A really lovely bottomless brunch, we will definitely be returning
A very lovely vibe and great service. Would definitely recommend.
Now before you all start having a go, let’s set the scene. Mother’s Day is a special day. I understand it means it will be busier than normal and therefore the service may not be the usual. But if you state you can accommodate 60 diners then you should accommodate .
We booked our table weeks in advance of Mother’s Day. We did anticipate an Irish Parade happening in Manchester sonset off a bit early to adjust for it. We arrived at 11:50 and our table was booked for 12:15. We didn’t expect our table to be ready but to our surprise, it was. The table was stuck on the end barely big enough for two let alone two adults and a two year old girl. The Mother’s Day menu was presented and we ordered a starter and main as well as drinks. The length of time for them to arrive was nearly 40 minutes. The mains took another 35 minutes to arrive. Keeping a two year old happy for an hour is good enough but after this time our daughter had enough. She was hungry and restless. When the food eventually arrived, the portion of a roast beef lunch was essentially two potatoes a sprig of broccoli, a mini carrot a tiny Yorkshire pudding and a tiny piece of roast beef. We did want to have a special occasion experience but the length of time spent waiting really spoilt our meal. We don’t mind paying good money,if the food and the experience is good . To be honest this was neither good food or a good experience. It was expensive and overrated. This is sad, especially as we had read the recommendations given by Opentable. Lesson learned I guessz
Great service, nice food, lovely interior, in a great location. Would love to go again sometime. A great bottomless prosecco brunch!!
The man serving was fantastic. Food was very poor.
Food was good over all, but small portions! Which would have been an issue if we were paying full price but 50% we were happy to accept it. Quite a long wait for starters even though the restaurant was quiet. Good value for 50% off Monday. Quality of food was good.
Unfortunately, whilst our starters were nice, the main courses were very disappointing; the roast dinner was virtually cold ( not just a little - it was if it had been left for 20 mins or so)- when it was replaced, it was virtually no better - vaguely warm in a cold plate£. My salmon was over cooked and solid, as if it had been bought as ‘precooked’ salmon fillet from a supermarket.
Avoid the fish and chips. Fish batter should be crisp, this was stodgy, floppy and 1cm thick in parts.
Reserved a booking from the app for 2 people - there's no notice on the app that you have to specify if you would like afternoon tea, I was told they prep/order these in advance.
We ordered from the lunch menu which was nice enough - understandably not quite what we came for but nothing particularly special either. I know the afternoon tea is brilliant so I'm definitely bias and would only come again for that!
Restaurant seems understaffed considering it gets so busy - a lot of tables appeared to be waiting for service (drinks/long intervals between starters/mains/the bill - even menus!). The staff themselves are friendly and polite, just be wary the noise level gets unsurprisingly louder if there's a large group booking and staff attention seems to focus on the large group.
I booked a table for a special occasion, it was a first date. We had a lovely meal and the staff were great. Perfect atmosphere too. Our date went well and we’re are now together!
Loved it coming back very soon the staff were great food yummy bottomless prosecco fantastic 👍we all had a great time xx
Beautiful, classy interior and romantic atmosphere. Food was very tasty and worth the money. Big plus for including vegan options in valentines day menu! Would come again!
A thoroughly enjoyable Sunday afternoon with friends and a great atmosphere. Sunday lunch options were reasonably priced but note that the full a la carte menu wasn’t available.
To be honest very disappointing. Very noisy, table offered looked like it had been placed in a walk way. We were asked if it was OK, we said no only to be told they were really busy and that's all they had. Why ask? Nobody had come to us after 15 mins about a drink, so we took our business elsewhere. We work hard for our money and this was a birthday treat and I expect to be treated properly.
The service from start to finish was extremely sparse - to the point we had to summon service for all our drinks including teas for our afternoon tea and to clear the table. Fortunately the food was plentiful and company I was with was great.
Lovely food and great service. not been for a few years , won't leave it so long this time!
It was great
Good service, good atmosphere. Family dinner, burger good, Sunday roast good, fish & chips - not good and left an unpleasant taste, veggie Sunday roast was Ok. We had a table near the side door to begin with, when someone opened the external door the cold blew straight on us. Moved tables, no problem. I wouldn’t rush back because of the food, I’d certainly go back for drinks and couldn’t fault the staff.
Been a few times before always been excellent food & service & very good value for money well worth a visit
Really enjoyed lunch here lovely food and surroundings service very good to. Will definitely come again.
Went to Rosylee on Wednesday 31st January. The decor within the space is beautiful and the ambiance created was lovely. However the service wasn't great initially, they came to tell us what dishes they were out of stock of (which turned out to be almost everything). Secondly after ordering our drinks and starters, the food arrived before our drinks - in fact we had almost finished our starters before the drinks arrived. Thirdly the main courses where both very underwhelming - after being recommended the half chicken with chunky chips from the waitress I was very unsatisfied. The meat was dry, the chips where dry and the lacked favour in both aspects of the dish. For a romantic date night it wasn't great. Thankfully we had 50% off food on this occasion but i certainly would not have paid full price.
Lovely food and it’s a gorgeous place.
The staff were very friendly but slow and inattentive, we waited 40 minutes for our bill.
But would still go back!
Bar and service was really good it was a busy Saturday night and you couldn't tell from the service.
Our food was lovely however one of our friends had the pizza and it's wasn't cooked properly we sent it back but it wasn't much better when we got it back.
The toilets were upstairs to a bar that looked really cool but we didn't go in however the gents we were with said the toilets were disgusting and very unclean
We had been really looking forward to visiting Rosylee, but left feeling quite unimpressed- unfortunately.
Firstly, the waitress did not give us the Set Menu (we had to ask for it and that was also the case at Fitzgerald with the 2 for £10 cocktails offer).
The food itself was ok, more like a pub meal than in the restaurant.
But the biggest disappointment was the desert (Eton Mess)!!
If I understood correctly it had been made on the spot and was covered in a mountain of soggy whipped cream.
We both couldn’t finish our deserts, as it was just so sickly sweet and textureless.
The restaurant itself is lovely, but after the first visit we won’t be rushing back.
Lovely atmosphere and food , some great veggie options.
There were 5 of us for bottomless brunch and the service was good just slightly overbearing. We had a male waiter who continuously leant across people's plates/ drinks and hovered around a bit. This was a shame as we felt pressure to finish up and move on.
Overall it was ok and is good value for money. We will visit again.
Had the bottomless brunch and the waiters were continuously topping us up. The food was lovely and perfect portions for a brunch.
Waited approximately one hour for our pizzas / burgers to arrive. When I did my pizza was bland.
First time eating here, the service was great and the food was delicious with decent portion sizes. Would definitely recommend!
Had lovely bottomless brunch with a friend. No problem booking a table online the day before. Would definitely recommend.
1 waiter did an amazing job seeing to the whole restaurants orders. He is a credit to the company. Could have done with an extra member of staff of two to lighten the load. Too much of a waiting time for order to be placed, drinks to arrive and main meal to arrive.
Really wanted a dessert but was not aware they did desserts until the server asked if we wanted any near the end of the meal. After waiting 20 minutes for our plates to be taken away, we didn’t want to stay any longer.
The restaurant has so much potential. It has a lovely ambience and great food. To make it exceptional needed the extra staff. I appreciate it was on a Friday evening, even more still staff were needed. Once again, fantastic service given by the man server.
Great mussels for started didn't expect them to be as big as they were so I was very impressed. Lovely decor and atmosphere even for a lunch time mid week. Will defiantly be returning and letting all my friends and family know
The food was ok , quite small servings , worth it though as it was half price ... I think if it had been full price it would have been expensive for what we had and I would have gone elsewhere .. I wasn’t keen on your bottled lager choice ....I hadn’t heard of any of them I’m more used to Peroni,Sol, Corona , Budweiser so settled for a cocktail instead ... was disappointed that you had no vanilla ice cream , especially as it was to go on the sticky toffee pudding .... it just doesn’t work with mint choc chip , banana ,strawberry .. it really does need vanilla .... staff were very attentive tho and pleasant
Pleasantly surprised with the experience, we opted for the Rosylee in part due to the offer at time of booking, but would be more than happy to book again regardless of any offer or not..
Food was so good. Highly recommend to all.
The not fish and chips (beer battered hallumi) was a highlight
Very good service, steak was slightly overdone for rare.
Jack looked after both me and my friend. He was very welcoming and attentive. The food was fantastic. I would say they need custard on the menu! The atmosphere and staff overall is brilliant. A fantastic date night or get together with friends. I really enjoyed the evening.
We had a group of three arrive all at separate times so we were late sitting at our table for evening tea, but the staff didn't have a problem with this. The food was delicious, and even though it looked like there was only one waiting staff on (Luke), he did a great job at making sure we were okay during the meal. Would happily eat there again.
And the 50% off food was a fantastic offer!
I thought the food was reasonably priced. My starter was lovely and my partner enjoyed his fish and chips very much. There was nothing wrong with my meal - I ordered the wild boar and chorizo with bacon burger. It was too salty for me so it was the wrong choice obviously with hindsight bacon a chorizo would be salty. I wish I’d ordered the sea bream. 🙄
Couldn’t fault , amazing food, attentive staff and good ambience will be returning!
Great value - the 50% off food offer was automatically applied but even without it we would have been impressed with the value. The only issue was that a number of items on the menu weren't available but what we had was lovely. And great, friendly service. Thank you!
