting for my warm dessert (which came 15 minutes after btw). Not a huge deal, but still... when I told them that I ordered them together and want to eat them together, I received a weird reaction. Once we finally got our desserts, we didn't get enough cutlery and I was really surprised that the vanilla ice cream wasn't even made with real vanilla. Quite shocking for an authentic Italian restaurant, I think. When the bill showed up, they also charged us more for the dessert than displayed on the menu. I'm not usually a person who writes reviews, but this time I thought it was necessary.
By far the WORST encounter I’ve had with a restaurant. Table was booked for 8:15 didn’t get seated till 8:30. Ordered our starters and mains as soon as thinking it would be easier as it was very busy. After around half hour only one starter came through. Manager and staff kept making excuses about order being sent to the wrong table even though 3 tables around us who came after us, ate and left in the time we were waiting for our starters. At around 9:50 the remaining starters (montanara) finally came - we were also given different excuses from staff members as to why it took so long. All of which were blatantly lies as they had clearly forgotten to put the order through. Come 10:15 we’re still waiting for our main course. I spoke to the manager to ask her what exactly was the problem and why it was taking so long. Again - faced with more lies about the pizzas being prepared. At this point we were all beyond frustrated and hungry and just got up and left. I have never encountered such POOR and DISGUSTING customer service in my life. I will not be returning to this branch and will be sticking to the branch in Covent Garden.
Pizza was very nice but the cacio e pepe pasta was a wrong choice - not very good at all.
The places gets very busy on a friday night and service was a bit confused and slow.
Food was very Tasty and service was fab. Lots of gluten free options. Only downside was , they had run out of most of the dessert options. Would definitely go again
