Had a very nice time at Rumi last week for date night. The bar area had a nice atmosphere and they had great cocktails and wine list. The food was tasty we had the chicken wings and the sea bass for dinner which was amazing. I would go again forsure.

We really enjoy the food here. Never disappoints. The service is always good but we it was exceptionally great this time. Server was Angela I believe. We took family who was in town visiting and they enjoyed it as well. The ambiance is great but the music this night was so off. They must have played tears in heaven at least twice in the hour or so we were there. Kind of depressing, lol.
Not sure if the server was new but it can be better and we’ve had much better service in the past.

Ate at a Table in the Bar area for New Year's Eve. Two young couples stood by our Table with no Masks and were standing very close to us. We asked if they could move a bit or put a Mask on because we felt uncomfortable with how close they were. I went to the restroom and when I came back my Wife was crying because one of the guys called us Cocksuckers. They were no where to be found so I went to the front Desk to ask for a Manager. He came and we walked outside. Just didn't get a real warm fuzzy felling on how they handled it. He said he was sorry. Just was not a very nice way to end 2020. Just thought they could have done more. The Restaurant states that they are struggling due to Covid. Like most public places nowadays wear a damn mask.

Sat outside on the patio, it was beautiful with all of the Christmas lights Avalon had set up. The service was great, and the food was prepared surprisingly fast. Super tasty, and my Persian friends love it.

Rumi’s has s a great place to go during the pandemic. Excellent outside seating and we were kept more than comfortable with portable heaters. The staff is always pleasant and doesn’t rush you through the meal. I’ll definitely be back!

From the moment you enter , the ambiance and splendor make you feel as if you were elsewhere. The service was very good and the waitress new the menu very well and explained all the different menu items .

We requested to sit outside, the service was very good as always and food was great as well as well.
But the best part was the 4 strong heaters at 4 corners of our table!! Loved it!
Our server Juan was EXCEPTIONAL! Attentive, knowledgeable, funny, uninhibited with great advice! As usual Rumi’s was busy, but safe distancing was well adhered to! Ali has done very well with this location!
Juan suggested a (pounded) marinated chicken breast with lentil/raisin Basmati which is her new favorite! I on the other hand decided on the Lamb Shank with Dill/Fava rice. Even though really good, I think it’s over priced for that little amount of meat on the bone (at $3-$5 per shank, I would put 2 shanks on the plate for $28). Next time I will resort back to my fav the Lamb kebobs where for $2 more you receive a lot more meat (I end up taking leftovers home).
The Roth Pinot Noir was delectable. The badenjoun/keishk app was succulent... and even though stuffed, my wife took Juan’s suggestion for the Chocolate/Hazelnut dessert, which we gobbled up!

This was my first time going to Rumi’s Kitchen and it did not disappoint! My husband and I enjoyed an intimate and romantic dinner celebrating an anniversary. The manager actually read my request that I made when I make the reservations and he was very kind. Our waitress was attentive, gave wonderful recommendations, and was very pleasant. Our food and drinks were delicious. We will be coming back hopefully very soon.
While I really like the food, the restaurant is crammed with way too many tables (always has been), and there is no way to social distance from your neighbors. I won't go back.......it feels so unsafe during COVID. Absolutely no recognition of the need to separate the tables.
