Card machine not working, so had to pay cash A number of items on menu not available ( we ate at 6.30pm) not the end of the evening. Service felt quite slow.

The food was as delicious as it always is, but one of our dishes arrived only after asking where it was. Every other time we've been, however, the service has been good, so I think this was just an isolated off day.

I've been here many times before, but it has progressively got more expensive, less choice on the menu, and the service was not good. One starter I ordered (Battered Squid with Chilli) was £2 more on the bill than is listed on the menu I couldn't be bothered to point it out, as just wanted to leave. The main I ordered (Sizzling Seafood) came at the same time as the starter....I didn't ask for this. Nobody came back to ask if everything was OK or if we wanted anything else, like another drink. Paper napkins weren't replaced after the starters. It's little things like this which can make the overall experience good or bad, unfortunately it was the latter today.

This is one of my favourite restaurants in Chiswick. Lovely atmosphere and great service. The meals are fairly large portions perfect for sharing and very delicious indeed.

We used to go regularly before the pandemic. Always had a wonderful experience, but we will not be returning. The food has lost its authenticity. The starters were ok, but the mains were messy, heavy with sauce and very small portion sizes. There is definitely a different chef. The flavours were more Chinese than Vietnamese.

Before the pandemic we used to go there a lot. This is our second try since and both times very disappointing. Food used to be delicate, now vulgar (though the salad rolls were still good). Over priced. Won't be going back.

The food never fails to disappoint! I took my children this time and they really enjoyed the flavours - especially the spring rolls and pork ribs. I went 'off -menu' with my tofu dish and there was no issues with adapting the dish to my preference. One of my favourite restaurants and will be returning again and again.

Slow initial seating and service. Starters were tasty but main dishes really underwhelming. Not nearly as good as a previous visit. Bubble tea tasted like it was out of a packet. Won’t be coming again.

Very disappointing visit. The restaurant had a cosy interior but the rest… We asked for the drinks menu. They did not understand. We explained and they gave us the cocktail menu and we ordered a cocktail each. We were informed that we needed to order THE SAME DRINK! We ordered two Pina Coladas. At the same time we placed our orders from the A la Carte Menu. As starters we ordered one “Chargrilled prawn meat wrapped around sugar cane” and one “Chargrilled marinated chicken satay” and for main courses “One Stir fried prawns with chilli, garlic and lemon grass” and one “Prawn curry with okra, aubergine and sweet basil”. We also ordered one “Egg fried rice”. To accompany our dinner we ordered a bottle of white Chenin Blanc from South Africa as there were no good wine to match the food. To our astonishment we got our Pina Coladas long after our starters albeit the fact that we had ordered wine to go with the food! The drinks were nicely presented but there was no alcohol in them and we suspect the so called Cocktails came from a ready mix. We had to send out the starters as we waned to have our cocktails first. When we had the starters they were lukewarm and not tasty. Probably just “warmed up” from a ready made dish. We did not finish them. Despite this no one asked why! Unfortunately the main dishes were so unappetizing so we just asked for the bill and left it all on the table. No staff were seen apart from when serving the dishes and when we were paying. They realised that we were not happy and reduced the bill slightly. To summon it up this was one of the worst meals ever and we travel substantially all over the world.

Having eaten at Saigon Saigon in the past, I had high expectations. The food was just not good enough. The place was mostly empty, which in the past would never have been the case on a Sunday lunchtime. Very disappointing.

We would have appreciated it if we hadn’t been given the bill without having asked for it. It didn’t become clear whether the restaurant was closing or they wanted to speed up our exit. The food was good, the service could have been better but was decent.

The food is always good and the service was very efficient. A shame that the sizzling platters served to other tables made the entire restaurant fill up with smoke resulting in the fans being turned on and the door opened on what was a cold evening.

Restaurant is a little grubby. The food was nice but very rushed. We had not finished our starter when they dumped the mains onto the table. We said we weren’t ready but they just left the dishes. They did not offer a desert & we struggled to find someone to pay the bill. Would not bother going again

The restaurant has a good atmosphere and the service was good. All food looks lovely Unfortunately our food was average at best. The duck was very very tough, and not great at all...and the squid was also super chewy. Maybe it was our unlucky day... but I would hesitate to recommend eating here .

Friendly, excellent vietnamese food in a quiet and well presented dining room, music not too loud, staff and waiters very friendly and helpful. Would go there again. Perhaps a touch on the oricy side but good value nonetheless.

Excellent food, but the service could have been better. Had to ask several times to get the rice we'd ordered along with our main dishes, we'd basically finished everything by the time it arrived! Will definitely be back to try again though.

We had lunch at Saigon Saigon on a Sunday afternoon. It was relaxing and not too busy. The service was very friendly and efficient. The food was outstanding! Good portions and delicious flavours! We had the meatballs and summer rolls for starters, then shaking (sizzling) beef and fried crispy seabass for our main dishes. I ordered rice but barely touched it because I was too full. Everything was prepared beautifully! We would definitely go again.

We arrived few min late and was greeted well. Table choice was not excellent even if there was plenty of tables available. Ordered three starters which was in terms of taste just ok, nothing exceptional. We also ordered the mains, which was Pan fried seabass and Sizzling Sea food. I am afraid the service and quality dropped significantly. Main dish took long time and when it arrived it was all over the place. I got my Sizzling sea food but no rice for another 5-10 min and the Sea bass was just cold. What made it worse was their reaction, doubting that the food was cold (please note they did challenge by saying the plate is warm). If customer complain you listen and make it right. In summary i feel the service was below par (the guy had a great approach) but they just failed to deliver and food taste was just average or good. There is no reason to rush and book yourself for this place.
