We look forward to serving you!

Tempura battered with spicy asian dressing
Our waiter Stephen was basically our spirit animal! The best date experienc I have ever had!
Excellent set up considering the circumstances, prompt response by waiters and management. Really hard working people and nice arrangement.
we have never been disappointed here..food and service is always exceptional
We always wanted to dine here but was always packed got the prefix lunch special yummy
The food was good and the service was excellent. It’s a great lunch spot.
Delicious food, great service and a beautiful atmosphere made for a fun brunch with friends!!! You are welcomed by fabulous and friendly hostesses at the door and the whole atmosphere is happy and bright!
The bread cones after the meal and the waiter ask all the time for something
Wonderful restaurant service was impeccable and the food was delicious. I had a great time with my guests and would go again.
Greeting was poor. We were ‘ordered’ to place our umbrellas in a stand. Not at all friendly. Waiter the same... no warmth, no smile. Beet salad very good. Salmon entree totally bland. $35. Salad was all lettuce and 2 shrimp. Desert cheesecake was literally 1/4 inch thick. The whole experience left us disgusted and this is a pricey place. I complained to the manager and she apologized... that’s it. No, please come back and give us another chance... or remove the charge for the absurd and pathetic salad. Walked out hungry and angry. NY prices with tourist level service and quality.
Food was delicious! Perfect for coworkers happy hour or after work dinner. Highly recommend the sushi!
We love Rue 57. We eat every time we arrive in New York, probably the last 20 times in a row. The cocktails, onion soup, sushi, salads, steaks, frites, and deserts are all great, as is the service, ambience, and value.
We were disappointed because in the past a few years ago now we loved the food and the service. There weren't even a lot of people there. We had to ask the waiter to fill our water twice and they seemed disorganized.
Such a disappointment. The pictures in the menu look delicious, but we found that the food was not good. Flavorless in fact.
Great meal. Great service.
Rue 57 is a classic location that is always worth a visit. Whether you are coming out of Central Park after an evening stroll or you are headed to an evening of captivating musical entertainment at Carnegie Hall, Rue 57 can quench your thirst with a beverage at the bar or fill you tummy with a lovely starter or one of main delights. Enjoy!
Unhappy that I’m choosing the risotto without the shrimp they were unwilling to reduce the price of the dish that included the shrimp. This sort of pettiness undermines the overall experience.
Great restaurant , always terrific service and amazing food.
Our go to place in ny city. Went with large group to celebrate bday
I hace a lactose intolerance (not alergy) I told the waiter and repeated it and when my dairy free meal apeared it came with a sauce on the side that had dairy.
They made a new one, but that can not happen
the rest was very good
Food is always delicious. Warm atmosphere
This was the 3rd time I had dinner there. All 3 times it was lovely. This time I was with my 91 year old mother. Everything was great. The hostess was lovely and our waitress as well. We loved the food. And even though they were filling up for dinner and we were taking our time with everything we did not feel rushed at all! Will be back for sure!
Rue 57 is a great, fun place for brunch or lunch. NY people-watching at it's best
The food is very good and the portions are huge...so think entre sharing unless you are a lumberjack.
Just an outstanding place for weekend brunch on every level.
Had brunch with friends on Sunday. The restaurant was quite crowded and the noise level was high. But the food was very good and service was fine. A great location for us as we were going to City Center afterwards. Recommend highly!
We always gave a delightful time here. And the food is always on point. Eugene was our server and he was so charming and engaging. A perfect Sunday brunch.
Food was great and the waiter was friendly and knowledgeable.
2 stars for this visit - did not meet expectations.
- we were seated promptly.
- the food tasted great.
- our server didn’t pay attention / didn’t provide the service level you would expect (e.g. didn’t ask if we prefer tap or bottled water, didn’t ask if our food was ok when we got it, didn’t check if we wanted refills for our drinks, etc.).
- my meal (eggs Benedict) was cold and my friend’s eggs (sunny side up) were not fully cooked through (egg white was still transparent and liquid).
Maybe our expectations were too high - we dined at the Plaza Hotel and Buddakan the day before. However, if I’m inviting a friend for a $120 birthday brunch, I should at least get warm, cooked food and a chance to have more than one round of drinks.
Excellent meal. Great, timely service. Entertaining waiter. Easy stroll to Lincoln Center. They know what to do to get you out with plenty of time to get to the performance. Will be back.
Good choice for mid-afternoon Saturday meal. Turkey & Cuban sandwiches were substantial. Desserts were less than stellar. but coffee was excellent. Service by our waiter was cordial, friendly & exceptional.
My husband and I had an excellent dinner at Rue57. It was in a great location, close to our hotel. Our meals were perfectly cooked, the waiter was pleasant, straightforward and personable. As with most NYC restaurants seating is tight but we both had plenty of room. We both left full and satisfied! Would recommend for dinner and drinks!
Great price fix levels menu. Ordering was a bit slow then everything was timely and tasty.
Excellent service, great menu, well prepared.
It had been years, since I had last eaten there. It was perfect!
Service was great, food was so good! Really cute spot for breakfast... coffee cups are huge, which is always charming for me!
We have been coming to your restaurant for years and have been very happy in the past. On this visit, I was shocked when I saw the size of my husband's entree salad. Not much there for $19 and he said the tomatoes were not fresh. My chicken noodle soup - a past favorite - was also quite small and lacked flavor and hardly any chicken. The yellowtail sashimi was sliced so thin I could barely even see it on the plate. Very disappointing.
Fantastic! Robinson is a great waiter and food is spot on. Have been many many times over the years. This past visit was partially good. Banquet seat, side-by-side seating with my wife. Loved brunch.
I was not impressed. Small portions of food that cost an arm and a leg, and on top of that the food doesn’t even taste that good. I will not be making a second visit. Would not recommend.
We were here on Valentine’s Day before going to see Josh Groban at Radio City. What I liked about this place was that while they did have a Valentines Day menu, they were also offering their regular menu. Most other place were only offering a limited Valentines Day menu, and that was ultimately why we chose to come here. The service was very good, the waiter worked with my friend to find a drink that wasn’t too sweet for her (I enjoy sweet drinks, but she doesn’t, and most if not all of their specialty cocktails are on the sweet side). The food was outstanding, I especially loved the Rice Tuna appetizer they offer, it’s so unique and delicious! We also had the chicken meatballs and popcorn shrimp, which were both delicious as well. The sirloin burger I ordered was cooked to a perfect medium as I requested, with just the right amount of Roquefort cheese on it. If you don’t like Roquefort cheese, they also offer you American, cheddar, and Swiss cheese. All told, I would come back to eat here anytime!
We did pre-theater dinner here. The fried shrimp and artichoke appetizers were pretty good, but the roast chicken was dry and the salmon was bland. Also, there are plenty of good $15 bottles of white wine to sell for $50 at a restaurant, but their Sauvignon blanc wasn’t one of them.
