Superb! Did the tasting menu!
Better than ever. We always love SER - food and service are genuinely 5 star.
Amazing! Went for restaurant week lunch and enjoyed it so much I’ve already made another reservation. Great lunch spot for families or dates. Food was so good and would recommend the red sangria!
Nice place to gather with friends. Good food, a bit noisy inside.
We had a very good dinner here on Friday evening Restaurant Week. We found everything quite good, better than we remembered our prior visits some two years ago. My wife had the hanger steak; I had the trout - both were tasty as were the entrees and desserts. Service (Radis) was good and, while the full room was not quiet, one could comfortably talk at the table. We will certainly add Ser to our list of worthwhile and convenient Arlington restaurants.
Ok, I realize it was restaurant week and I applaud the effort to do a menu for it but staff was apparently overwhelmed. We must of sat there with our menus for at least 20 minutes before we were approached and drinks took a long time to appear and never offered a second. The food was good and perhaps I’d go back and give it a second chance but was somewhat disappointed on this trip. And BTW, parking is underneath..approach on a different street and validation then costs you $2
Great service and delicious food.
Food, ambience and service were exceptional. I would have loved to see all traditional/typical food choices.
Great time with friends - excellent service and the food was unique and delicious. A nice change from the typical Spanish tapas food with great seafood entrees and cocktails.
This is our favorite Arlington restaurant. Great food, great wine and cocktails, great service.
The food never disappoints, and the ambiance on NYE was fantastic. Always good!
Great New Years dinner. Wonderful 5-course special menu. Great service.
Always a great meal at SER. Great service and excellent Gluten-Free options
Excellent service with good recommendations from our server. We ordered several small plates, some we liked a lot better than others. Next time we will have a better handle on what to order. The four of us agrees that the shrimp small plate and the vegetable one with a cheese disk on top were superb.
I am a smallish (5'-4", 122 lb) woman. So the small portion that left me hungry after eating dinner was a surprise. It was the same for the other three people in our party.
Sorry I ordered churros for dessert, it was a disappointment. The chocolate mousse barely had chocolate flavor. The churros were meh.
I had a great lunch with a couple of colleagues. Great food and friendly service. I will be going back.
Always a great dinner, friendly/attentive service and excellent wine.
As always, SER was outstanding! Sergio made sure we were taken care of.
Food was not tasty: no flavor, steak was burned, microwaved mussels.
The food makes the experience, you have to try the:
Presa de Cerdo Ibérico Ahumada $32 • Smoked Pork Shoulder, Papas Arrugadas, Mojo Picón.
New menu items were outstanding, including tuna tartare and poached sea bass. Same excellent service and wine list. A true neighborhood gem.
First the critical feedback: I felt there should have been both a better verbal and written description of the tasting menu. We waited for seemingly a long time before being greeted at our table, but it could have been a shift change, so no big deal. We ordered the medium seafood platter as an appetizer, everything tasted good, but the crab that was featured on the menu came in a condiment cup along with the other condiments. It was confusing and then a little unsatisfying that a featured item was presented in this way and the portion was that small. We told the reservation Ap that we were celebrating an Anniversary, but no mention was made by the restaurant.
The good stuff: our waitress was very pleasant and engaging, the restaurant was well appointed, i liked the coat racks placed around for folks to hang their coats. The food was all very good. especially liked the seafood paella, the shark, and the ropa veaja stuffed peppers.
Final note: Most restaurants in this area that are any good are also expensive for what you receive and so was SER. I would return, but it would need to be another occasion, can't afford to go here just on a Friday night out.
Pre-theater dinner with mom and in laws- was wonderful!
Everything was fantastic! The food was amazing, excellent wine choices and great service. We will definitely be back soon!
Everything was wonderful but the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation.
Whether it’s a special night out, brunch with the kids, or (our newest experience) SER’s Sunday Supper, our meals at SER never disappoint. Thanks to all who make dining at SER a wonderful experience every time.
Better than ever. Hadn't been for a while, same great atmosphere and service as always and the food was spectacular. The menu featured a number of new delicious items - in my opinion this has to be one of the best restaurants in the DC area.
We went there to try the Sunday Supper as listed on their website but was very surprised to find it NOT listed on their menu. Major disappointment. They should really update their website because we’d ordered a seafood dish that I’m also not able to find it online either was made way too salty. The other dishes we’d were fine.
Went there for early Sunday dinner. There’re more crowd a little later. Food is great, drinks even better! We ordered churros for dessert, the waiter said it should be 4 instead of 3 pieces we got. So, they generously compensate the 1 piece of churros with a whole plate of flan which is very tasty! Highly recommended!
The food is always great. I was disappointed that in a Spanish restaurant the server did not speak Spanish. The restaurant was nearly empty as it was brunch on a Sunday. There was no noise but a bit of Spanish (not Mexican or salsa) music would’ve appreciated.
Our favorite neighborhood restaurant. Good food, great wine selection, good cocktails
Great restaurant that we love to go to with friends.
Always a wonderful experience at SER. The seafood paella is the best ever. Excellent service...thank you, Walter!
Our waitress was kind and excellent. The food was wonderful. Especially the butternut squash soup. I made a special request for another mayonnaise instead of the tartar sauce on my smoked salmon sandwich and the chef kindly changed it. This was my first time and I will be returning.
The service was great! Nice ambience, but really surprised by how disappointing the food was. Looked great, yet very wet texture (for salmon) and lacked flavor. Good wine selection. I had high expectations I guess.
I brought my mother- in- law for restaurant week dinner, although we chose to dine off the regular menu, we thought it was pretty affordable for a special night out. We had a great time and she will be being my father- in- law back to eat.
I've been to SER multiple times and enjoyed the experience, so I was excited to try their Arlington Restaurant Week menu. The appetizer and dessert portions were fairly good, but the pork loin main dish really was a disappointment. The meat was sliced incredibly thin, pre-cooked, and then finished on the grill. To make it look good, deep grill marks were pressed into the thin loin cuts, which left too much ash on the meat and made it terribly hard and dry. The plate had some very good vegetables but there wasn't any sauce, so the meat was even more glaringly not a success. All in all I wish I'd ordered off the regular menu.
We enjoyed the Restaurant Week menu- portions perfect for lunch. The food was delicious and attractively presented. This was our second visit to Ser. We look forward to the next!
