Good. Food is amazing and service was great
Service was oh so slow and it was not even crowded.
Love the decor . Menu was different , limited , ok... drinks were good . Miss Vic and Angelos 🤷🏼♀️
We've been many time and we've been happy , this time most of the things went wrong.
We dined outdoors. Comfortable seating. Noise level was low.
Food is outstanding. Had the bronzino.
This place is so cute and the food is great! The service is the only drawback but the food makes it worth the wait!
Expensive prices for average food. I could not find the lobster in the bucatini lobster entree. Many other exceptional restaurants at these prices.
Overall amazing restaurant. Excellent food, service and vibe !
Great wood fire pizza. Mushroom with truffle paste was amazing. Branzino with lemon sauce was outstanding with fingerling potatoes. YUMMY
Acoustics are not great for conversation. Waiter was good. I had a snapper special and it was tasty but wasn’t hot... octopus appetizer was terrific. The inside atmosphere is nice but too much like a afternoon cafe or coffee shop, think I’ll sit outside next time.
Wonderful service from Wendy!
Limited menu, food is plentiful but marginal.
Service needs work!
Prices are so expensive!
We went on a Monday night. Wine by the bottle is half price on Monday. Unfortunately they were out of Amerone (my favorite). But they had a nice Barolo.
Well, this was our 2nd try and it was no better than the first. The service was slow, the food mediocre and the prices too high. They forgot one of the entrees for our table and it took 15 minutes to find our server so we can bring that to her attention and another 15 minutes to get it. Definitely not worth it for what they charge. This is our last time there.
The branzino was fabulous as was my husbands bolognese. The hostess staff was somewhat disorganized and I felt like they were dressed inappropriately for the restaurant. Way too casual especially for a Saturday nite. What they were wearing didn’t reflect the ambiance of the restaurant.
$42 for Snapper is very high
Food was great but service was not. All dishes were delish. Took a long time to get waitresses attention, food came out reasonably well, but wait staff system needs major improvements.
Sitting inside- Way too noisy. Outside much more pleasant, despite not having enough heaters for everyone who wanted/needed.
Came for dinner on a Thursday evening with my sister and parents. The service was great. We ordered 3 salads as appetizers and then 3 different pizzas - we shared it all and the food was excellent! Everything on the menu sounded amazing so we will definitely be back to try other things. The homemade gelato is a must! The only thing negative I would say is that the ambience could have been better. We were seated on the side near the open kitchen and the lighting was quite bright. We all agreed the lights should have been dimmed to create a better ambience. The decor could have been improved a bit on this side of the restaurant as well to add to a better ambience. It was too cold to sit outside but the patio looked beautiful and we would love to go back and be seated out there. Overall we had a wonderful experience and look forward to going back soon!
Service was poor had to wait a half hour for our entrées
The service was slow because the restaurant was busy, but the server communicated with us and ultimately took wonderful care of out table. Everything from the dessert to the main course was delicious. The scusitrimisu was the best I’ve ever had. Can’t wait to go back!
It was great, they treated us like family
Great menu! Food was delicious. I had grouper special and my date had the veal chop. Grilled octopus was fabulous. Can’t wait to go back.
Food was very good but service was poor. The waiter got 3 out of 4 dinners wrong! He really didn’t listen to our questions or concerns, made assumptions, responded incorrectly, and had to redo several dinners. I wouldn’t hurry back.
Party of six and all were very pleased. Sat outside on a beautiful evening. Highly recommended.
Too noisy, both from the customers and blasting music, poor service, not due to our server but kitchen back-up, limited menu with pizza and small bites but limited entrees. Prices high for the type of food. Forced to use valet (free) when parking lot was more than half empty.
Busy bistro vibe, conversation strained over ambient noise. Meatball app was delicious with rich, flavorful sauce (a dollop of ricotta would enhance the dish). Unfortunately the octopus was overcooked and chewy. Bolognese was pedestrian and the pasta with white clam sauce was very salty. salmon and filet entrees were well-received.
We gave this restaurant a second try after a bad service experience the first time. What a mistake. It was Valentine’s Day and my wife and I made a reservation for dinner. We arrived on time and were told our table wasn’t ready so we went to the outside bar for a drink. The bar itself looks nice but the problem is there was no bartender who made drinks at the outside bar even though all seats at the bar were taken. After waiting ten minutes for any service whatsoever we were asked what we would like to drink. We ordered a glass of wine and a martini. The wine was served a few minutes latter but no martini. After waiting for our table 20 minutes it was finally ready but still no martini. We were seated and given a very limited menu. When I asked about the menu I was told since it’s Valentine’s Day they don’t serve a full menu and our only choices were on the card we received. For example, there was only one pizza with mushrooms, two pasta. After sitting at our table with no service except water, not even bread, my wife’s empty wine glass and still no martini we decided to leave. I think in our case two bad experiences at Scusi is enough.
Overall very nice. Only negative, you didn’t tell us it was an expensive fixed menu
Dined outside on a beautiful night. Food and service was excellent. Tender octopus. great white clam sauce on homemade pasta
3rd time here. Once sat inside, then outside, then at the bar. Food is amazing, every time. Service however is really bad. Slow to greet, slow to get beverages, tables and bar top sit dirty for long periods. All 3 times, not very busy. I hope the succeed because the food is top notch
Gave it Four tries. Most recent validated never going back. 7:00pm reservation and no main course still at 8:30pm. Bought a $120 bottle of wine. A guest is allergic to nuts and salad came with nuts. Husband was first to get entree then wrong dinner delivered to my guest then third guest got his meal then mine came so late that I no longer wanted to eat. I was too upset. All around outrageous. Worst experience ever and we dine all over the world. Every time we’ve gone with a reservation and we’ve had to wait an extremely long time for a table and then to get the food.
Inside the goal was obviously pack as many small tables together as possible. Managing the small table real estate for food/drinks etc was challenging to staff and customers, IMO. Asked to take leftovers home, opened bag at home and pizza was not included.
Watermelon salad and pizza were good.
Very spotty service...poorly trained wait staff
for such an expensive restaurant. Quite
Pizza fantastic. Kale Caesar best I ever had. Others had Branzino and they are it all. It was a slow night overall not very crowded so it was quiet.
We had a really great meal although I was surprised that there are no vegan/plant based type meals on the menu esp. no pasta primavera. I asked for it and the waitress at first said we don’t have it sorry - I asked her to please ask the chef and he was very accommodating - honestly it was so good it should be on the menu!
Loved the decor and atmosphere! And omg, the food. So good!! It’s our new favorite spot. 5 star all the way!
Food was very good. Excellent pizza and home made pastas as well as seafood. Ambiance is upscale and nice. Noise level is high. The only reason why I didn't give this restaurant 4 or 5 stars was the service. We were seated at our reservation time however no one came to our table for at least 15 minutes, maybe longer. I almost walked out but that would have been even more inconvenient. Then someone came by to take a drink order however it took at least another 15 minutes to receive our drinks. I hope they can solve their service issues since all other aspects of the restaurant are very good but the service was unacceptable.
Branzino is excellent. Pasta’s wonderful. I found this to be one of my go to spots.
