Great service. Great food. Will definitely return!
My waiter, Sal, spoke to me about preferred dishes and preferred wines. He convinced me to try the Kampachi, and his wine recommendation was great. (I should have listed to him the first time). I had a view of the Christmas lights in Rittenhouse square, and I was at a window seat. I plan to return to visit the bar for a happy hour soon. Great if you have a relative with walking difficulties, ramp and elevator access. Close to: all Rittenhouse Square attractions, churches, shopping, The Curtis Center for Music, Sansom Street theaters and comedy shows, 1812 Productions, The Mutter Museum, 1st City troop (Armory), Day spas and the Park itself.
Love this place! Get the bone marrow pasta—you won’t regret it :-)
The food was good. Very small portions. We ordered the “tasting for two” priced at $55.00. This “tasting” as it was called would only feed one person. Very overpriced for the amount of food. Tasting plate for 2 is pictured below. Will not be back.
Was fabulous. As with every other restaurant prices are high. I love this place and will continue to go
Food was fantastic… service was excellent… will be back
There was a lack of vegetarian options across the board.
The menu seemed a bit fussy and overly complicated. So the food seemed overwhelmed by the variety, seasonings.
The booth was super fun and cozy and elegant.
Our server was attentive and friendly to the perfect degree.
We had a very enjoyable evening. Great service was the highlight followed by food and then ambiance. Expected something a bit more elegant.
Birthday celebration was very enjoyable. The Food quality and service was excellent
The food was absolutely delicious homemade pasta is to die for prices are really reasonable the service is impeccable I will definitely be back for that
A really extraordinary meal. An excellent Old Fashioned. Polenta with mushrooms that was so very good. Duck and foie gras ravioli I couldn’t stop eating. Only the gelato was merely very good. What a find!
Excellent meal, fabulous service wonderful experience
Amazing! Highly recommend :)
One word. Fantastic. This a great high - end restaurant across from Rittenhouse Square. We had a table near the window so looked out on a beautiful Saturday night.
The service was great. The food was out of this world. We have three different pasta dishes - each extremely unique with homemade pasta. Certainly a special occasion kind of place.
The food was incredible but the service was disappointing. We showed up and was told they didn’t have a reservation for us. We spelled the name and they were adamant we had no reservations until I pointed at my name on the list. We didn’t get drinks until well over 30 minutes of sitting. Our drinks were incorrect. We asked for more bread to hold us over until the food came, bread never came. It was disappointing trying to show our friend the Philly restaurant scene and we have to explain that this isn’t normal. I hope things turn around, but we will not be returning.
We had a great time at Scarpetta Phili location. Food was very good, but the service and attention from the Manager & staff was memorable.
The view is spectacular. Polenta, risotto, carrots and pocket ravioli were outstanding. Deserts were wonderful.
Class defined. Old world hand crafted cocktails and good bartenders to make them, wine list is a bit shorter than you’d think it would be … House made / homemade pasta dishes should not be missed, even if you order as a side or an appetizer. Too good not to sample. Window tables for two are romantic …
Great spot for a date night. Great atmosphere and amazing pasta!
I was there. They just got name wrong. It was amazing
Grabbed a reservation last minute without any expectations. Cocktails were excellent, finished our entire entrees, and were graced with the most delicious dessert! Will be back. 10/10. Restaurant itself was super cool too.
Food was decent but the service was really not good, and I don’t think it was worth the price.
Birthday for my daughter.
Food came out at a normal pace. Had to wait about 20-30 min after ordering drinks. Whole experience was average.
Phenomenal service and food! Everything was excellent will be returning soon .
Disappointed in unusually poor service. Poor timing, "lost wine", inattentive service. I have had many wonderful meals at Scarpetta- this time I was embarrassed to bring guests there.
Terrible service and food was not of equivalent standards of other locations. Do not recommend. We waited 30-minutes to be served, there was no communication amongst the staff. Not once were we checked on throughout the meal. Food was over dressed and under seasoned.
Restaurant week date night
Food was fantastic but the service was horrible. Our waiter only came to our table twice- to get our order and to give us the bill. It was crowded but there was ample staff
Server, additional staff, and food was great! Loved the ambiance!
Food was amazing!!! Waiter was awful. Spoke to Manager about it. Never came to table after order was placed. Took 20 minutes after we were done for him to come back to table. Never ordered dessert since it took so long which we were looking forward to. Do not not how they are though.
Our waitress was knowledgeable of the entrees and specials. She was professional. The food was seasoned to perfection and it was very good. The cocktails were also very good. Don’t mind paying a little extra for great food and drinks.
Service was awful. It took 40 minutes after sitting down for someone to even take our drink order.
We had a great evening with friends for my husbands birthday.
My first time and a great experience. I would go back for just the carrots and my server tbh 🥕
The quality of food was definitely not what it used to be. The bread served was cold in the middle like it had been frozen and the rest of the food didn’t seem very fresh or of good quality. The cocktails were very good though. Maybe just enjoy a drink at the bar and skip the food.
Everything we ordered was delicious.
Expensive but delicious
We had a great table on the window.
Service adjusting to new increases in volume.
Good was excellent
Lovely dinner with friends
