Unfortunately it didn't feel like they'd planned their rota to properly cater for the number of diners. We asked repeatedly for more food and drinks, but had to wait 30+ minutes each time with neither. Staff were smiley but entirely ineffectual. When the bill came out was wrong and had to be recalculated twice. Food was nice, but not worth the wait.
The food was very good, but the restaurant was very loud to the point you couldn’t hear the waitress. Would return on a quieter night as the food is really rather good.
Outstanding, the food was amazing and staff really great!
Gabriela our waitress was amazing! She made our experience that day celebrating my friend’s birthday even better. The cabbage side dish is highly recommended. Don’t miss ordering that!
Had an amazing time at Senor Cevichi while on a weekend away in London. We done the bottomless brunch and could not recommend it enough. Food was AMAZING!!! As was the service. Gabriella could not have looked after us better. Even though the restaurant was chocka block, we never had an empty glass. All the other staff were excellent also. All really seemed to enjoy working there. Highly recommend.
We have been there for a Birthday and went for the brunch. Excellent food and amazing service. Food was delicious, very tasty ceviches and starters. Portions are perfect to try different dishes. Steak was also cooked very well. The service was brilliant. All in all a very good experience. Highly recommended!!
Had a wonderful time at Señor ceviche. We went for the brunch deal which was great value for money. Food was authentic and delicious. Staff were friendly and helpful. Will definitely be back again.
Interesting, fresh food. The cabbage was great. We were offered table right next to the door though, it's December, it's too cold. Given alternative table downstairs, lacking ambience but at least not cold or constantly jostled in the overcrowded main floor. Fix the table layout and this place would get five stars.
Great food and service, what more you want.
Second time here and loved it just much as the first visit. Great staff, tasty menu and chilled vibe.
Food was different but not so tasty. The meat was very tuff to chew. I wouldn’t go back. Service was also not on point. Guests would be walking in standing around because the staff were doing something else. Also staff would be leaving and entering the restaurant frequently.
I went in October and it was fabulous, great service and the food was fab. However this time, I don’t know what was going on, but the food came out so slow, the drinks were so slow, we had to ask three times for a glass of prosecco. Our table was constantly empty with food and drinks. I was disappointed because I was excited to show my friends how great it was. I actually left hungry at a bottomless brunch. It was such a shame...
Delicious, we really loved all of the food and the Pisco sours were very tasty. Great lunch set menu and really good value for money. The venue was very narrow so a bit busy but we generally loved it and the food wa s exceptional. Can’t wait to go back
Good food, friendly service but I was glad to be sitting in the basement as the main dining area was very full and very noisy.
Amazing food! Especially the grilled beef heart & mushroom gyoza. We ordered the gyoza twice & we’re not vegetarians.
Very helpful waitress (sorry, I forgot her name). Everything she recommended was delicious. She also suggested that we come for brunch for a better deal. Thank you for taking care of us & made our girly night memorable.
Dessert: I love the brûlée. Not too sweet but I’m not sure about the pineapple ice cream that goes with it.
Definitely will come back. Despite the allocated time slot, we were not rushed or asked to leave. ❤️
We have been to Senor Ceviche a number of times but on this occasion (and not for the first time) the staff just kept bringing the ordered dishes even though there was clearly no space on the small 2 person table for many dishes. This really spoils the experience and we will not be returning until they get their act in order. We put some dishes on an adjoining (empty) table but the staff then wanted to seat other customers there and move our dishes to our table. When I said "where do you think they are going to fit?" they relented and seated the customers elsewhere until we had reduced (eaten) the number of dishes in front of us. The food is very good but the service isn't - we were lucky there was a spare adjacent table. I wouldn't blame the serving staff as this must be management policy to deliver dishes when they are ready, even when there is no room!
The Bottomless Brunch is amazing value for money and the staff were brilliantly friendly. Barely finished a dish or drink and they'd offer you another. Definitely going back.
All the waitresses that we had were really lovely and knowledgeable. The food was delicious, particularly the chicarones. The only comment i'd make would be a slightly larger menu would be nice (so there's more to try next time i go!) but overall a great meal and i'd definitely recommend!
The food is excellent but the service was quite terrible. The waiters kept forgetting some courses. One of the main courses arrived half an hour after the others when we were ready for dessert and one of the sides never arrived. There were only 2 desserts to chose from and when we wanted to order we’ve discovered that a large table has ordered the second option (Which half of our party wanted) so we could only choose a crème brûlée. We were wondering why the waiter even bothered giving us the dessert menu instead of just telling us. We left and had dessert at a different restaurant which is a shame, especially when our birthday boy was granddad (80 years old).
Good place to have dinner with friends. First time in this branch, have been to Kingly street often. Food is great and tasty, good value. Wine was so so for the price you pay. Would come back.
The service was outstanding and though the tables were tightly packed it didn't feel too crowded. The reason I won't be returning is the size of the portions...tiny.
A good number of well made dishes that can be shared. Good, friendly and helpful service.
Excellent in all areas - would recommend as great service great food
Nice food although rather small portions for the price. I think they should make it more obvious it is Peruvian Japanese fusion as I have an allergy to soy so my options were rather limited.
Very good food and great service. possibly too good. As the six (tapas) dishes between two of us all arrived at the same time, which meant that our dining experience was over in 45 minutes! Next time (as we will definitely be returning), we'll stagger our order or at least ask that it doesn't all come at once.
The food was very good with a great selection of ingredients, flavours and textures. We felt it was pretty good value too.
Amazing food ! We had the lunch special which was like a tasting menu and it was fabulous. I will definitely visit again.
Good service and enjoyed the menu - a good balance of dished
Been twice; once with friends in the evening, and another for a weekday lunch. The evening experience was better than the lunch. For lunch, there was a lack of vegetarian options in the set menu. The food was good both times. The cocktails during the evening experience were very good.
Really good, fresh and original. About pricy but worth the experience. Staff welcoming and helpful.
Me and my boyfriend dined there before and then decided to go back for our 1st year anniversary, we love it, the food is delicious and the service is impeccable
Came for lunch with a friend a couple of weeks ago; we shared 7 dishes all of which were outstanding, especially the pot stickers, chicharrones, ceviche, ribs and sweet potato fries.
With a couple of beers and a good bottle of Chilean cabernet the bill was just under £100.
Not especially cheap but good value for this part of London.
Fantastic friendly knowledgeable service.
Food was delicious, but for groups is better to order lots and lots of dishes, portions are very small, and if you are sharing, everybody ends up getting a tiny spoon of each dish
Normally very buzzy, the place seemed quite lack lustre this evening, the tequenos were a little flat, and for some reason the menu seemed smaller (may just have been me!)... otherwise food as as good as always. We were also asked to leave almost as soon as we had finished our meal, which was kind of abrupt for a Saturday night - apparently this was for work the next day and the cleaners were in early - but we should have been told this at the time of booking, as I probably would have gone elsewhere if I'd known we'd be ushered out after our meal...
Unusually underwhelmed this time by this experience, normally "great" this time just "OK".
A great find for a birthday/get together occasion with friends. It was the first time we've had Peruvian cuisine (and it won't be the last). We selected 2-3 different dishes each and was all very tasty and flavoursome.
The restaurant had a good vibe and the staff very helpful.
Would recommend and definitely come back.
Quite average. From the ratings I saw I expected much better.
Called and changed the booking for 6 people, however, ended up with a really cramped table for 4 as they thought we were a group of 5. Food was tasty and service was very swift, however, expect crazy noise level on a Saturday brunch.
A wonderful brunch, unusual dishes, spicy and full of flavour. It was delicious and something a bit out of the ordinary. I would definitely go back!
The ceviche was really nice but we weren’t impressed by the rest of the food we had ordered. The overwhelming flavour was burnt food. The staff were very helpful and knowledge about the gluten free options but as the recommended number of dishes is six between two we struggled have enough dishes and choice.
Loved it had a great night, food outstanding and very yummy, small plates and you can order more if you want and we did as the meal progressed you aren’t kept waiting for long.
