It was a bit of a weird experience. The food was ok. The crab dip is actually more of a liquid quest, no chunks of crab at all. It was like hot, smoothie texture.
The fish was nice, I had a seared haddock with Brussels sprouts. No complaints.
The ambiance was utterly strange. The music was straight from 2003 and it felt like a seaside chain restaurant during the off season.
One of the 3 dishes we ordered (fried fish) was cold. The person eating it did not let the rest of us know until after the meal. Cold fried fish - yuck.
Great place to take clients for lunch as well as friends!
Delicious food, great area. A little less charming than the other locations but a great spot for dinner with friends!
Food was good. Slightly overpriced.
Excellent entree; poor srarters
The food was fresh and well prepared. It was not a busy night by any means and the service was very good. Pricey, but not unreasonably so. Loved the menu and would go back to try the other offerings.
Mistakes happen in restaurants and in this case the wait staff told me that forgotten items would be removed from the bill... however when the kitchen then deliberately sabotages the replacement items you have to then ask a question
We were looking for a moderately priced place to go to dinner. The food was well prepared. The General Tso cauliflower appetizer could have had a bit more heat for my palate but was fine for the rest of the table. The salmon burgers was just OK but the hamburger special with a fried oyster and blue cheese was delicious. There was one waitress on duty and they could have used 2. She was very attentive early on but the crowd came in later and she seemed to be spread thin. Overall it was a pleasant experience, the food was good. I would certainly expand their craft beer choices a bit but was adequate.
They need to re-evaluate their playlist. A little too clubby. Otherwise, their food is great and consistent.
Too much competition for similar food across the street - must be tough trying to get business. My fish and chips were nothing special. Lots of breading. No one in the restaurant on a Friday for lunch. Service was OK.
More noise is not possible
Great food and service!! Even on the night of the Macy's fireworks show.
4th of July. Staff was amazing. Very nice and made us feel special. Didn’t rush us out to turn over table on a very busy night
The food was awesome I can’t wait to come back. The service was very quick and attentive. The atmosphere is very hip and fun. And the bathrooms are clean.
Perhaps the finest customer service I’ve had in a restaurant in years. Reminds me of the old days when restaurant staff went out of their way to make you feel welcomed and taken care of. Kudos to whomever hires the fine people that staff this restaurant.
With that being said, it’s an added bonus that the food was excellent.
It was Father’s Day celebration & the ambiance was great.
I enjoyed Sunday lunch, the servicer was very nice and the food was great
Great place - service wasn’t so good.
We were seated right away and the food came quickly.
Restaurant smells too fishy
Great atmosphere. Interior is well done and fits the theme. I thought the food was good, my wife thought it was very good. I recommend it for an enjoyable place for good food.
Loved finding this gem in Dumbo. Great food, cute place and loved the candle burning in the bathroom
Welcome to Brooklyn. We approve!
The food was great and well worth the money. Our server was definitely showing some bias towards us though (two women of color). He seemed to be rushing us out as if we weren't good for the image of the restaurant. Weird, as we were impeccably dressed.
Good for groups and children
Staff very nice. Food lacked flavor. Too loud to hold a conversation.
Amazing experience. Food was great. Service was excellent. I was with some girlfriend and didnt order a drink and our waiter saw us having a little toast and brought a drink for free as no one should toast with water. Never a bad experience at seamore. Been many times
The food is wonderful. Yum!! So glad we found this. Perfect for pre theater before St Ann’s Warehouse. The fish and chips is amazing, and the crab dip and the lobster Mac n cheese!!! Our waiter Donato was fabulous and should be commended! He went above and beyond for us which makes you feel so welcome. Loved Dumbo location! We’ll be back: I want to try some daily specials next!
I have dietary restrictions and the waitress was extremely helpful. The atmosphere was fun, if a bit loud. The food was delicious but I thought the portions of fish were on the small side. The fish tacos could have used more fish. The seafood stew had a tasty broth but only one sizable piece of fish - and no muscles, clams, squid, shrimp.
Please tamp down the noise. The recorded music was not bad (but not particularly attractive). However, we had to seek out a table in the back in order to have a conversation due to ambient noise.
Excellent meal service was wonderful food was truly extraordinary the ambiance is moderne funky, not elegant if you're looking for a more romantic ambience... Cocktails marginal, didn't correctly make Gimlet, martini glasses small and unattractive. Adam a great server
I really like what Seamore’s is doing - providing an accessible dining option using sustainable seafood in a fun and inviting environment. Even for a newish restaurant, the service was on point and we ate there two days in a row. It is a little pricey for every day dining, but given the location and ingredients, I totally get it.
Food is very good and waitress was very helpful with explaining the differences between the fish for the day. I would highly recommend.
Had a lovely brunch and everyone enjoyed their meal. We got the lobster roll, the grilled shrimp tacos were so tasty. We also had drinks and they were very good as well. We had the cinnamon doughnut with vanilla ice cream and it was amazing! Will definitely go back. Our server was also great.
Bad service for an overpriced meal. I never write reviews. But this place really got on my nerves. I decided to give this restaurant a try because it is the only restaurant in my neighborhood I had not been to. It was always empty when I walked by, which usually it's not the best sign, but decided to give it a go anyway. To start, the service was bad. It took forever to get our drinks, mainly because it seems like the bartender (who is serving people at the bar, obviously) is the one who has to pour the drinks (even sodas) for those who are seating at the tables. This is not in any way unusual, except for the fact that the waitress was waiting on the bartender to pour our drinks, and he was busy chatting with a group of 4 girls who were seating at the bar. Again, the place was empty, four tables were busy (and there was this very group of loud women at sitting at bar). My dad asked for bread (because they did not give you a bread basket). They prepared 4 pieces of toast in a plate and brought it over by the time we had finished the meal. In addition, we ordered a 28 dollar steak, which was ok, but (and i wish I would have taken a picture) it small size piece of meat with 2 or 3 charred broccoli. I eat very little, and even for me i thought the plate look a little ridiculous. Finally, my mom ordered a diet coke before the meal came (she had initially ordered water and then decided to add a soda after we placed our original order). Again, the bartender was too busy talking to the girls in bar. After asking for my mom's diet coke to the waitress twice I decided to approach the bartender myself (Who, mind you, was still busy talking to the girls), and basically apologized for interrupting him but "i really wanted the coke before my mom finished her meal." My question: how long can it take to serve a soda from the machine?! Anyway, after that, I had to stand up to order the check and then to pay the bill (because the waitress never returned). Never again.
Excellent meal and service but too noisy
We love Dumbo and are always looking for good eats.
We enjoyed the Lobster Mac & Cheese and Chicken Tinga Tacos.
The waitress suggested "Grandmas going to Cape Cod" for a cocktail, spot on for my taste.
Lighting was a little dim, the place was busy and everyone seemed to enjoy there meal.
We saw a variety of cliente, families, couples and groups.
Our meal was reasonably priced for the area, portions are small and side are ala carte
but I can't justify paying $9 for sweet potato fries.
