Spending over 20 years in the music business, Max had always dreamed of a place he could create that catered for his love of great food and also be a relaxed and enjoyable space with a great soundtrack.
He’s enlisted the help of long-term musical partner Simon Marlin who he enjoyed many years of success with under The Shapeshifters guise and launched in September 2016. With the boys long-term roots in West London it was always going to see Rubio begin its adventure close to home.
Been here several times. Went back for breakfast the next day.
Good music, good food. beautiful Café. Wold recommend this to a friend.
Friendly and relaxed atmosphere with a good selection of food, including for vegetarians and vegans.
Rubio is a great little place with amazing brunch food throughout the day and thin crust pizza in the evening. We went in the evening this time and caught the last live music session. It's really set up well for listening to music! So hopefully, as more people discover Rubio, they'll be able to resurrect this night.
Service was excellent and went the extra mile. Music policy seems to have changed and wasn’t keen as seemed to be a radio station. Food was great.
Have been to Rubio's a few times & always had a good night. a great neighbourhood restaurant & a live music venue too!
This cafe/retaurant is a great addition to the neighborhood - well run, relaxed but classy, with thoughful, well-executed dishes, a good range of drinks and always fine music.
Had a delicious starter and pizza here. Food was fresh and very tasty. Lovely place.. uber trendy.. digging the cool sounds of house music in the background... friendly staff.. will definately be coming back here again!
Good food, well priced, nice service and a great stylish restaurant.
