Very pretentious place. Food great, ambiance somewhat stand-offish and annoying. Won’t be back, not at those prices.
Simply the best seafood in London
Great restaurant - fish was great but a few things were not available due to an issue in the kitchen.
Fab cocktails and foie gras!
This was my second time at Scott's and it was as amazing as the first time, food was fantastic ,the service was excellent,i will definitely be going back many more times in the future .
Service is good and atmosphere is just perfect, won’t feel too formal but with class for sure!
The best seafood restaurant I have ever tried in London!
Nice food. Snobby waiter. Really disappointing in the attitude. Did let down the meal.
It’s always an excellent experience with Scott s
Gorgeous room including contemporary art by known artists. Excellent service . A wide variety of seafood offerings prepared in multiple ways. The recommended wine was spot on and not too expensive. Our meals were delicious. All and all, a lovely evening.
Always outstanding quality at a high but appropriate price
The meal was incredible. We got the grilled shellfish platter and it was fab. Cannot wait to go back again.
The restaurant continues to have a great buzz, celebrity clientele, beautiful dining room. Some of the waiters (but certainly not all) demonstrate just a little bit too much arrogance. And the service generally is not as efficient as it should be in its class. It was a great shame that our fish for two was left five minutes to get split into pieces. While the taste was very good, it arrived pretty cold on our table. On that basis I have to notch them down a star.
Good food like many other restaurants in Mayfair. A go if you are in the area type of restaurant.
I always enjoy coming here. There is lots of choice of the menu for all courses and all the food is delicious. The service is very attentive and the staff do not force you off the table. It’s very smart but whilst having a very relaxed atmosphere. A great place to come and catch up with friends and see an A-lister or two if you’re lucky.
Great food and service. Great ambience. Always come here when visiting London.
One of the best places we have been to in London. Incredible quality food.
Our second dinner at Scott’s this time for my wife’s birthday. Excellent food, service and ambiance.
We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Scott's. It was a special occasion lunch and we felt very well looked after from the outset. The food was delicious - excellent salmon tartare and monkfish cheeks to start and perfectly cooked halibut and lobster thermidor for our mains. The desserts were excellent too.
The food and service are always excellent, it has a nice bar and there is a good atmosphere.
Great service and exceptional menu. Will please everyone.
We dined here on a busy good Friday evening and chose oysters to start followed by the monkfish and prawn masala. This was mild enough for most palates and tasty. Service as you would expect from a destination restaurant was excellent.
Lovely evening, good for dates with friends or just couples, would definitely recommend!!!
Seafood is as good as it comes in Scott’s. Always fresh, served well in a very relaxed atmosphere. Always delivers.
Unfortunately the quality of food was poor. Bisque was cold and both of our dishes taste wise below expectations.
The service was impeccable and the food was memorable. The Octopus Carpaccio was amazing! Beautifully balanced and imaginative. The staff made myself and my family feel welcome in a beautiful atmosphere of gastronomy extraordinaire! The sommelier chose the perfect pairings for every plate we enjoyed . It was a night I will truly remember the rest of my life! Thank you so much for such an incredible evening!
Scott’s was a lovely restaurant! I had a great time. The reason I’m overall giving it 4/5, is because while the food was good, it wasn’t exceptional and I do feel that for the quality, it was a tad overpriced. The oysters were very good though! And I would go back, but I’ve had better food for less in all honesty.
But not great.
Chips rubbish. Had to fight with the lobster. Not right in this sort of place.
The food was excellent but this is where my positive experience ended unfortunately. I had high expectations of both food and service but the service was not good. I’m sad as our special occasion has passed with a disappointing experience. I agree this happens in many parts of life but the first experience is an important one and one that is hard to put right. There were minor things on the night that were not perfect which I shall not list in detail but happy to discuss with the venue directly as these are attention to detail points but my biggest and most uncomfortable complaint was the feeling of being rushed in an empty restaurant to fit a two hour table slot. We dined at 5pm and left at 7pm sharp and there were no queues or nor was the restaurant full. So why the rush !! The whole experience £330 was like a panic. Pressed for order, food arriving quickly, pressed for desserts. I was prepared to buy another bottle and to celebrate our event but as that was missed completely ( apart from one lady who called to confirm my booking on the day), and the fact we felt so rushed we left and grabbed a taxi to another establishment near by. I’m sad, our first time experience at Scott’s and special meal was tinged ( saved by the food ). For £165 a head I expected more. I did not remove the service charges as the kitchen deserved these but sitting in the taxi heading across London to finish our evening off I looked at the receipt and thought that it would be a long time before I return to Scott’s and those named on the back of the receipt. Great food let down by the matching service. KM
Very nice meal with attentive service. I would recommend to friends
Fantastic service, great atmosphere and fantastic food.
We needed to leave in a hurry and didn't have time for desert. They noticed this and gave us some 'Scott's' complimentary fresh chocolates. Nice touch!
It was my wedding anniversary and the service was fantastic. I was offered a complimentary anniversary chocolate gift which was a nice touch. The staff was very receptive and i would definately go back and also recommended. 👍🏾
The fish was cooked in so much oil it spoilt it and was very expensive for what it was
Our favourite place in London
I have been wanting to go for Scott's for a while but always picked somewhere else but thought dinner with my fiance and parents is the perfect occasion. We were seated next to the bar which is nice in terms of looking at the fresh food etc but felt a bit chaotic as people and waiters were passing by often. Service was professional, one of the waitresses felt personal and was great. The food was excellent, oysters were great and the cheddar souffle is outstanding. The sole was amazing with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes. The mille fiuelle was all right but I thought a bit too thick in terms of the cream. I will definitely visit again.
My sea bass was dry and chewy. Ordered the cabbage as a side dish it was absolutely awful. Cooked in some sort of sweet flavouring.
Paid over £50 for food and over ate 2 mouthfuls.
Simply the best formal restaurant in London. Each dish is superb, every sip of wine delicious.
The staff are attentive without ever being intrusive - I visit often but wish I could visit more.
I love Scotts at the bar. Food is always excellent and staff a delight. The main treasure is the wine list.
I HAVE BEEN TO SCOTT'S BEFORE AND ALWAYS FIND THE FOOD AND ATMOSPHERE EXCELLENT.
Really enjoyable dinner. Great welcome and good food. We will return again.
