The quality of the food wasn't at the level expected. The chicken wasn't warm enough and the steak was over cooked. The desserts were also different than what was advertised and it felt like bar food...

Giving POD's musical themes without any music being played was disappointing...

Failing that, it was a cool venue and the staff were very attentive and friendly.

Nice atmosphere , good service. The food was way too much for 2 people, I though is going to be a tasting menu as it says on their website.
Overall we had a really good dining and evening.

Did not realize this was in the backyaerd of the Marriott not well advertised. Also did not realize this was a tasting menu. The food was not the best. No ambiance. Over priced by a lot.

The food was terrible! After our mains turning up cold twice we decided we did not want to continue and left. The pod idea was nice but our lights shut off and we were sat in the dark for a while. Our light feature on our table wasn’t working and had to ask 3 times for it to be sorted. We received cold food not even luke warm, the vegetables were cold! After complaining we sending it back, the second time nothing was steaming hot and was all only just warm but not warm enough to eat. It put us completely off the experience so we decided to leave. The staff were nice and understanding about this... which made me think this must have happened before. Paying a minimum of £100 we did not expect this poor quality. I would not go back

Domes are a great idea in this Covid situation. We throughly enjoyed everything specially. I would like to thank the staff for their service when all the domes were busy but the staff made sure we were looked after well.

I booked this venue for my birthday celebration afternoon tea with friends. The pod idea was unique and everyone enjoyed the ambience, food and service. We all had a great time. When we moved from the pod to the bar area after our sitting, I accidentally left my birthday cards on the table. Unfortunately I didn’t realise this until the following day. I called the restaurant 3 times during this week and was told that Anna would call me back once she had checked with the staff who were working at the time and lost property department. It has now been a week and I have not received any calls at all. It is very disappointing that the customer service is very poor considering the service on the day was brilliant. It has left me with an uncomfortable feeling and reflects my overall rating of this booking.

We arrived and before we had been shown to our pod was told this is the menu you will get tonight! I said we want to order drinks and be settled first. All I can say now is this: they had no champagne, food was dreadful, why the pods are named after stars I really don’t understand as no music is played,
No table cloths on table and food served cold.

- At time of booking it stated we had a two hour slot for 2-4pm, I took a screen shot so all information at the time of booking was documented
- On the day we encountered terrible traffic and called 40 mins in advance (1.20pm) to notify we'd be 15-20 late and understood we'd eaten into our time (pardon the pun) & would still be happy to leave by 4pm
- Shortly after we got a call from RMA to say that she'd booked a birthday party for 3.30pm in our pod & that she needed it & that wed'd apparently had greatly inconvenienced her.
- We stated we booked a two our slot & would leave by 4pm, to which she replied " no ma'am, check your facts on open table, its a 1.5 hour booking, all the information is up to date."
- She was quite curt when I protested with "facts" and then hung up on me with "fine."
- I arrived at 2.13 apologised & my husband and kids joined me at 2.20
- i showed her the screenshot which she ignored
- Theres no wheelchair/pushchair access even though I called to ask about this as we were bringing a newborn, staff could clearly see we were struggling with the pushchair but didn't offer to help
- The tables are bare, so are the dirty chairs, menus are stained with food and drink
- What is or isn't included in the afternoon tea isn't made clear, I wanted to order additional drinks but when I mentioned this, 3 random mocktails just turned up without us making a selection
- sandwiches were ok and a good variety of pastries
- tea & coffee were't so great, asked for hot milk but got cold milk for my tea and my husbands coffee was bitter and rushed, it definitely wasn't a latte as it was almost black with a distinctive layer of white foam
- we would've reorder but theres no bell/buzzer to get staffs attention, it all depends on if and when they decide to turn up inside your pod to give you whatever is next
- not once were we asked if we were ok & if we needed refills
- staff were dismissive & did not ask about our experience when left

So disappointing. Although this is sold as a themed pod, it is only a picture outside. Do not expect anything else.

Food was nice but the service was disjointed and the toilets were not cleaned for the whole time we were there (6 hours in all) Signs were displayed to wear masks in the hotel but this wasn’t adhered to by any guests there. A shame as we expected a lot more from this experience.

Not much option on the menu to choose. While sitting in the dome mice came running inside.. Food was cold. had to leave the dome at 9:15 and had dessert in the bar.. what’s the point of spending that much money if they were not allowing us to sit in the dome after 9.. never again

Good idea. Poorly executed.
Pods lacked atmosphere and ambiance.
Menu was a strange mix with no theme. The set menu included, fish and chips, steak, curry.

We went to celebrate our wedding a anniversary.
Venue more suited to groups rather than intimate dinning.

We booked champagne cream tea for 5 weeks in advance and confirmed the day before. We arrived on time. The table was not ready for us on arrival. The ‘pod’ was bare and not themed as advertised. We were served with cheap Prosecco, the waiter confirmed it was Prosecco twice. When I asked for champagne were were advised that it was now champagne that had been served. It was not.
We waited 40 minutes for service, when served we had only 4 cream teas delivered. There were five of us at the table. I had to ask for the fifth.
The food was ok, nothing amazing and low in quantity, the scones were warmed but from stale.
There was very limited poor customer service and the whole experience was less than special. We were celebrating an 18th birthday but it was not a special venue or experience in any way.

The visit started off well, we received a warm and friendly reception from the staff and even though we were early we were told our dome was ready. However, the dome itself was disappointing. It felt like a conference room in a plastic box. Conference room type table and tired looking conference room type chairs. Didn't seem all that clean either. There was no effort put into decoration or anything at all, for some reason the menus were the London winter garden (it was still August?) the cocktails were probably the only half decent thing about the visit. The food was simply average but nothing to write home about, and service was fairly slow.

The staff were very welcoming and perfect hosts all through our time here,
They made my daughters celebration a very good experience,
The food was good although we were expecting a few more savouries other than just sandwiches on our afternoon tea and it would of been nice to have table clothes on the tables
Would come again when in the area

The pods are fun to eat with friends. Really need some low music in them, we used our phones. Food good but nothing fancy.
Could be nicer tables and chairs and a little bit fancier, they seemed to be for office board room. But overall enjoyable. Service is good, peasant staff.

Expected something special. It wasnt. Advert states each pod has a celebratory status....we thought this would mean their music in the pod whilst having our cream tea. No atmosphere. Put our own music on using mobile. Tables were damaged and need replacing. Quite disappointed.

A wonderful afternoon tea in the dome in the garden. The service was excellent, with hand sanitiser stations placed in several areas, and staff wore face masks and gloves. Our group felt welcomed and were very well looked after. The food was fabulous and no one left with an empty stomach!
As it was an extremely hot and sunny day, it would have been nice to have a cover over the top of the dome to block the searing sun. Although there was an air conditioner inside the dome, it was still quite hot.
Would definitely go back, maybe for dinner to experience the fairy light ambiance.

The garden pods are absolutely lovely, cosy, and cute! They had blankets and heaters so it was very warm. The church played music in the background but I imagine we got lucky that it was a Sunday. Otherwise it is too bad that they don't have music, especially considering it is "BRIT Awards" themed!

The tea selection was varied and nice. And the cups and saucers were very pretty. However, the food was underwhelming, particularly the desserts. I had contacted them beforehand to ensure that they could accommodate a lactose-intolerant diet, which they assured me that they could. Sadly, this just meant no baked goods for me - only fruit, which is extremely disappointing when you are having afternoon tea for a special occasion! We were further disappointed with not receiving the glasses of champagne that came with our deal.

The staff were very kind and nice when present but they were not very attentive. We had to leave the pod and go inside a few times to ask for more hot water, tea, and our scones.

All in all, it's cute and lovely but do not go for the food or service but rather just a quirky, cosy location in a nice garden in busy London.
