With this in mind, from the very beginning, SANTI set out to replicate as closely as possible the experience of a Ristorante Pizzeria that you might find anywhere in Italy.
A relaxing and comfortable environment, great wine, exceptional food and a service to match. No expense spared in ingredients and no corner cut in preparing everything just right.
Our first restaurant opened in East Village – former Athlete’s Village of the London 2012 Olympic Games – in July 2016 to rave reviews from the local community.
In April 2018 we opened our second location in the heart of Watford town centre.

Restaurant was freezing cold customers were sitting in their coats which doesn’t make for an enjoyable experience
Great food, quick service, friendly staff! Don’t be deceived by the fact it looks very quiet as a great place for some authentic Italian food in Watford.
The restaurant itself was lovely with a relaxing atmosphere. Staff were attentive and quick. The food however was really quite bland. I would have expected the bread to come with some oil and the olive were smothered in herbs. I had the veal which was surprisingly tasteless. The Calamari was soggy with the batter falling off.
Very good value lunchtime 2 course menu. Large starters and plentiful mains. Tiramisu and coffees good too. Well worth the minute walk up from Intu, cinema and theatre. Nice decoration and would make a great evening venue for couples, families and groups of friends.
Nice place. Waiters friendly. Pizza Calzoni flat! Cold meat starter wafer thin and poor quantity, average quality. Main : mixed seafood linguine had an undressed plain pasta (no olive oil garlic wine Etc.) a njce king prawn and a few shellfish but bland and plain. Nothing to blow you away and make you want to return. Shame because the area really needs a good Italian.
Another lovely visit to this fabulous restaurant - this time for an 80th birthday celebration. We had a quiet table and enjoyed a thoroughly good evening of great service, great food and a lovely, atmosphere. We'll definitely be back again soon.
Family trip to Harry Potter
I thought that we would try one of the new independents in Watford but we are unlikely to return. Pizza Express offers better quality and value.
Very accommodating, Lovely staff, great food. Will return again
The restaurant itself was lovely.. and the food was really really nice!! The staff were kind enough.. but they hung around behind the table watching your every move and asking if it was ok every time you put your cutlery down which was very off putting and annoying
We had a group booking and the feedback from the party was mixed, I personally enjoyed my dishes and we all found the portion sizes very generous. A couple of other people did not enjoy their dishes as much & said their dishes did not have much flavour. The service was a little slow and dishes were not very hot when they arrived but the staff were very nice and the food was reasonably priced.
We came with recommendation and for a family meal. Excellent food, cocktails and service. Quiet enough to have a comfortable conversation. Would definitely go again.
Our first visit (recommended by a friend) Beautiful setting. Food was delicious and plentiful. Service was good and reasonably priced.
Great food, excellent service and value for money. I would recommend Santi for everyone who like Italian food
We all enjoyed the Food and my US business associates were happy.
Sea food pasta missing the squid.
Tasteless quattro formaggi
Waiters pouring wine in glasses continuasly and asking if more wine wanted
I went there with my friends for my birthday party. It was three of us. I booked a table online. Restaurant is nice, but you wouldn't say it's italian. I didn't find anything related to Italy there. I ordered a prawn coctail it tasted like mustard but I though it was the taste. My friends ordered bruschetta and it seemed there is no pepper, salt, olive. Just bread and plain potato. After serve waiter came over and asked if we wish to have some salt and pepper or maybe some parmesan. A bit weird for me. Than we carried into main course. I ordered calzone which unfortunately was half cooked, Waiter were happy to exchange for new one. New one was much better than previous but not the best one, calzone was so dry and seemed there is no salt at all. Plain taste. Prices are ok like for restaurant everyone can afford it but I think are better restaurants in Watford.
Great food and lovely service here for our first visit. Will definitely return.
Loved the food and the service was exceptional. Would love a Santo near us in Essex! Perhaps we will visit the Stratford one.
Recently chose to go here as heard a good review and my friend and I were not disappointed. Good value, nice surroundings, attentive staff made this a really nice evening. My seafood linguine was delicious! Definitely recommend this restaurant.
A truly wonderful italian restaurant with great srrvice and fantastic food. All the ingredients are fresh. Loads of options between pizza, pasta and meat. One of thr finest italian restuarants I've eaten at!
