Absolutely my favourite Italian neighborhood restaurant-- we have been visiting since the lockdown for socially-distanced dine-in meals and takeaway. The owner and staff always remember us and have great recommendations for menu selections. Also their menu changes everyday so there's always something new and exciting to try.
Burrata and palma ham was a joy to eat
Thank you for having us. We had a wonderful time. The place is elegant and the food is authentic and lovely.
Very very good italian food! Superb!!!
The waiters are always prompt and really kind. They have always described perfectly each plate!
But San Pietro has really above all a great ratio Quality/Price!
Sea bass fish and shellfish dish, lovely typically Italian restaurant. Lighting could be better.
A secret gem hidden in the back streets of Kensington. Authentic Italian food served with finesse by friendly and knowledgeable wait staff. We will be back!
We had a great waiter!! Super helpful with dietary requirements and good knowledge of wine!
excellently cooked, presented and served Italian food of a high standard
Delicious and authentic Italian food with a specialty in seafood. Good wine list and great service. Highly recommended
Perfect in every way - delicious food and great service
Friendly waiter, great ambiance and decor. Perfect food.
Fantastic - love this restaurant. Sea bass dish was amazing
L Italie dans toute sa splendeur!
Great local restaurant - enjoyed eating at the stools at the window on the last day of summer !
In spite my booking and asking for a table on the terrasse, the staff gave my table away to a walk in customer leading us to be inside.
COVID rules were not adequately followed: mask under the nose, paper menus when QR codes were available, no effort to keep distances while tending tables.
As usual the food was excellent
The waiter was problematic: he has been this way every time we have his service: nervous, negative energy, no hospitality , arrogant. He should not be there if he makes you feel unwelcome, attitude is king.
The chef is a wonderful caring giving person, proud to treat customers with friendly respectful attitude which unfortunately does get ruined by the head waiter’s negativity .
We waited 50 min before we were served our wine. They need
more staff as they were very busy.
Lovely local restaurant. The food was delicious and just overall, it has a warm and friendly feel about it.
Delicious food, great wine. Tiramisu cannot be missed.
Stunning food large portions and amazing staff- my gem of a local, ssshhh!!
Authentic Italian that specialises in fish. All the dishes, whether seafood based or not were excellent, service was fantastic and will happily go again
What a great find! Small intimate restaurant away from the hustle and bustle of Kensington high st.
Food was DELICIOUS
service was EXCELLENT
Will definitely go back!
Simply put the food was awful, tasted like the actual chefs are still away and freezer is being emptied, bland saltimbocca and double portions, too much.
We’ve eaten here several times and always good. But, last night food was not good. Both sick all evening. Bye
Wonderful and attentive staff. Food was excellent with generous portions. Well thought through CV19 procedures. A bit expensive but worth it for the food and surroundings.
Good but not as good as previous times. Maybe they have to get back to the old routine in the kitchen.
Very nice evening. Food and service excellent. Starter of octopus was fantastic! Would have been fabulous at half the size 😂.
We really enjoyed our night.
Always amazing food.
Everything was great! Friendly service. Maybe a tad on the expensive side for the wine, but we were happy with it.
I enjoyed my meal here with the carpaccio of sea bream and snapper as a main course. A small restaurant which packs a bang.
A really lovely restaurant to treat my 16 year old daughter on her birthday.
We had a nice evening with ups and downs as there’s is always something to blame for however we focused on the nice atmosphere. We had a good laugh and made fun on the things that went wrong. Well done to the team members for creating a pleasant ambience.
This was not a very lucky visit for us. Probably it was a bad day for the restaurant but we won't rush to come back. There was a big party downstairs and may be that was the reason for a lack of service but the food was not that great either, the starter with octopus was just bad, the main course was OK but for that price it should be great not just OK... We were so looking forward to try this restaurant as it's our nearest local place and it would be great to come for dinner every now and then but no, no wish to come back soon.
Fantastic environment and food. I strongly recommend
Delicious pizza and spaghetti vongole
Our first experience was fantastic but not unfortunately on this occasion. Friendly and attentive service but our bread was straight out of a fridge and frosty cold, our dishes were delayed as the order was lost (must mention we were offered money off which was the right thing to do) and our dishes were plied heavily with salt. Seafood generally very fresh and well portioned but my sea bream was completely overwhelmed by large quantities of salt thrown on to the plate. Ambience good but the little touches were lacking. Warm bread, good olive oil... The aubergine parmigiana was fantastic.
We were treated as inferior customers due to being younger than the other people dining, the waiters ignored us mostly and were rude, the food was fairly bland as well as taking a long time to arrive.
Great food- love the little snacks and the grilled squid is sublime. So fresh. Service friendly and accommodating with good wine recommendations.
One of our favourites. Unfortunately on this occasion they didn’t have the wine we selected from the menu and we weren’t served bread. However the restaurant remains excellent and the fish is simply superb.
We have been disappointed by the lack of consistency in the quality of food : sea bass was delicious but the sea bream was overcooked as well as the kale swimming in butter, the semi fresco was tasty but the Eton mess a disappointment, 4 little pieces of strawberries among a white mass . The ambiance is good but the tables are too close to each other .
