Contemporary European
Delicious food bursting with flavour in a beautifully designed restaurant and al fresco landscaped courtyard garden area. Our menu includes a combination of creative and hearty dishes, including vegetarian friendly options, prepared with fresh locally sourced ingredients. Wood fired oven and BBQs are a new feature over the summer - with pizza to take away.

We have a bar inside and outside in the courtyard for pre and post meal drinks, serving local spirits, house cocktails and locally brewed beers.

Just the 4 of us for a special occasion and given the current state of the Earth, a very pleasant evening. The food was exceptional and the service very personal (just the 4 of us in the restaurant and given the current state of affairs, it was nice that the restaurant stayed open). Can't wait until things get back to an approximation of normal for a return visit.

We really enjoyed our evening at Scoff. The food was very good - we would have liked some salad with the steak but there wasn’t any. That was slightly bizarre. Ben and Freddie were charming. Nicely decorated. Should have put crisps in a bowl, not serve them in the bag. Wine was excellent and reasonably priced. Scoff is a good formula and well worth visiting.

Very friendly staff and very welcoming. As soon as we arrived they were only too happy to help with taking our coats and allowing us to relax at the bar, even bring the menu into us incase we wanted to browse it before we went through to the restaurant. Once we were in the restaurant, I loved how they had set the tables to ensure you had plenty of room and offsetting the next row of tables so that as I got up there was no way of accidentally bumping into anyone behind you, very well thought out. Then there’s the food! Wow! How delicious. I’d have to say it’s the best food locally and that’s not putting any other restaurant down, it is just this is even better.
Thank you for a great evening, amazing food and friendly service.

Beautifully newly modernised hotel and restaurant. Tastefully decored. Food was lovely, I had the vegetarian option and must admit thought the risotto might be a dull option but it was delicious. Reasonably priced and relaxed atmosphere. Definitely going back!

Great food and the staff in general are very good. Bar service can be a bit slow but I would highly recommend the Lodge.

The refurb looks great and the place has great potential but there was no real welcome when coming into the reception and I had to find someone to show us to our table. The restaurant was well-staffed but the team were quite young and inexperienced, a bit headless to be honest- the place really needed a 'maitre-de'.
We were put on a table by the kitchen so had lots of passing traffic and a v noisy coffee machine grinding. The food was v pricey for what was delivered. It was okay but not special and the chocolate dessert looked and tasted like a m and s shop-bought affair. The cheese was v uninspiring for the cost and again the relish seemed shop-bought.
We eat out around Cambridge 1 to 2 times per week and definitely wouldn't recommend or go back here. Big shame! Provenance in Whittlesford is a much better option.

Absolutely delicious breakfast, all so fresh & tasty. The owner gave us a tour of the hotel rooms along with the cosy areas to have a drink. We will be returning for a drink in the stylish bar & dinner in the restaurant soon

Very welcome addition to the CAMBRIDGE environs dining scene. Great atmosphere/ modern decor and very friendly welcoming staff. Food very good though soup portion was very small. Staff really nice but the set up needs a bit more work to make it ‘slick’ eg promised menu to consider at bar before getting to table but menu had to be chased. So a little more professionalisation/ slickness combined with friendliness would make this really great.

We had lunch one Saturday at Graze. Really impressed. The Lodge is just what this area of the country needs. As you walk in, there is an atmosphere of relaxed sophistication (with rather Soho House style decor), and a warm welcome from the staff. Graze is a casual basement cafe and the food is great. We had a few 'small' (yet generous) plates: calamari; duck; chorizo; and chicken wings - all of which looked and tasted amazing. We'll definitely go back. Looking forward to checking out Scoff for dinner sometime soon!
