Service was excellent but good and drinks are way over priced. Overall it’s was ok. But not really worth the money.
The service was a little slow at first and we felt as though we were being ignored. This was soon rectified after speaking to the waiter who was really attentive after. The burger was really good along with the Mac and cheese. Cocktails were ok, a little overpriced but overall an ok evening.
It was a great “last supper” before lockdown. The riverside set menu was converted into a tasting menu (quite novel) and having had 3 dishes for each course - we left stuffed! Service was great and likewise the wine. Highly recommended.
The reservations team were excellent. But the whole dining experience was poor. The service appalling. Food not great. Pity as it’s a fantastic fit out and disappointed that the food is not as good as the nice decor. Stick to the cocktails in Lyaness. Dine elsewhere.
Great view of the river, excellent service and amazing food. The decor is different and impressive. Ideal for a special occasion.
Rather disappointing service (dismissed when I alerted the waiter to bones in the pasta), otherwise a nice venue and good is good.
Amazing food
Not the worst, not the best. I’d say nondescript. Food was ok, drinks were ok. Just ok.
Lovely attentive service. Great food and drinks
Venue was lovely but I was very disappointed with the menu as it was a brunch menu even at 2:30pm! I understand that places are running with restricted menus but on the flip side having not gone out to eat for months I was expecting a lot more.
A bit disappointed with the table we’ve been offered , which was towards the back of the place, looking at the rear end. Surely the reason I’ve booked this restaurant was because of Thames view not the kitchen view . We asked somewhere with a bit more outside view but we’ve been told not possible . However some of these tables out at the front were empty during the whole time we were there .
Food was great , service was good.
Weekend Brunch booking - Great service, friendly staff and food was on par, great value. I’ll be back!
Superb BH afternoon. Great service and lovely food!
Always a great bet for brunch/lunch on the terrace. Good service and friendly attentive staff. The overhead heaters made for a cozy ambience even though it was apparently the coldest August Bank Holiday on record. Will return (again) for sure
Very nice lunch after a visit to the Tate.
The food was really good, currently just the brunch menu available but lots to choose from. The staff were excellent and everyone had a great time.
Our waitress was very attentive and the food was really nice, as usual.
Great food- every dish was tasty and well seasoned the salmon starter and rabbit pappardelle were particularly outstanding. Good selection of wines and some very well made cocktails. We will be back soon.
Great value and excellent service
The theatre menu was interesting and tasty. Some combinations were a little curious but each individually lovely. Extra touch for my husband's birthday was a treat. Thank you. We will eat here again most definitely.
Very good for a business lunch or dinner outing. Great interiors
Lovely food and service, would prefer music to be less intrusive but I’m probably unusual in that respect!
Great meat dishes, steak and burger were excellent and nicely presented. low ambient noise levels considering it was quite busy, could easily hold a conversation. River view is nice, service could have been snappier but wasn’t bad considering it was valentines night. overall would recommend and price is about right
Valentine’s Day date- the ambience was decent. The food was good and the service was friendly and efficient. Perhaps not a top tier option but good nonetheless.
Expected more from this venue. It was beautiful. It was just OK.
Had the Pre Theatre Menu, such good value for what else is around and did the wine pairings too! Amazing menu, food was delicious and fabulous service. Would 100 percent recommend!
I had a great brunch with my friend on Sunday! Fantastic service and recommendations of the menu from Ettore & Pietro. I will most definitely be dining here again
Great choice for dinner by the Thames. Flatbreads are delicious and so is the ceviche and beetroot. The cote de boeuf was delicious and filling. Will definitely return if they do the special offer again as otherwise think their price points are a little too high for what it is.
Service was great but the food and location wasn’t impressive. Being right next to lyaness I assumed it would have the same amazing views but it wasn’t the case. I’m not sure I’d go back.
Lovely dinner great service
Good starters and mains but was let down by the Black Forest log dessert which was disappointing. Perhaps just a bad choice and other desserts are better?
Service was below average, food was ok, but nothing spectacular. I’m we have been here before and the experience was much better- seems to have taken a dip!
Wonderful dining experience! Many menu options, great cocktails, attentive service!
Came for bottomless brunch on a Sunday and had a good experience, service was excellent and food was of value with decent portions. Would definitely recommend if your looking for a brunch place with a view of the river
Wonderful early dinner on Christmas Eve! Service and atmosphere delightful, as well as the meal. The short ribs were amazing - And really enough for 2 or 3 to share!
Fabulous service
Waited almost an hour for a starter and then didn’t even manage to get through the pre-theatre dining menu in the 2 hour allotted slot. Excessively slow. Not enough staff, and the staff that were there seemed dismissive because they were really stretched. Disappointing as we were there to celebrate a birthday and it just felt flat.
Lots of potential. We possibly just had a bad night!
Lovely food - especially the flatbreads - and great service. Well worth a visit.
I was disappointed with Sea Containers. My booking was for a business lunch and as such, I booked the Theatre menu as I felt it would make things quicker if we had a set menu. It is not stated in the Ts&Cs, but they serve the Theatre menu as 'sharing' rather than a dish per person. Not ideal given we had various dietary requirements in the group. The offer also said 2 courses for x amount, 3 courses for y amount, but we were not given a choice and were told we would be getting 3 courses. The food itself was tasty, but would've been much better if served per person, as the set menu implied. It just feels like false advertising! The service was also INCREDIBLY slow... there were 5 of us and we were in there for almost 3 hours...! I understand there were a lot of other large groups in there, but surely the whole point of a set menu is to get people in and out relatively swiftly. Even when we were leaving, we had to wait for the cloak room as the attendant had disappeared. Overall, not a great experience..
Good food on the expensive side for the portions but very disorganised and slow service. Good location, decoration and atmosphere!
