At Scott's Kitchen, we are passionate about providing you a relaxing and delicious experience overlooking our beautiful garden centre grounds.

You can expect warm team members, in a comfortable environment and food that you wouldn't expect to be served at a garden centre!

We are mainly known for our fresh sandwiches, vegan and gluten free friendly options, and our incredibly popular afternoon teas.

Our family friendly restaurant, is perfect for catching up with old friends over tea and cake, plug into our power sockets and jump on the Wi-Fi for a remote working session, or celebrating a birthday with family in our stunning garden.

We are also dog friendly and have outdoor dining pods which can be pre-bookable.

I had booked for the 'Birthday Brunch Pod' for my friends birthday surprise. Even though the weather was autumnal the pod was nice and warm courtesy of the heater, and the pod was decorated and had a 'Birthday Banner'. The food was freshly cooked and although we had a bit of a wait, as it was a busy half term day, it was definitely worth wait - very tasty!, there were plenty of cups of tea and a slice of cake included. There were lots of choices of cake but I would definitely recommend 'The Red Velvet'! My friend loved her birthday surprise and we will definitely be returning for seconds!

This was my third visit and it was just as lovely as the other times, the staff are extremely friendly and professional, nothing is too much trouble and the food is of good quality and they definitely don’t skimp on the portion size! Best panini by far and the chips are delicious, as is the eggs and avocado, see you again soon!

Vegan afternoon tea was incredible. I felt it was the same quality and value as the meat option my sister had. Often the vegan option is 'less than' in an afternoon tea. This was most certainly not the case.

Lovely food, and was served quickly. Food came up really hot. My Dad was on a scooter and they assisted him, and made sure he was comfortable.

As always thoroughly enjoyed my visit, food, service etc as did the two people with me. Very much appreciated the air conditioning. Enjoyed looking round at all the variety of plants and merchandise.

Devine afternoon tea, wonderful selection of sandwiches, scones and cakes. Tea and coffee was topped up when necessary, we couldnt quite finish it so we were able to take some home.

The afternoon tea was amazing. So much to eat!! As well as sandwiches and a small bap and a sausage roll we had six sweet items each. Each cake had been beautifully prepared and the chocolate dipped strawberry was delicious. It was raining so we sat inside although I had been looking forward to sitting outside in one of the ‘pods’ The tables and surrounding area was very clean and the toilets also clean and easily accessible.

Initially our table given to someone else but sorted. Ordered ploughmans, advertised on special board with cheese but arrived with just ham. After speaking to waitress some cheese was brought over. Chips were cold but after complaint were not charged for. Overall not a great birthday outing but staff were friendly

One of the best Afternoon Teas ever! Lovely food - nicely presented - very pleasant staff and lots of tea/coffees included. We had one of the 'pods' outside so a unique setting amongst the flowers and plants. Would definitely recommend

Absolutely wonderful. The staff are friendly, funny, down to earth and cannot do enough for you. Had a delicious afternoon tea. There wasn't just alot of food it was amazing quality. We were not rushed or pressured to purchase anything more. Would definitely recommend and will go again and again as I MUST try all the different cakes!

We came for a 70th birthday treat of afternoon tea. Feel like afternoon tea could be in a quieter section of the cafe. The service was poor and inattentive, I would have expected to be offered more drinks & to be asked if everything was ok. Whilst the food was great the picnic benches were a bit big & clumsy. Having said all this we had a lovely time & enjoyed the garden centre.

We celebrated a friend’s special birthday by having afternoon tea at Scott’s. The food was perfect. Plenty of tea and coffee available. We had a decorated Pod to sit in, where we added more decorations. The service was great.

I have been many times to Scott’s but this was the worst. We had to call someone over to see where our Afternoon tea was as we had been waiting awhile. When my grandsons was brought the waitress dropped one of the cakes on the table and said nothing….. we had to ask for more sandwiches for him as hardly any there. Nobody came over to see if we were alright and needed anything. I had to find someone again to ask for more coffee!! Seats and carpet weren’t clean.!! After paying an awful lot of money I don’t think this was very good value at all. I have been coming here since it opened but not so sure about going back !!!

I took my daughter in law & grandson for lunch & my grandson had the kids Afternoon Tea & my daughter in law & myself had lunch. The food was delicious & the kids Afternoon Tea was lovely. I requested the Happy Birthday pod & it was ideal for my birthday lunch. Service was very good.

The Afternoon Tea was for my Patents 60th Wedding Anniversary and it they enjoyed it so much ,they said it was the best they have had the sandwich selection,sausage rolls,scones and cakes were supberb.
