All in all quiet good! Menu fairly standard . Quality if bread was just ok.
Friendly and accommodating, nicely varied menu
Amazing, as always! Perfect, as always! Delicious, as always!
What a find in the area for lunch. A dining experience that feels special. Patio outside or dine in. Wait staff very attentive. So many choices, soup, salads(delicious), homemade pasta (special with shrimp, yum), to sandwiches. Save room for coffee and dessert (Delicate cookies to slivers of delicious cake) I would go back!!!
First time at the Brookfield location. Food was excellent and the outdoor space was lovely.
Went for late diner after graduation; 9:30pm reservation for family of four. The ambiance of the place was suitable for a formal affair and most other restaurant guests were dressed formal as well. Disappointed with the quality of food. Greens were just piled on top of the beef carpaccio untrimmed; artichokes in a salad tasted like they came from a can; tomatoes were greenish. I know pasta was supposed to be al dente, but mine was undercooked to the point that it was hard to chew. I would have returned the dish but I didn’t want to spoil the celebration for my family. Wine was only poured when the bottle was opened, we then served ourselves. We will not return. Definitely overpriced for the quality of food.
They don't honor on time reservations. It is overpriced. The service is terrible. My friend and I had to ask for everything two or three times. The drinks took 40 minutes to appear and the food 50 minutes. The artichoke salad barely had any artichoke in it. The side of salmon was so small that had I sneezed it would have flown off my plate. A glass shattered right by our table, the shards hit my bare legs, and while the staff was apologetic, there was zero effort on the part of the manager to compensate us for any of the shortcomings. I will not go back. Ciao!
This was our first time eating outdoors at Sant Ambroeus. It was a great experience. There is nowhere else you can dine and be right across the street from One World Trade and see all the way to the top. We were also looking out over the 9-11 Memorial and its open space, with other iconic buildings in view. It was also relatively quiet for being so close to the busy, multilane West Street.
Sant Ambroeus is expensive, but it’s a great experience, whether you’re eating indoors or out.
Nice place, nice people, good service and nice wine
This was my first time dining at Sant Ambroeus, and it certainly won’t be the last. Our experience was lovely from start to finish. The food was delicious, our server helped us make a great wine choice, and the entire staff was attentive and welcoming. I will highly recommend you to anyone looking for a great place to eat downtown. And I’ll make sure to offer it as a dining suggestion to the visitors I meet doing my volunteer work at the 9/11 Memorial and Museum.
Beautiful setting and excellent service. The mushroom gnocchi was our favorite, as well as a excellent salad.
A memorable experience!
Huge fans of Rob McKinley and we were beyond impressed by the high level of architectural detail and design. The custom chandeliers worth a visit alone. That being said it was also a delectable Milanese culinary experience! Very romantic and royal service.
Great ambience and Branzino - soup and pasta served bit on cold side.
The dining experience was truly amazing. The food was delicious, and the service was impeccable.
Sat on the outdoor patio on a beautiful night. Service was attentive and prompt, food was spaced nicely as well. As for the food, all was delicious, from the tuna tartare, the pasta and the fish. The dover sole and the branzino were both cooked perfectly and delightful. Will be returning!
Lovely looking restaurant with very good Italian food and good service, but very expensive.
Exceptional Milanese style, elegance, and service...and the food is simply the best of Italian fare. Love this restaurant!
Service was great, food was delicious. Cannot complaint! Will be back!
Love this place. Gorgeous and delivious.
The atmosphere is - as with all of their locations - lovely. The food was delicious (I had the carciofi salad and my dining companion had the rigatoni, which was perfectly al debate.) my only complaint is that there were 3 people waiting on 5 tables, and we still had to ask fir the check 3 times and waited over 20 minutes to get it. Once it arrived, those two dishes plus one bottle of San Pellegrino was $72 before tip. I’ll go back, but with lower expectations.
Love this place, brand new and gorgeous. Food and service is top notch, highly recommend.
Since it opened i have been here half a dozen times and it’s always been great! So happy it finally opened.
loved it! great food! would go there again
This is a beautiful space. The food at all of the Sant Ambroues locations is terrific, and this new lovely restaurant will be a favorite of ours!
Food is ok. Service could be better
The food wasn’t as fresh as I expected it would be.
Beautiful decor and delicious meals! Will return
Delicious fresh Italian food. Lovely staff. Like a trip to Milan for lunch.
The Brookfield Place location of St. Ambroes is lovely and the service was very good. The food is on par with all of the other locations we've been and we really enjoy the food.
Everything was absolutely great service was excellent the wine was great the food was great dessert was wonderful and it was great company will be coming back soon
way too many people fussing around on arrival asking us if we had a reservation. just felt like they were trying to be overly formal but was not seamless and somewhaf comical. otherwise the food and wine is great although I prefer the atmosphere at the one on Madison this was a bit too bright and nee looking for my taste.
It was my birthday and the place gifted me with one of the best, if not the best, lasagna I’ve ever had. Our waitress was unobstrusively attentive and gave us wonderful impeccable service . It was Sunday , hence families having their brunch /lunch with children was abundant. That being said , unwanted noise and chaos I’ve found was at a minimum. Lest I forget, the prosciutto was also excellent. It was La dolce vita for me and my wife , for the time we were there.
Great place, amazing food and service!
Make sure to ask for the waiter Will he’s the best!!
A lovely meal in a beautiful space with great service. Sant Ambroeus is a welcome addition to the neighborhood and this new location is every bit as chic and wonderful as the others. Can’t wait to return!
Nice interior with comfy seats. Very good service, tasty and delicious tiramisu. Sadly, my husband didn’t like his carbonara and the tuna tartare which we had as a starter was so bland. I would come back for coffee and desert.
Great place to dine. Desserts are amazing!
The flagship of one of our favorite restaurants. Spectacular setting, world class food. Quality is off the charts.
