Nobody tells me that PB hotel was closed. No answer at thelephone.
The food was very nice but waited half an hour for it
We had 3 courses, excellent local produce,Excellent quality good value for money, excellent service too, would highly recommend & would go back again
By 5pm, no Sunday Roasts were available. We had a very average and rather tasteless burger and fish and chips. Very poor substitutes.
Always a great eating experience, we are there twice a month sometimes three, eating in bar area is nice looking over the channel to France and near by Sandwich and Deal. Restaurant airy but sea view is good if you are a giraffe.
Great service and pricing.
High level of cleanliness; staff courteous and well trained; social distancing and hand sanitation prioritised. Good choice of starter, main and dessert.
I asked for a violet flavoured gin and soda but could only taste soda water. The burger my husband had was very average both in flavour and presentation. My fish was covered in too much batter.
Absolutely Gorgeous setting and lovely food and brilliant service
Lovely venue on the balcony.
Though felt rushed by staff deapite not being busy.
Wonderful lunch with a view!!!! super staff!! Great value for money!!! Highly recommend
Lovely food great views. Staff were great. Recommend this place. I will go back. Ps easy parking
during the dark days of Covid-19 we spent a lovely few days on the Kentish coast and visited this lovely pub/restaurant on the edge of the water. The food was scrumptious - definitely the best chips I have eaten in many years - soft and fluffy inside and crisp outside. We had a seafood starter with whitebait, calamari rings and the like - all so fresh and yummy. Our mains were steak and burger. Both super. No space for pudding I'm afraid. The location was lovely - great views over the estuary and the setting sun. Service was attentive and really thoughtful.
Lovely restaurant, views were beautiful! Service was great and felt safe covid-wise. There were only 2 vegetarian meals and both were quite spicy but still very enjoyable
Do not be deceived by an inauspicious exterior and dated interior. The terrace enjoys amazing views and the fish and chips were excellent. Great value too.
Beautiful view with lovely food and great service
Was lovely meal cannot fault the food was a little concerned about social distance between tables
Great place to eat. Good food. Staff are helpful. Would recommend
Excellent views over Pegwell Bay. Fast efficient service, good selection on the menu. Generous portions. Good to old fashioned service and food. We go there a lot and are never disappointed.
Very quiet! Only diners for a while - perfect! Parking no issue.
Food lovely and social distancing taken seriously.
Can recommend.
Friendly staff with well separated tables outside looking over the bay.
We just had fish and chips. Cod fresh and chips home made and just right.
Lovely view on a sunny day. Service was excellent as was the Covid measures put in place. Food was delicious and good portion size. Good value for money. We will definitely be returning.
We had a really nice evening. The food and service was amazing.
A lovely evening, very warm welcome and excellent food. Went for my husbands birthday and after 2 enormous courses, had absolutely no room for dessert. Richard, however, along with Darren, had other ideas and brought out an amazing dessert, along with candle and 4 spoons! Many, many thanks to both for going absolutely above and beyond to make our night extra special. We’ll see you again next time we’re in Ramsgate ❤️
Cheerful staff, friendly and helpful. Excellent food.
Good service and attentive staff, vegetarian wellington was good just lacking gravy or sauce, a minor point, enjoyed by a table of 6.
Nice roast as usual. Attentive staff.
It was very quite the evening we went but was to be expected as between Christmas and New Year. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The food was very good. Will definitely be back.
Lovely setting overlooking the bay. Excellent food, good customer service and quiet environment so chance for conversation
service was great have spent great lengths of time waiting for waiters so seeing staff within ear shot was good.the food was served as you would want from home the cold food chilled and hot food well not as some resteruants the reverse. enjoyed shrimp cocktail the shrimps were fresh not freezer fresh. the bay in the name gives an outlook worth travelling to see on a clear day you can see France.
Lovely food and service. But the menu online is different to the menu in the restaurant.... so I had already looked online at the menu and pre chosen what I was going to have, to then find out the menu was different when I got there (with not that many things on their I actually liked) which was a bit disappointing, I kind of had to make my own meal which ended up being a chicken breast, palma ham with a side salad for £15. It was lovely to taste but maybe just update the menu so it’s the same would be fab!! Going out for a chicken breast an side salad wasn’t quite like eating out!
We had a 3 course meal for our 1st wedding anniversary, food was excellent, very helpful and friendly staff. Will definitely be coming back
Good service helpful staff, great food, lack of ambience on the evening we went as the restaurant was empty, bit dated furnishings, will be returning!
My goodness how amazing was our visit. I have an allergy to milk. Not only were there options I could have. They even made me a dessert ad hoc because the only option i could have had I didn’t like. I am a great and loyal fan now.
Beautiful venue, excellent food, excellent service
Very lovely indeed. Just would have liked a bit more choice on the menu.
One starter portion was absurdly large, unnecessarily so and the beef and ale pie was inedible, I think the beef had been burnt. Thus we were very disappointed. The staff were charming and courteous and the location can't be bettered. Shame about a crowd of rowdies in the bar. Don't think I will be returning.
The food was a little disappointing. I had the roast dinner and the yorkshire puddings were like cardboard. I did mention this and the waitress very kindly brought a plate of yorkshire puddings but we had finished our dinner at that point! There was no stuffing but there was a sausage wrapped in bacon but this was very fatty and VERY cheap tasting. No offer of recompense for my poor dinner sadly.
Lovely family Sunday dinner at the Seaview, Pegwell Bay Hotel. Fab service. Nothing was too much trouble and the dinner was lovely! Thank you.
Food was great but not so great having to pay a premium for lamb on Easter Sunday no where on menus stated this
Food was perfectly acceptable pub grub. The restaurant was very quiet for a Saturday night but service was hit and miss. We would have had coffees but all the waiting staff had disappeared and by the time anyone came to take our plates we`d gone off the idea. The pub is local to me so will probably go again but not for a special occasion as just not very special.
