Fantastic food, full of flavour. Small restaurant with lots of character, friendly staff and best off, interesting menu with regional specialities.

Food was really tasty with some of the authentic Punjabi cuisines.
My wife loved the goat meat which is not easily available.
I am vegetarian and there were really good Indian vegetarian options.
Would easily recommend to try once.
Was served well!
Thanks

I signed up to Open Table thinking this would get me a table and be reconised on entry to the restaurant.
Even after telephoning to confirm my reservation because i wasn't convinced the internet reservation was good. Admittedly i forgot to say on the internet form; this was a 76 year old birthday, but I did on the telephone call to confirm my reservation say this was for a 76 year old.
Maybe because the restaurant was empty, save for a family with a boy child roaming the restaurant. However, on entry i told them my name but it was not reconised as previously booked. The comment was "Plenty of room tonight we aren't too busy".
I did not need to know that, in fact it made my visit less important, and for that i was less than happy as well as the male child trying to touch our food and running between tables.
I left no tip as a result but just got out of there taking my bottle of undrunk wine with me.

Beautifully authentic, charming atmosphere, courteous staff. Meal was delicious.
Only disappointment was the Paneer Pakora- very dry and hard when it's actually meant to be crisp from the outside and soft from the inside. However despite this, the rest of the meal was well prepared and enjoyable.

Having booked on open table, we arrived at the restaurant for them to tell us they had not received the reservation and that our booking confirmation meant nothing. Unfortunately, a table was available and so we were seated in the cold, stoney restaurant.

We ordered a mix of dishes, some were reasonable, however the meat was all terrible. The lamb biryani was raw, and so was sent back, all of the chicken was dry, tasteless and stringy, like it had been frozen and reheated a few times. We complained at the end of the meal, with the waiter being very courteous and helpful. However, someone came from the kitchen to speak to us, and proceeded to argue with us, a group of Indian customers at his restaurant, about how we didn't know how the food should be. This rude behaviour soured what was already a disappointing evening, and we will not be returning to the restaurant again.
