one of the best seafoods in town. good service. great food
Great food. Lovely staff
Service was impeccable with attentive waiting staff. We had 3 courses and each course was served within good time. Restaurant was busy but each table seemed intimate and there was no set time to vacate the table. Starters if chargrilled calamari came as a salad which was a surprise. Main of Dover sole was served beautifully with optional lemon. I could twist the miso grilled cauliflower side and the tomato salad also went down well. The choice of French or English trio of cheeses was good and it went down well with a cup of tea. A great restaurant but a little expensive so save for special occasions.
Bizarrely had to queue at 12PM as the doors do open until 12. It must have been the most well-heeled queue in London.
I asked to sit outside and they catered for me
Ladies very nice at reception and the staff are impeccable
Lovely girls lunch
I will come back soon x
We sat outside as it was sunny. The people next to us were allowed to smoke....the waiter brought them an ashtray! The smoke drifted across to us. Luckily we are on coffee!
It was a surprise to see this!
Food was fab as always.
Very good , ambiance great
Nice and good food
Have been to this restaurant many times and it never disappoints.
Unfortunately you’re out of the prawns and lobster that we enjoy there when we come.
I had the lobster thermidor however didn’t think it was very fresh to be honest, the flavours were lacking.
Service was okay, other times it’s been better.
The server we had was rude and took our drinks order incorrectly without apology. When asked to tell how the aubergine parmesan was prepared ,she proceeded to tell us that it was eggplant, like we didn't know ,and we had to ask again to which a short and rude response was given ,then seemed to disappear and a nice young man carried on from there.
Great atmosphere and decent food in the heart of london
The overall experience was great! All the friendly and professional staffs made us the great dining. However some of oysters were too small, we must come back again in the future!
Reliably enjoyable evening, great service, fresh and delicious seafood every time.
Had the Dover Sole (what else would you have at Scott’s!). For starters my wife had the yellowtail sashimi (which she described as a heavenly explosion of flavors) and I had the warm asparagus (a handful of limp but tough spears with a not great sauce (pasty). Fish was (as always) perfect, but our veggie sides were at best ordinary (roasted carrots and slow roasted Mediterranean vegetables). So, on balance the food was good, but for the prices charged should have been great. With a little more care on handling the vegetable dishes this would have been a memorable evening.
It's a posh place, where posh people come to eat and be seen and where ordinary people go to see posh people eat.
The quality of the seafood and the care in the cooking is of the very highest standard.
Mostly Euro waiting staff are cheerful, efficient and accomplished.
Prices are high but justified by the food produced. Good wine list with some quality stuff available by the glass.
Worth a visit if you are driven by quality not price and enjoy the company of very minor celebrities,
Had a wonderful dinner with my daughter on Friday evening. The service, food, wine and ambiance was terrific.
Haven’t been here for a decade after I moved away from London but it was even better than I remembered. We came with a baby and were greeted & treated so lovely, thank you! Food was beyond amazing and we will definitely come back next time we’re in London.
Nice. Food was good. Very noisy. John Dory tasted ‘fishy’ in some spots. Not cool when you pay this much for John Dory.
Outstanding quality but pricey. Never disappoints.
I adore Scotts. It is the heart and soul of Mayfair, and I look forward to every visit. We go around twice a week, the food, ambiance and service is always wonderful no matter what time of day. It has a soul that cant be easily re created! If you want to experience Mayfair, Scotts is your place.
Love this place
Dover sole meniuere was fantastic as was risotto primavera. Equally so the blood orange semifreddo!
Service was attentive from check-in to the last meringue crumb...especially considering we got lost and were running late! Definite return...
Great service sitting at the bar!
Excellent fish, amazing service, we would definitely go back!
Impeccable service & delicious food. My guests were very impressed.
It is well air conditioned, so on a warm day ladies maybe will want to have a shawl with them.
An excellent meal with the freshest of seafood. The spicy salmon ceviche was to die for. Great atmosphere and decent service. You won't be disappointed!
Delicious meal! Very attentive to dietary restrictions.
Amazing food. Discrete attentive service and a wonderful atmosphere. Well be back!!
I took a friend to Scott’s for her birthday. It’s the perfect place for her treat. Great food, honestly priced, outstanding service from the friendly staff and a cosy place for a chatty evening. The desserts are second to none.
Had a lovely quiet table. Super food and ambience
Scott’s is my favorite restaurant in London, if not the world. Get the cheese soufflé, lobster thermadore and steamed pudding!
Really great food and service
A bit on the noisy side; felt like we were in NYC
Nevertheless a great experience
Scott’s is a definite visit every time iam in London... I love everything about it... this time though my Dover sole was average and my gluten free bread equal quality and taste like your average airline... xmm....
I just hope it was one of these days.. after all there’s always space to improve... no???
Amazing. Classy restaurant with outstanding food and ambiance
Best seafood ever. Exceptional service. Perfect place for a business meeting or special occasion.
Lovely atmosphere, wonderful food and attentive but not intrusive staff.
