Absolutely amazing experience! I have been 4 times since I've come to London. Easily the best tea room in London and the most sincere service. We feel like the royal family having tea when we dine here! A must!

Had a wonderful Afternoon Tea with my daughters. Fantastic choice of food and all were really tasty! Lovely to have a glass or two of Prosecco included in the price. Service was fantastic and all staff were very attentive. As my one daughter is pregnant and couldn’t drink alcohol she was given a Mocktail on the house and also a “congratulations “ extra dessert - a lovely touch! Will definitely be recommending Scoff and Banter to friends. Thank you .

Nice tea room tea was good.
We paid for Moet Champagne, but tasted like cheap Prosecco
The cucumber sandwiches were served on cheap bread and were oozing butter
Egg and cress was ok
The scones were nasty - I would have been better buying done from M&S!
Also they were rationing the clotted cream and jam. The jam was very runny
The sweets - the rhubarb was raw and the custard had no sugar, tasted like a Japanese savory custard I was served for breakfast in Asia. the sticky toffee pudding was edible but the custard was the same as in the rhubarb

The service wasn't great, the restaurant is in a curve shape and there was no one manning our area for majority of our time.

We were also a little disappointed that despite arriving earlier then other tables, being left to last to be served, or having to ask to be served.

When ordering our bill we asked straight away to pay when we received it, and we then waited ten minutes to have to flag down someone to say that we were waiting to pay.

The food was lovely, and quirky and beautiful setting - and the staff were very polite!

A bit disappointed to be honest, the service was pretty poor. We needed to remind staff about our tea, and requesting an extra cup and asked several times for our bill. Don’t feel comfortable that we had to pay 12.5% service. Wouldn’t recommend

Scoff and Banter, just off Oxford Street, was a real find! I booked lunch for my friend and me through Open Table as we wanted a lovely experience while we were in London for the day and the reviews were good. There was an offer of a free bottle of Prosecco too!
We were delighted with the restaurant, the beautiful decor and cute china, and the great choice of food within the afternoon tea menu. The service was really good, from lovely staff, too.
Overall a fantastic experience! I would definitely recommend it!

The address is incorrect; there’s no entrance at 350 Oxford street and no sign for the tea room
Also it’s on the first floor of the Radisson Hotel and there’s no mention of that in the description
Lacks authenticity

We had a reservation for 1 PM, same as opening time. When we arrived 1 PM we were asked to wait since they were not ready to open. We were seated at 1.15. The first dishes were served at 1.45, after that we had to wait for another 45 minutes for the rest. Scones were cold, bread was certainly not fresh, at least two days old, and the pastries were not fully baked. Soggy short bread and half baked tarts. With the booking I informed the tea room that it was our daughters 13:th birthday so I ordered a birthday cake for her. A waiter came in and asked whose birthday it was, althogh it was obviously only one teenager in the entire room. He then put down the cake with a "here is a cake for you".

Absolutely not worth the money, and I totally understand why they add service gratitude to the bill, otherwise there would not be any extra.

A lovely afternoon catching up with a very dear friend. It was Monday and very quiet which we didn't mind at all. The waiter, Robert, was extremely attentive in particular sorting out my friends, dietary requirements. The food was beautifully presented and the hot starters were particularly delicious. All topped off with a complimentary bottle of Prosseco - what's not to like!

My Mum and I had a wonderful time at Scoff and Banter. The waitress was very good - attentive and formative about the menu. It’s often hard to find great places for afternoon tea in London that are of good value but this place is definitely it! I would recommend this place to my friends and hope to be back again soon.

I went with a small group of friends, the atmosphere for perfect for a quiet birthday occasion and for a catch up. Fantastic service, the staff were friendly and attentive to our needs. They also brought out a surprise dessert for the birthday guest which we did not ask for, so this was a very nice touch!

One of the best afternoon teas I've had. Has become my go to place for such an occasion.
Always get the prosecco deal so get a free bottle of prosecco which is a very good deal.
You get 2 hot starters which is quite different to other places plus pick of 2 types of sandwiches, scones and dessert.
Absolutely in love with their terimasu tea tastes exactly like the dessert.
Beautiful setting and table wear would deffinetly recommend.

We chose these tea rooms as unlike many tea rooms the food offerings also included some hot food and several flavours of scones. They are centrally located and close to a tube station.
The ambiance was good, the crockery delightful and the food delicious.
However, I was somewhat disconcerted when on leaving, the server made us aware that we had underpaid by £1.... of the “discretionary service charge”
We had paid a £16 tip for two hours work, where we had not even been offered a refill for the teapot or a glass of water, which we felt was enough.
We are all nurses and no-one ever tips us at all!
Luckily, he did not push the point otherwise we would have asked for the whole tip back!
The food was lovely but he left a bit of a bad taste

We had the most wonderful afternoon tea experience, and I can’t rave enough about the service and food selection. There were other venues we could have chosen, but I’m so happy we chanced upon the Scoff & Banter Tea Room. Many thanks to the staff for making our tea service such a memorable and appreciated part of our London stay.

I went here to have an afternoon tea with two of my friends. I liked the concept where you could choose your own menu as for what to eat so that if there is something you don't like it won't be on your plate.
My favourite dish that I tried was the mushroom (in the hot dishes section) and my friends recommends the salmon bagel.
Overall I would say that it's a lot of food so don't eat before having your afternoon tea. The location is easy to find when you're a tourist so that's a big plus and the ambiance feels luxury.
