Fantastic food, great service. We will definitely be coming back.
Amazing food, excellent service, great experience
We enjoyed our meal, the steak was excellent and this speciallity was what orginally led me to pick this for my steak loving sons birthday meal but on Sunday lunch time it was nearly empty so little atmosphere and the final bill for two courses and a few drinks was definitley at the expensive end of the spectrum so I can't really reccomend them for value. There was a much more reasonable set meal option available but we really went for the steak for a special occasion so that wasn't an option for us!
The food was delicious and a reasonably good value for a gentrifying neighborhood like Shoreditch, but despite being one of only 3-4 tables in an otherwise empty restaurant it took 20 min to get the check and otherwise each course was slow to reach the table.
Good food, but hard to understand the accent of the waitstaff. One of whom spoke really rally fast. Expensive but not extreme. So if you are nearby, check it out. I would not venture across the city to find it.
the whole experience was fantastic and i love their wine list
Very good Sunday roast, including a starter and/or cheese or dessert, and extra chorizo bites as appetiser.
Very good service with nice wine recommendation.
Would definitely go again for a meat fix.
Very nice restaurant, located in one of the best area for a night out with your friends. It is a bit pricy but the quality of the food was pretty good. The service was very welcoming, very efficient and polite.
I loved the wine cellar on the back! Very dramatic effect!!
I will definitely go back to try more basque delicatessen :)
Very sneaky staff that are much more concerned about increasing your bill size than giving honest suggestions (we were suggested 500-600 grams of meat per person!)
I have visited Sagardi in Barcelona many times and this one was therefore under a lot of pressure to deliver. It did and some. Great beef, great starters and the whole ambience was great.. top marks Sagardin..
Excellent food and exceptional service. Staff couldn't have been nicer! Really went out of their way to make the evening delightful.
The worst steak restaurant I’ve been to in London.
We ordered a 2005 wine and they served a 2010 and failed to tell us, we informed the waiter and he took 20% off despite the difference being more.
I sound bitter now but tragic restaurant, a complete comedy.
Quiet as mid week lunchtime but will definitely be back in the evening.
Great restaurant, with very interesting menu & fantastic service where the diners feel really special
Nice food, really good steak. But not the cheapest!
Delicious steaks accompanied by some great wine too!
Good food although you don't receive very much for your money.
The quality of the meat on offer, and the preparation, is excellent. There are some interesting choices on the menu. Also a very good wine list, particularly Spanish wines.
This was not my first time in a stake house. I do know that meat is king in this kind of restaurants but I'm not expecting to be forced to choose a particular dishe just because it is the best seller. The service was to rushed we were there to enjoy the moment and even that was difficult. The constant interruption and persistence to sell more became unpleasant. The meat was very good but to expensive. They will advise you to eat 500g of meat plus side dishes.
Food at his best as usual.
Thank you guys.
Easily the best steak I’ve ever had, outstanding food
Cibo ottimo, servizi eccellente. La miglior carne di Londra. Torneremo al 100%!
Always a great culinary experience here
Delicious morcilla and the beef quality is amazing. Highly recommended!
We had a perfectly enjoyable meal, starting with the prawn carpaccio and red tuna followed by "Txuleton Vaca" washed down with a bottle of temperino. Everything was fine, my only feeling was that it was overpriced for what it was. I'm glad I experienced what Sagardo had to offer but probably wouldn't return as I feel there's better mid-range dining out there for £100 a head.
Really good quality food and wine with a lovely atmosphere
The meat was outstanding. Great experience- will definitely return.
Fantastic steaks and great wines
Ottima carne alla griglia ed ottimo vino. Il tutto su consiglio del cameriere. Bravo!!
Excellent pintxos, tasty fish main courses, nice wines.
Getting hold of someone to order a glass of wine was slow a each time; no attention paid to the obviously empty glasses on our table.
Music was a whisker too loud, had to shout the conversation, especially so in the bar.
However, we are looking forward to returning to enjoy more of the pintxos, and the fabulous looking txuletón.
Excellent wine, good food but portions could be bigger, bit disappointed with rib for two bit small and not cheep
Food and service superb as usual.
Delicious food & wine! Excellent service and atmosphere. Friends and I ordered 11yearsold beef - fantastic!
The meats are excellent, and well prepared. Presentation of food was good and excellent service. Very good wine list, particularly the Spanish wines, from lesser known wineries. I will go back.
Thank you guys.
Great produced, well prepared - tastes amazing. Excellent attentive service and very good wine list. highly recommended
the food was amazing and they have a lovely wine list I was spoiled for choice
Confusing menu. Distinct lack of tapas. Meat was overpriced and cold (basically paid for a big chunk of bone). Sides arrived late. Had to ask three times for the bill. Overzealous waiters. £90 for starter and main for two persons. Only one side. Water to drink! I wouldn’t go back.
Sagardi is worth a try. There aged steaks look really impressive but it is an acquired taste. It reminded me a bit of South African soft Biltong.
Personally, I'd rather get an Argentine steak, seared and simply seasoned. More tasty and half the price.
The setting is sparse so you could definitely go with large groups and not be heard by you neighbours.
Wine list and staff - excellent.
