We've teamed up with farmers who are passionate about growing great produce while respecting the environment. Fruit and vegetables will be come directly from biodynamic Brambletye in Sussex, and from Organiclea, a cooperative in East London.
In the center of the room is our bar which is reservable for guests dining with us over the age or 18, or 16 if accompanied by an adult. The rest of our seating is a mixture of standalone and communal tables which can be be converted into a semi private area for up to 10 to 12 guests. The food was delicious and service very friendly and helpful.
Visited with friends for breakfast. Excellent food, recommend the jalapeno cornbread. Service was good though we felt rushed with a 1.5 hr time slot, especially as the counter and bar areas were completely empty.
Had a lovely Sunday breakfast at ROVI - the jalapeño cornbread was especially tasty! The servers were very nice and welcoming.
Food was amazing. The flavours and variety where excellent. The staff where attentive and the ambience great. We sat at the bar making it a bit more informal but still perfect for 2 people. Great night and another great experience at ROVI.
Sharing dishes with unexpected flavours- very nice attentive service- good buzzy place- lots of veg & vegan dishes but it does also serve meat & fish
We were group of 4 adults
Had lovely time
We came from west Wales for a birthday trip. It was a fantastic experience in every way. All the dishes we ordered were delightful and memorable. Our waiter Nick was excellent. We highly recommend to anyone & will return when possible. Thanks!
Food very fresh and innovative. I think some dishes could be more generous and filling. Also could rotate the menu a bit more often keeping favourites like celeriac Schwarma and halibut with curry sauce which are the best two dishes.
Overpriced and no quality for the price.
menu too limited.
inventive food , almost too inventive, but everything tasted very good. Portions on the small side for what you are paying. good for vegetarians.
The tables are quite close to each other and I felt it was slightly too noisy to be able to chat easily .
What a fabulous restaurant, busy and bustling but tasty and delicious. The staff are incredibly accommodating and polite, apologizing to us for not having our table ready in time. Did we care?, not at all as we were enjoying the warm evening outside and tasting some of the most fabulous gin and tonics around. We will definitely be returning as there was so much more on the menu that we wanted to taste!
Had an amazing time! We were very looked after, with the staff being friendly and fun. Food was delicious, many compliments to the chefs!
Amazing food and amazing, friendly and fun staff! The ambience was great, would definitely eat here again!
We went to celebrate a belated birthday. We have been following the work of Ottolenghi for a long time. One of the best meals we have had in our lives! Definitely the best meal we had while in London.
It is was fine but not memorable and expensive for what we had
We were a party of 6 and put on a table right near the cooking area, which made it very hard to hear each other. in addition, the table was oddly shaped and did not make it supportive to talk and enjoy each others' company. we are a mostly vegetarian and vegan party and the choice was limited. there was little protein offered, other than dairy based, which is surprising given how good Ottolenghi is for vegetarians. not enough use of pulses. one of us was gluten-free and there was no alternative. a restaurant of this kind could easily provide gluten-free bread and other menu options. this is the second time i have been to Rovi and was not very impressed the first time either. A disappointment.
A faultless meal. This restaurant is all about flavour. Probably any choice of course would be both an exploration of taste and a revelation.
Great restaurant for Aussies visiting London. Food is fantastic and service first class. Have the shared plates so you can savor all the great dishes
Truly exceptional food and experience. Would go back.
Amazing. Loved the food. Service was fantastic. Catered for our kids nut allergies with no fuss. Would definitely come back if only we lived in London.
The ribs were absolutely amazing, we literally licked the plate clean albeit in a polite manner!
Enjoyed the food very much and our waitress was fantastic full of smiles and service
My son had raved about Nopi so my wife and I were looking forward to our visit to Rovi for a birthday celebration. We were though totally captivated by the food and the whole experience. Breathtaking! Lobster crumpet, Tempura stems & herbs, Corn Ribs, Celeriac Shawarma, Hoggity Ribs ...each surprising and unforgettable. We will be back to get through the whole menu!
The SERVICE WAS FANTASTIC!!
I was really looking forward to trying ROVI. The ambience is modern, open and quite LA. We sat at the bar seats which was ok but I would’ve liked to have been given a choice of table or bar.
Food was good. I’m gluten free and could have done with some sort of bread replacement.
Wine we chose Albariño was delicious.
We gave a 7.5/10 for food and experience
Lovely experience! Delicious food and wine. We tried a number of things from the menu and all were delicious.
Second time at Rovi. Food impeccable as always. Some dishes are more of a hit than others, but what's nice is that the menu changes frequently, though my 2 favourites (Celeriac Shwarma and lobster muffins) were still there .
I have nothing against foreign waiting staff, as long as their accents aren't too thick to be able to understand their descriptions of the food - which sadly in this case was a problem.
The Lincolnshire prawns were disappointing - not huge amounts of flavour (even when sucking the heads) and the only real disappointment.
I will be back to a hopefully more understandable waiter/ress.
Delicious food and excellent service. Staff knowledgeable and extremely helpful in our food and wine choices. Will definitely return!!!
Astonishingly delicious food. Let down by poor service.
I was underwhelmed and expected quite a bit more to be honest. The cocktails were delightful though.
Ottolenghi's latest restaurant is (another) hit. Their stated aim is to focus on vegetables and fermented food and they succeed at this. It's great to go with a group as most of the plates are designed to share (although dividing the celeriac shwarma between 3 was a tricky bit of cutting - between 2 would have been easier!). Good service, never ending bottles of still or sparkling water and not being too rushed just added to the overall experience.
Best meal we’ve ever had visiting London, by far! Will definitely recommend to all our friends and associates.
Fantastic all round!! Will visit everytime I get the chance!
Good first impression. The lady at the bar wasn’t overly friendly. But the cocktail she made was really good and our actual waitress was excellent. As was the food. We had a lovely time.
Great food, very good service, pleasant ambience - beautiful
Really disappointed, good place to hang out but food and service was poor.
Every mouthful was pure deliciousness but I recommend specially the lobster crumpet, tempura stems and herbs and hogget ribs. Going again very soon
Excellent food and enjoyable experience! Only negative points were that the service was somewhat rushed, one dish on the menu was unavailable, and the background noise level became a hindrance for nice conversation after 18:30-19:00.
If money no issue, recommend Rovi. Food delicious. Some dishes really expensive. Service attentive.
