The food was quite good but the atmosphere was lacking The service was indifferent .We asked for horseradish and it didn't arrive near the end of the meal the barman asked if all was ok I said no horseradish it still didn't appear then he blamed the other staff who was new
Had to ask for 4th chair. No real atmosphere.
No choice of beer. Service slow.
Some meals were poor or unavailable, eg steak & crumble.
Landlord kindly reduced the bill.
This was a pleasant pub to dine at. The service was very friendly and efficient. The menu was what you would expect from h a good selection. Food was presented well and was tastey.
