Our newest restaurant in Fitzrovia is different to anything we've done in the past. The 85 seat restaurant serves a menu with vegetables at its heart but with a fresh focus on fermentation and cooking over fire. ROVI also features a large central bar with cocktails based on seasonal spices and house shrubs, and a dynamic low-intervention wine list from small producers.

We've teamed up with farmers who are passionate about growing great produce while respecting the environment. Fruit and vegetables will be come directly from biodynamic Brambletye in Sussex, and from Organiclea, a cooperative in East London.

In the center of the room is our bar which is reservable for guests dining with us over the age or 18, or 16 if accompanied by an adult. The rest of our seating is a mixture of standalone and communal tables which can be be converted into a semi private area for up to 10 to 12 guests. To host your event in this area please contact us directly.

Overall very positive. Nice ambiance and professional staff.
Barman (Andrea?) who took my order did ask me if there were food intolerance, so there was an issue when the food was delivered. The mixed vegetables were over-spiced, could not taste what vegetable I was eating and had to drink 2 bottles of water to drench my thirst.
+ The same barman wouldn't let me keep my glas when I wanted a refill of the same wine. Don't need his opinion.

Food and atmosphere was excellent. Service was a bit disappointing. We have been to Nopi before where service was much better, so expected a better overall experience. We still had a great time. Thanks

Really good. Great food - vegetarian dishes were the highlight - and the service was friendly and attentive. Lobster crumpet is a must-have, and the artichoke and tropea onion dishes are also outstanding. If anything, the vegetarian dishes outstrip the meat and seafood dishes for flavour. Will definitely be going back.

Inventive, lovingly crafted and exciting food - particularly the shrimp, the lobster crumpet, and the very excellent Jerusalem grill. The Gin Mare was outstanding and noteworthy. Unfortunately, service noticeably rushed us here and there, and truthfully, I wished they wouldn’t but I would still return/recommend ROVI.

Wonderful food but service not so much. The waiters were complaining about their colleagues. This made the atmosphere less pleasant. Food took 20 minutes to come. Although it was worth waiting for, it was a bit too long of a wait.

Not as good as other ottolenghi restaurants. We ordered 5 courses to share as recommended by our waitress + 1 dessert each and left hungry... lots of different flavours but nothing memorable. We paid £150 which was a lot for the small amount of food and quality.

Perhaps I didn’t make the best choices tonight. Before I have loved the food. Tonight everything ate greasy and salty. One particular miss was the Jerusalem Veggie plate. Cheep veggies, salty and slimy. Big bummer as I expected something elevated. Beef carpaccio was nice.

The food was the star. Atmosphere and service slightly less so. Wine list adequate but could have been easier to understand and perhaps a bit more explanation would have avoided a couple of surprises - one pleasant - one less so.

Overall more of a lunch place in my opinion, not quite up to scratch for dinner - especially the wine list.

The food was very good and classic Ottolenghi cooking, however the experience was let down by expensive overpriced wines and poor service.

Will give it another chance, but you cannot Charge premium prices without commensurate service and experience.

We were also chased off our table with twenty minutes to go before our two hours was up, irrespective of the fact it was obvious we had were ready to pay.

Not the experience I had booked for my friends and I sadly.

We absolutely love Ottolenghi food but we were really disappointed by ROVI. The restaurant itself is lovely with great decor and atmosphere. The food unfortunately just didn't live up to its potential and the bill was completely mad (I've had absolutely perfect meals for less).

All that said, we did really like the crab crumpet nibble, the celeriac shawarma, and the desserts, but every dish should have been a show stopper and they weren't. The pita breads as a side were delicious but the portion was almost comically small.

I can't in all honesty recommend this restaurant.

ROVI may have been our favorite restaurant in London. The celeriac shawarma is one of the best vegetarian dishes served anywhere in the world. The lambs ribs with black garlic and pomegranate – as well as the lobster crumpet – were beyond outstanding. And the meringue with lemon cubes, fennel seeds and lime sorbet was about as good as desserts get. ROVI is a one-of-a-kind restaurant from a truly one-of-a-kind chef, and if you haven't tried a Yotam Ottolenghi eatery, you should probably rush to do so.

I was dining alone at the bar, and noticed they gave a complimentary plate of butter beans to all clients; but they missed giving it to me. The bill indicates that they served a complementary plate of butter beans as well. Since I don’t really enjoy beans, I did not chase the staff, however as someone who have worked in a restaurant, I knew that it was an oversight and am not happy about it

The food was great - sad they were out of the tempura.
I do wish they were better about managing portions for groups over 2-3. You never know whether to order one or two or three of each dish and they are quite awkward to eat at times when you are trying to cut one Schwarma into five pieces? It would not be that hard to give better guidance on how many people naturally suit an order? Our server was the best. Absolutely helpful and adorable.

We enjoyed our visit to ROVI, the atmosphere was perfect for a relaxed evening out and the communal tables were less terrifying than they sound with lots of space between diners and comfortable to linger at. The service could have been better, my gluten allergy was not taken terribly seriously and twice sharing dishes that could have been gluten free were bought out containing gluten so I went without. The carrot jerky was superb, the burrata was fresh, but the raw courgette accompaniment was rather too contrasting and bland. We shared a halibut curry which was very nice but wildly priced-52 pounds for two and it was really only just over a single serving. My kombucha drink was perfect. Overall though the atmosphere made ROVI a nice dining experience.
