For my last dinner out before the shutdown it had to be Satori trattoria.
Amazing place....service and food was excellent. Super caring about their customers. Best italian restaurant in the city!
First rate in every regard. Service professional, knowledgable and friendly; food tasty and large portions; quiet enough and had a neighborhood feel.
We went back because the owner sent us a handwritten note and gift certificate after we left a feedback card which was a very nice gesture! Food is great and big portion sizes for the price. Live jazz on Tuesdays was nice and not too loud.
We loved the food and the service here! It may seem expensive but the portions are very generous! And a $10 cooking fee makes it very worth it to bring your own bottle of wine. The only thing we didn’t like was that when it’s packed it can be hard to move around (the tables are packed pretty closely) and hard to hear conversation besides the people right next to you.
What a find!! Old World, great variety, impeccable service, superb presentation, great wine list -all moderately priced. Perfect.... Thank you!
Terrific meal and convenient location. Upstairs is quiet and downstairs seemed to be for families.
Not in the West Loop but thought I would still share a locally owned small business.
We are from Colorado and this gem has never disappointed. The food is amazing, portions large, never so packed you don’t get a personal experience.
My 8 year old even loves it here. They printed her name on the menu today for her birthday and made her feel special when most places are like “here’s your candle move on.”
For anyone looking for a great neighborhood experience and to support a local business. Stop in 🍝 — at Sapori Trattoria.
The food was really good
Great ambiance and service, a real neighborhood gem we enjoy every so often. For the price I think there are better old world Italian restaurants in the city with more flavor in the dishes, hence the 4 stars. Sapori allows you to bring in your own bottle of wine for a $10 corking fee, but by doing so you can’t use any other coupons or deals.
My daughter and I love this restaurant and laugh every time we get the Chef’s mail offering $16 off. Food and service is always great!
Came on a Saturday night and couldn’t wait to leave. It was so packed and noisy you couldn’t carry in a conversation. Food is good but not worth the aggravation.
We had a great birthday dinner for a friend. Our waiter brought 3 desserts on a plate for the 6 of us all on his tab. We tipped him extra of course!
This is probably our tenth time at Sapori. As always, they meet or exceed our expectations for wonderful food and an enjoyable atmosphere. Diners at Sapori always seem so happy, including us!
Our favorite restaurant!
Sapori Trattoria is one of my favorite restaurants to eat at, especially for events such as birthdays or date nights. The service staff is incredibly friendly and accommodating, the vibe is perfect, and the food is beyond amazing. Definitely a must to eat here!
Always one of our favorite restaurants in Chicago. It is still as good as it ever was!
Love love love
I had dinner with friends and had not been to the restaurant in about a year but chef Anthony has put together a organization that delivers a 100% excellent Dinning experience it was like I had been there just the week before I look forward to going back more often
Great food as always and excellent service, especially given it was Valentine’s Day
We went on Valentine's Day, which was a mistake. We were seated not only on an aisle, where the hostess would lead customers to the upstairs dining room, but also right next to the door. So we were crowded, people were constantly bumping into the back of my chair, and then whenever the door opened, we were greeted with a gust of cold air. Once a woman carried her coat as she walked passed us and her coat grazed half the food on the table and almost spilled by date's glass of wine. The server seemed to know it was a sardine-like atmosphere and did his best. The food was okay but not worth the dining experience.
Always a great experience! Even received a happy half birthday note and gift card from the chef!
Excellent food .Zuppa De Pesce was outstanding as was the Insalata Rustica. Excellent service from staff and our waiter, Omar. Chef Anthony does it again.
Mussels in white sauce was delicious. The seafood pasta was little salty but it was still good.
A wonderful restaurant with great food and great service.
Food was very good, service was awful. Took forever to get drinks and once the food was served we couldn’t find our waitress for 45 minutes. It was a Sunday evening and not busy so I’m not sure where she was. Will not go back just from the service alone.
Very quaint restaurant which makes for a very cozy atmosphere. Low lighting and candles
Good food and service👍
Food was incredible, server was great with recommendations. We went for Chicago Restaurant Week which was a GREAT deal. It was pretty crowded and loud, but that didn’t bother us too much
Food was great, wine was great, service was great and prompt. Lovely experience.
Service was excellent, the food was really delicious-we had a great time!
We really enjoyed the pastas and service! Would definitely go back!!
When we first arrived it was very busy and very loud and the staff seemed overwhelmed. The food was great and the staff was friendly and apologetic. Overall, we had a great evening out.
BYOB for wine split between 2 people for $10 corkage fee! highly recommend the stuffed chicken breast
Way too loud and crowded. Servers were bumping into us at our table left and right, and couldn’t hear the person across from me.
It was good
Food service and ambiance were great! Will defiantly be back
Phenomal first experience dining at Sapori Trattoria! We selected the restaurant week menu and wow, what a value! The place was packed however the service was on point and all food was delicious and hot! We will be back, food and cocktails were outstanding. Couldn’t have been better.
The food was very good and the service was excellent. However, the noise level was ridiculous. You had to shout just to be heard by the person across from you. Since I usually want to speak with my dinner companions, this is a big negative for a restaurant. The tables were very close together, and they had way too many large groups in a relatively small room.
