   We’d had a takeaway from Santino recently, and it was excellent, so we made an effort to attend in person. The restaurant wasn’t busy, plenty of staff - but we were there over an hour and had only had our starters. The service was incredibly slow, we waited way longer than normal between courses and even waiting on drinks being served was pretty slow. Not somewhere to visit if you’re in a hurry!

   Food was good - garlic pizza bread totally amazing! Friendly and attentive service. Will 100% be going back here.

   Food was nice, nice looking restaurant too. However staff were really slow to take orders and seemed more concerned cleaning empty tables than attending to customers. Waited a very long time to order drinks and food. Reasonably priced as well

   Hi Keiran, we apologise that you waited too long to receive an order, especially when there are staff in your vicinity. At Santino we aim to create a relaxed atmosphere, and we do not want to make any customers feel rushed, especially later on in the night, as I am aware that restaurants often have this complaint. We want to give all of our guests the adequate time to review our menu, including our wine and cocktail list before they order so that they can have the best and most personal experience possible. We also understand that some people appreciate a different kind of experience, therefore we apologise for the wait time that you experienced on Saturday night.    Customer service was excellent all staff were very attentive and friendly. Menu has a good choice and excellent value. Restaurant has a great ambience. Food was good quality and with lots of flavour and plenty of options on Wine menu. Will be very happy to return in the near future.

   Lovely restaurant with nice and friendly staff. Food is very good value for money. Didn’t find the pasta dish overly good but the pizzas were very nice and tasty. Not the first time dining here and would return again.

   Having not realised anchovies are part of a standard Cesar salad, I was surprised by these additions. Had I known, I would’ve ordered something else. Left half the food as everything was covered in anchovies oil. Would’ve been absolutely lovely if I loved fish lol

   Experience wasn’t great when lift was out of order to cater for a disabled, elderly, grandmother. No other way for a disabled person to use this restaurant due to the only facility being out of order (and a large tv and box sitting at the bottom of it, viewed when going to the accessible toilets). Food experience, servers were great and helped to ensure our dinner was to our satisfaction. Starters were okay. The starters were either sauce or spice related to being okay and not something we’d order again. But that is taste wise for us and probably not the chef and the menu. Mains were good and warm to eat, alongside a nice side order. Drinks were good and asked if we wanted more or any accompanying items throughout. Overall, I believe the service was good, the food okay, ambience was fine. Not busy for a Tuesday. Thank you.
