Semolina never disappoints. It's our home away from home!
Dined after Semolina for the first time for a girls night. All three of us devoured our entrees and thoroughly enjoyed dessert. The homemade pasta was to die for, ample portions, and presented beautifully. I chose Carbonara - solid choice. We loved the liveliness of this cozy byob!
I like that the restaurant is farm-to-table, with a list on the back of the menu of the local farms and dairies that they work with.
As usual food and service @ Semolina are outstanding. It is one of my favorite restaurants. If we going to be in the Red Bank area I always make a reservation for dinner. This time my husband had lamb meatballs for an appetizer which he loved. My choice was the beef tartare it is one of the best that I have eaten and never pass it up. For dinner, my husband had the semolina dusted skate wing, and I had the beet risotto w/ gorgonzola & hazelnuts (delicious). And of course, don't pass on dessert. We shared the dark chocolate torte. Delizioso!!!
Our reservations were for 4:30. At 6:11 as we were wrapping up with desert, another waiter, not a manager, came up to our table and rudely warned us that we must leave at 6:30 because the table was reserved for another party. First of all, we were finishing our desert and would have been out by 6:30 anyway. Second, open table made reservations for 4:30 and not for 4:30-6:30. We were so upset that we didn’t finish our desert, got up and left. Rude!!!!
This was a birthday celebration for my partner of 12 years. He was very impressed and enjoyed the food and experience. We were the only people of color in the restaurant that evening. Our server appeared to have difficulty in finding a way to be comfortable in serving us. We observed her being more natural and comfortable with other guests. The meal was outstanding which was deemed by my partner.

A gem helmed by an amazing chef and team. The Semolina family is top notch —making us feel like family too—they went above and beyond for some special requests just this week. And the food! Oh the food! Sourced, cooked and presented beautifully. “Farm to table” is overused these days but this just truly is.

The experience was great. The restaurant had a great ambiance and was quiet for a tight space. The waiter was wonderful and made some recommendations that were fantastic. The food was so fresh and well-prepared. I will definitely be going back to Semolina.
Outstanding restaurant. Only issue is Saturday night people were hanging around too long and not leaving but otherwise incredible food, service. Just amazing

Food was delicious! Although there is not a lot on the menu and no nightly specials, I think there is something for everyone. Service was extremely good, our waitress recognized us from a previous time there and couldn’t have been nicer

Had a lovely meal at Semolina. The food was terrific, and our server Karen was fantastic! We arrived at 5:00, and the restaurant was quiet until 6:30.
As usual the food was delicious and the service was warm, friendly and efficient. Semolina never disappoints.
Unfortunately, disappointed. The food is excellent but no variation once a menu is set. That means there is no ability to have pasta, as an example, other than limiting what you are eating. This is an issue because a good deal of their meals include pasta and they have NO gluten free pasta. Additionally, food came out very quickly. Although very good, it is a reason they limit their menu as everything must be pre-made and then just re-heated. (I had chicken, and no way it can come out in 20 minutes if done from scratch).
Unfortunately, due to tremendous noise, limited availability of choices for us on menu, we will not be back.

Semolina never disappoints! We keep going back, this is our go-to restaurant for an outstanding meal every time. The staff is friendly, we get to see the same servers every time we go. They do an outstanding job! From the fresh bread service to the main entrees, it's all delicious and we will be coming back again and again.
The pasta and pork chop were outstanding (as usual!) I'll be back!
First time for lunch, was amazing!
Pleasant staff and nice atmosphere despite being somewhat noisy. A very limited menu. The scallop dish that I had was relatively well prepared but my wife had the roasted chicken which she found to be mediocre.
This was our third time at Semolina and I cant wait to go back. The food and the service have been amazing each visit.
The food was outstanding as usual with top notch service. You absolutely must try Semolina. Loved the burrata appetizer, the octopus and the beef tartare apps as well. The pastas were fabulous and the tuna and scallop entrees were wonderful too.
My friend and I had a wonderful meal at Semolina. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. We shared the whole wheat pasta w Tuscan kale as an appetizer - it was excellent and a great way to start the meal. My friend's pork chop was delicious. I am not sure I would order the cod again - it was good but a little bland.

Once again we had a delicious meal at Semolina. I haven't been disappointed yet and I don't expect to be!
The food is simply out of this world, and it’s matched equally by the amazing service. Karen couldn’t have been more lovely or attentive. I love this place.
Dinner was fabulous. The expanded waiting area looks like it always been there. The dining room felt bigger and the noise level was appreciably reduced. It’s one of our local favorites and never disappoints!
This was our first time dining here. It’s now my new favorite! We shared the shaved winter squash and beet risotto as starters. They were sooo good. Two in our party had the scallops. Amazing! My husband had the pork chop and loved it. We shared the zeppoli’s and the chocolate torte for dessert. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this restaurant. But did I say that our server was so friendly and helpful also! Can’t wait to go back.
