We've teamed up with farmers who are passionate about growing great produce while respecting the environment. Fruit and vegetables will be come directly from biodynamic Brambletye in Sussex, and from Organiclea, a cooperative in East London.
In the center of the room is our bar which is reservable for guests dining with us over the age or 18, or 16 if accompanied by an adult. The rest of our seating is a mixture of standalone and communal tables which can be be converted into a semi private area for up to 10 to 12 guests. Amazing food by Ottolenghi as usual. Different from his other restaurants. Every dish was superb in taste, only issue was the onglet skewers which were cold on serving (on a cold plate). Also we were booked for quarter to ten, as that’s the only time available, to be told that the kitchen closed at quarter past ten which was disappointing. The wine list prices are also on the high side however we were allowed to taste the wines first before selecting which was a nice touch. The service was great, particularly the Australian bar man who unfortunately I didn’t get his name. An unforgettable experience!
Great place. Menu is imaginative and the quality impressive. The food was not over-priced given the quality. Service was friendly and attentive, although our waiter probably had too many customers to serve at once. I'd happily return.
Amazing food taking you out of your comfort zone with new ferments and techniques. Great service and atmosphere. A little pricey but worth it for a special occasion.
Excellent and original food. We had 6 different dishes which were all of a proper size to share. Best tastes which we will remember are cellery shawarma, beetroot with limecream and the tempura. We paid 135 pounds for 6 dishes, 2 cocktails 2 deserts and coffee, we think this was a very fair price.
As fans of Ottolenghi 3 of us looked forward to the Rovi experience. Just was a little disappointed by the booking experience which emphasised the time we would have to leave above all else. I can’t see why a meal taken at 1800 should take less time than one at 2000.
Our table service was well informed and helpful. The food was excellent, especially the starter small plates. Main courses were very slow in arriving and the inflect steak brochettes were ordinary. Prawns were very good and the trout was also good, but almost raw. Because the service was so slow, we overran our leaving time by an hour and desserts, which were excellent were on the house.
£200 for 3 including wine but not desert was rather steep. Wine prices were excessive for a restaurant which is Ottolenghi, but not fine dining.
Great food as always but it would be good to have a bottle of wine under £30 :)

Outstanding is exactly the right word! Every dish was amazing - such lovely flavours in the Ottolenghi lineage. Great service, lovely place.
We went to Rovi spontaneously for a meal for two. We were sat at the bar, which I usually don't enjoy but the bar stools were actually pretty comfortable, and the barman was friendly but discreet, allowing us to enjoy our dinner without too much interruption.
Cocktails were ace, and food was outstanding. Not a particularly cheap evening out (we payed about £60 each for several dishes, a dessert, and two cocktails), but worth it for a once in a while treat...
Food and setting were great. Service excellent. Very imaginative and tasty vegan dishes. The only downside is the very over-priced wine list. Surely at least one or two under £30 should be possible.
Disappointing as a fan of Ottolenghi's cookbooks and other venues. Food wasn't great and quite unadventurous, and came very randomly with massive gaps. The interior of the restaurant leaves much to be desired, it is very cheap looking. Staff were fine but considering the price you are paying the overall experience could have been much better. Left feeling underwhelmed.

Exciting food made with creativity, a sense for packing flavour into dishes and great raw materials. Zingy, Levantine and wholesome. Interesting wine list and excellent, knowledgeable service. The bar looks interesting, too. Noise-wise, the locale was somewhat at the high end for me, but the positive buzz is undeniable.
Visitedwith a friend for lunch after seeing a positive write up and it lived up to expectations. A great place for some super healthy, tasty food.
I like Ottolenghi food and have been to several of his restaurants but this meal was even more delicious than expected and every dish lovely. The lobster crumpet was great, the miso salted fudge with coffee was intense and the cauliflower was rich and gorgeous. Massive flavours, lovely waitress, even the people next to us were friendly and happy too. This only happens in a good place where everybody's happy. Can't recommend highly enough.

Great food and an amazing atmosphere for a late Sunday lunch with friends. We ordered 9 dishes to share between 5 people and we simply couldn’t decide on our favourite. Only regret: not leaving any space for dessert.
Had a lovely lunch here on Sunday for my mum's birthday. I am a veggie so can be difficult to find a place that has good options, but the veggie list was extensive, creative and delicious. I also have a dad for a chef who can be extremely picky and even he was commenting on how great the food was. The staff were very professional, attentive and friendly, and really helped to set the tone for the meal. It is a lovely place for special occasions and would 100% go back again.

Cant get enough of Rovi right now, twice this week, once for comfort after a long break and again for a business meeting tomorrow.

Jerusalem grill hot chili peppers were too much as we expected them fermented as the rest of veggies- cough and tears was the result.
Excellent food and service, but also quite expensive, so I'd say average VFM - but that's to be expected I suppose

The celeriac shawarma was the best dish. The tempura a bit greasy. Food service was slow and then we were rushed off the table after 90 minutes for next booking.
Had read a review and decided to go to brunch, have eaten at Nopi but not tried ROVI before. Debloominlicious! Go on try it
A maître (maîtresse?) d’ who was charm personified and a waiter who sneered at neither my request for ice in my wine nor at my admission that I didn’t know what einkorn was made for a very pleasant evening. They were ably assisted by a tiramisù martini. But the food and drink...? We’re great fans of Ottolenghi and were excited to try Rovi. It was nice enough but lacked any “wow!” factor.
We ordered nine dishes and tried three different wines and three different cocktails. Two of the wines were underwhelming and steeply priced, one, a Ciu Ciu, was very good and bizarrely cheap.
Tempura stems were dreamy as was a celeriac shawarma; the confit mushrooms were too subtle for my taste (I would have sent them back) but my companion, a true sophisticate, adored them. Beef carpaccio was intimidated by the Jerusalem artichoke and cheese with which it was too generously covered. Prawns were delicious but seemed to be paying a visit from an entirely different restaurant.
I enjoyed the evening enough but wonder whether I wouldn’t have been happier at that other restaurant.
Wow! Only had vegetable dishes and did not miss the flavour of meat/fish etc.
What he does with vegetables and the accompanying sauces/garnishes is magic.
Cocktails amazing too. Desserts just as good too.
