Saporitalia Pizzeria Ristorante
We had an early dinner at 5.15 pm. The waiter gave good advice on ensuring we did not order too much and with his suggestions we had an excellent meal.
Very good pizza; I had a Piccante which was great. It came quickly after we had ordered it, but the service was a bit erratic otherwise with things forgotten or finding it hard to get attention from the staff on a busy Saturday evening.
Great food and service as always. Went for lunch and got a table by the window, hearty and authentic cuisine.
A real gem will not over recommend the Head Waiter excellent
Having read the extremely negative reviews before eating at the restaurant I was concerned it wouldn’t be up to much but am very pleased to say it was excellent. The fried zucchini we shared for aperitivo was crisp and delicious and went very well with the chilled Prosecco. We had a plate of pasta and pizzas to eat and all was very good - al dente and Picante, respectively. We were recommended the chianti (excellent) and ordered a Trebbiano which was equally good. Just off the market, this place is small and welcoming - well worth a visit!
Amazing food and service the manager is very attentive all in all spectacular
Service is very poor
We had been twice in our 5 days trip. Outstanding margarita pizza! We had pasta too, but this pizza is one of the best I ever had.
i am sorry the say that the servings of the mains were tasty but tiny and a main is not supposed to be tiny. I literally got one small portabello mushroom with delicious stuff on top but one? ... I mean.. it was the kind of plate that one would serve in a slapstick comedy.
The service was top rate as was the ambience. The quality of the food was good but the portion size were a cruel joke. The pistachio desert was amazing and helped me to consider the night - a pass.
A little messy the service the food is simple and delicious
A casual cozy Italian pizzeria restaurant with great authentic food. We had the Spaghetto alle vongole, which was very tasty and the clams were delicious. We also had a Saporita pizza, which has fresh buffalo mozzarella. It was really tasty as well. For dessert, we enjoyed a lovely Tiramisu.
The interior of the restaurant is simple but cozy. The service was good as well. Overall, we will recommend this restaurant to a friend.
Best pizza ever! Not even in Italy I can have this livel of pizza. Parmigiana amazing taste and super cannolo! Usually when I am eating pizza in London I drink all night long... not this time! I extremely recommend this amazing place.
Lovely meal and a nice cosy atmosphere, we were well looked after
Delicious food, really nice atmosphere and good service and value for money. Will definitely return.
An authentic Italian restaurant in Portobello Road with friendly service and very nice food for a reasonable price. I recommend it!
Menu reduced from when they used to be at their old location and the service was pretty poor. Spent more time cuddling and playing with a 4 year old than looking out for customers, not just us! Fried zucchini was wet and sloppy and it used to be really light and crispy but otherwise food was good. Maybe things will improve as they settle into their new home as this was a real favourite so would be sad if this was the new norm.
Francesco the owner is a brilliant host; we have been coming here for years and he never fails to deliver. Great food and great service. Thank you!
Fabulous place, can't believe we hadn't been here before. Proper Italian food, wonderful friendly service. Faultless!
Food is fabulous, and Francisco is always a pleasure.
Excellent simple ITALIAN food
Outstanding authentic Italian food at a good price point. We are locals but this was our first time there and we will be back
