I was very disappointed they seem to have completely changed into a very ordinary chain. None of their best and interesting dishes, such as the multigrain based pizza we’re in the menu, we had the tiniest bowl of olives, and the pizza I had had very little flavour and not many ingredients, we used to go every time we came to London and I had hoped to introduce The restaurant to my colleague, but instead felt rather embarrassed and won’t be coming back.
In the past I would have recommended local ingredients and interesting dishes
The food was awesome and given the amount of people it was relatively quick service as well. The only think was the price for certain pizzas is a bit much and for certain desserts as well. But the overall experience was great!
Fantastic gluten free pizza base, great location and service
A good restaurant when looking for somewhere to eat on the off chance. The pizza I had was nice and moist. Will definitely return again soon.
Efficient and friendly staff very helpful. Didn’t wait long for table.
Excellent service- particularly outstanding was Lucas, our super, friendly and efficient waiter - nothing was too much trouble. Fabulous food. Would definitely highly recommend to all.
Great service from Giovianni. Great ,every time I visit.
The food was excellent when it arrived, although the wrong dishes were brought out at first. Wine was good and fairly reasonable. Service - slightly too much focus on upselling but friendly and personable. Tables a little too small and close together to comfortably fit everything on them. Would dine again but good for a quick meal not a special occasion.
Always good - great pizza!
very friendly staff and very handy for theatre land
Lovely service, despite being busy the staff were friendly, helpful and attentive
Nice location, good food. A bit expensive, but definitely a good option for pizza.
Staff is extremely nice. Location is excellent, ambience is very pleasant and my son's spaghetti was good. However, the two gnocchi choices that me and my wife had were extremely salty, we couldn't finish our dishes. We even ended up having a bottle of water after we left the restaurant, so thirsty we were..
Great food, atmosphere and service
Such an amazing selection of food. Boy was it delicious! My friend and the GF pizza and said it was the best she’s ever eaten!
Only issue is we waited an awful long time for our plates to be cleared and then for the bill. We waited so long in fact that half our party had to leave as we would have been late for the theatre. Otherwise, everything was great! Will definitely be eating here again!
Attended with friends lovely food and great cocktails. 2-4-1. Good value worthwhile served quickly but not
We had booked a table as we were going to the theatre afterwards, waited 15 minutes. Went upstairs, lots of tables free..... put our order, waited and waited....one pasta came asked for a spoon, never came, then one pizza....then they realised the order for other 2 pizzas hadn't been processed....waited more...pizzas arrived, rushed to eat them, asked for the bill 3 times....finally had it, we paid for it and ran away to the theatre.
Food is great as always, pizzas are amazing! Service is exceptional! Highly recommended!
We were served promptly which was helpful as we were going to the theatre. The restaurant was very busy. I had calamari as a starter and it was good then I had salmon salad which was really nice. My husband had a pizza which looked lovely but was a bit soggy with the tomato sauce running on the plate so he was a little disappointed. Overall a good place
They sang a really lovely happy birthday! Absolutely amazing
Unfortunately very very noisy and very very crowded.
Very nice pre theatre Dinner and good service
Lovely food and people. In London for a few days and this was the best restaurant we were in by far. The staff were superb and made us feel welcome and at home in a city where good service seems to be on the decline. One of the few pizzerias in London that had a gluten free option to my wife's delight!
Comfort food, nice service, clean and fast. Even the wine was very good!
We booked a table but arrived early and even though we could see one or 2 available tables we were told we were too early and just ignored for 20 minutes - we were then taken upstairs which I thought would be disappointing but was ok - the service was charming but the waiters needed a lot of prompting - they were busy but very good humoured so it didn’t matter too much - the food was excellent though - I thought it was a bit expensive but we all enjoyed ourselves.
What a great find! Funky and modern, great atmosphere, brilliant menu and super friendly team. Perfect for Covent Garden and all the theatres - book well in advance it’s a busy place!!
Food was very good. Service was very polite however just a bit rushed. Felt as if we were being hurried especially as one had not quite finished one's starter. Nevertheless it was a lovely meal.
Amazing service amazing food and great cocktails!! Will definitely be back
for what it its its not bad at all. Pizza and pasta. friendly service, tasty food . not the cheapest but would go back
Superb pizzas and excellent service in this busy restaurant, all staff took the time to give us a pleasant dining experience.
Great pizza at this authentic Italian... good service from polite knowledgeable staff.
Easy to find and conveniently placed minutes away from Leicester Square tube station on the way to Cambridge Theatre. The service was excellent, prompt and helpful. They had a gluten free menu which makes a huge difference to my eating out, particularly as it contained lots of choice. Both my daughter and I had pizza and we loved the choice of toppings and thought the quality was excellent. Easy to cut with a normal knife and fork.
The wine was not overpriced and very good quality.
Would certainly go again and if you are coeliac I thoroughly recommend the restaurant.
Great food. Great people!
Lovely food. Short wait and attentive staff. Perfect location for theatre.
The most friendly staff in any London restaurant from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. They love children too and are really accommodating.
Lovely staff, lovely food - nothing to complain about.
Great pizza in a proper wood fired oven
our 4th time and still I rate this a fabulous Italian!
We booked this about 2 months ago for dinner in between cursed child performances - and our table was in the corner beside door to toilet and upstairs where a constant stream of folk passed by. Felt having booked so well in advance a better table was in order.
Pizza was fine not bad but nothing I'd rush back for service certainly mediocre
Overall rather disappointed after so many amazing reviews.
Excellent service and food. Authentic Italian; freshly prepared and cooked. Very tasty. Will definitely return!
