Great selection of dishes and Sake and Japanese whisky. A little one-note in flavors on some of the dishes but the quality of the food is undeniably good and its delicious. Try the Fire grilled Tenderstem broccoli - I think I could live on that for life!

Everything we tried from the menu was incredibly tasty and well prepared. The sake flights are a definite must for anyone visiting. Unfortunately the service was some of the worst I’ve experienced. Three times my partner had to leave the table to bring someone over to help us, take our order, and bring our bill because we couldn’t get anyone to stop as they passed our table.

Food was very good with a huge list of sake. It was at the higher end of sushi restaurant prices but I thought the food was excellent overall, especially the dragon roll and tempura. Only disappointing thing was the service which from one or two of the waiters felt a little indifferent, for the price I would expect much more attentive service.

The food was very poor for the high price, there are far better sushi restaurants in London. Felt very disappointed by this place. Wouldn’t recommend and certainly won’t be back.

Me and my boyfriend came to eat here for NYE and it was amazing.
We started off by the bar for some cocktails, which were delicious, the bartenders really knew their stuff!

We were then taken to the table, a little small but the manager added another with out us even asking. The staff were all very attentive without being overbearing and allowed us to order as we wented, which was a massive plus for us as we wanted to try lots of different things.

The sushi was definitely the star of the show, everything was so fresh and full of flavour. If I had to be picky I would say that the king prawn tempura was not the best, the batter wasn't great but everything else was worth every penny.

We then ordered the matcha tirimisu... Oh my! We ordered one to share but could of eaten 2 each, it was superb!
The bottle of Grillo we ordered matched everything perfectly.

We will definitely be returning when we come back to London. Thank you to all the staff for making our nye so special.

What a great find close to Soho. The food was very good, we had sashimi which was so fresh and the tuna melted in your mouth. We were also lucky to be there for cocktail happy hour and the drinks were amazing with lots of attention to detail. We will be back!

Nicely decorated Japanese restaurant tucked away in a quite side road. I choose the Sushi omakase, which was quite alright and the Australian Wague (with Kimchi and Japanese fries) to be prepared by myself on a hot stone arranged on my table. Meat quality was excellent, the little barbeque on the table good fun. Foodwise it was what could be expected in that location and price range. Non-alcoholic cocktails were excellent. Service was nice, but my (very young) waiter seemed to merely be a trainee and had a tough accent, barely understandable. Not among the top end of Japanese places in London, yet in all a restaurant I would be happy to visit again for lunch.

Food and cocktails both great. The service let it down slightly as it was so slow and we had to chase up our first drinks, which took 20 minutes to arrive (they were not busy at this point)! And some items missing from the menu, which was a shame- if there's something you want in particular, I'd call ahead. If these 2 things were fixed, it would get a 5. Really good happy hour (5-7pm) for proper, grown-up cocktails.

This was my first time at Sakagura and as someone who's usually weary of sushi in London I can say I was very impressed with the quality of food from Sakagura. We ordered edamame, silken tofu, tempura, pork belly, vegetable skewers, tuna and salmon sashimi, Japanese wagyu beef bento box and tiramisu and matcha cheesecake for dessert.

While the food was fantastic I think what really made the experience spectacular was the service. Food was served promptly, the recommendations were helpful and the food was brought out in a coordinated manner (cold starters arrived first, then warm starters, then sashimi, followed by the bento box).

I've already recommended Sakagura to my friends.

The one thing that would have made the environment better was if we weren't sat next to a noisy table that was just separated by the wooden frame. Although there was separation of tables, because it was just a frame that was separating us I still felt completely part of the next table's conversation and felt like my dining experience could have been more private.

The European woman with short hair was so rude also had absolutely no professionality, argued and ignored several times when we called her to order. Waited 30 minutes served the Sake without any explanation as well as the other foods. Can't imagine needs wait 30 minutes for any orders. Never come back here. Waisted 250pounds for two.

Very good food. everyone enjoyed it and we had a mix of Sushi, tempenyaki, and other assorted Japanese foods. We had Sake and wine as well. The desserts were unusual SoySauce ice cream with caramel (think salted caramel) and other interesting flavours. Prices were OK but the Soft Shell Crab was a bit bland.

The only downside was service. It was abysmal. I had to ask twice for missing dishes. It's not that it was busy either. At one point there was 6 waiters and 10 customers and I had to ask twice to have my order taken and then when no drinks arrived and i enquired it was because my waitress was on her break ... there were literally 4 staff standing around doing nothing.

It's not often I consider withdrawing the automatic Service Charge but they honestly did nothing to deserve a Service Charge. I think more restaurants need people to reject this otherwise this will end up like the USA where people think it's automatic.

Food good but I'd think twice about coming back.

We dined here on a 50% discount offer from Time Out which was fortunate as I would have been very unhappy if we had paid full price. Extremely overpriced, sushi had strong taste of vinegar and for £15 had masses of rice and not much filling. The yakitori was better but again grossly overpriced, a tiny bit of pork on a stick for £5 is ridiculous no matter how it tastes.
