A good ambience and very near to the theatre. Service and food were very good. Altogether a very pleasant evening. Dined here several times before and would definitely recommend it.
Great meal, only slightly spoilt by a rare steak that was rather over cooked and the worse for the experience ! Asparagus to die for !
Truely superb for at a beautifully appointed gem of a hotel on the seafront :)
Although described as a Bistro and Bar, the Samphire is clearly the bar and restaurant of the hotel. However, that shouldn't put people off - the atmosphere was relaxed, the staff were welcoming and attentive and the food was very good. Another great find and well worth a visit
A warm welcome, Lovely restaurant , well staffed so attentive service. ate there for a birthday meal and so they gave a special mention to this. Highly recommended. 10/10
The food was very poor, had to send main meal back, a couple at a table near us sent theirs back too! very disappointed considering the comments on trip advisor!
Very tired decor.
On the positive side the servicing Staff were very helpful and friendly
Excellent food and good service. Would recommend especially prior to Theatre next door.
Excellent food. Everything was fresh, full of flavour and good to look at. We will be back
Beautiful food & excellent service. My steak was delicious. Lovely dining room & very close to the Theatre.
Pre theatre so very quiet.very good food and excellent service
The food was excellent until the desert. The desert was disappointing because they just cut a slab of dried bread and butter pudding and stuck it on a plate. The first 2 courses were given much more thought.
We dined here on three consecutive evenings prior to the operas being performed by WNO at Venue Cymru this month. This enabled us to sample several options on the varied menu all of which were interestingly presented and very delicious. Service was slick and extremely professional - we were never caused a moments anxiety about getting to the opera in good time. Location is unsurpassed for this purpose being right next door to Venue Cymru. The emphasis here is on seafood, but there are several alternatives as can be seen from the online menu. This is a relatively new venture for the Cae Mor Hotel, and one that has everything it takes to ensure a successful enterprise.
Service is superb...lovely smiling waitress and made most welcome. Food is really very good but hope the proposed monthly change of menu happens. Good value wine and a lovely evening. Thank you
Food was well presented and service was excellent. Restaurant commanded a lovely view of the promenade.
Well catered for “fussy” 94 years old!
Birthday girl of 93 loved her food.
Thank you to all the team for another superb evening, great food, drink and service.
A very attentive staff, good food, a little pricey, but a nice ambience. My only criticism was that the main meal came immediately after the starter and there was no time to draw breath. an enjoyable experience.
I visited on Saturday evening with my sister.
The service was excellent, food superb- we both had red snapper which was gorgeous, wine was lovely and we will definitely book again!
Well done- what a great dining experience!
I had the pleasure of bringing my mother here for Mother's Day on 11th March 2018.
It was a privilege to eat here for their first day of opening.
The restaurant is situated within the Hotel, with the tables positioned cleverly in order to view the sea from wherever you are sitting.
We were treated like Royalty on arrival, offered a complementary glass of Prosecco and seated near the bar. We were shown to our table by Chris, who was professional, well mannered and made us feel extremely welcome.
The owners Mark and Sheryl Viercant take great pride in their business and it was wonderful to meet them. It was so nice to see them being visible at Front of House, serving the food, interacting with us and other customers.
The food was exceptional, beautifully presented and superb value for money. The portion sizes were large and well presented.
Watch out for the name Paul Clifford because this talented young Chef, will go far because of his superb flare and expertise in his food presentation.
This new restaurant deserves the recognition, as one of the best I've ever eaten it.
I most certainly will be visiting here again with my family and friends and will be recommending this well run establishment to many.
Thank you so much for a most enjoyable time spent with you, especially the beautiful orchids that you presented us with at the end of our meal.
Very Best Wishes
