Overall wonderful experience! Staff, food, setting-everything was fantastic! Looking forward to another visit!
Always Great: the food, the service, and the ambience are always terrific and you can’t go wrong. We love everything we’ve tried and the desserts are great with the new pastry chef as well. Ask Michelle, the bartender, for a tiki drink or choose one from their drink menu or have a glass of wine. Sit back, relax, enjoy the experience!
We’ve been coming to Serafina for 25 years. I am always amazed by the consistent high quality and attention to detail. Tonight was no exception. Food was superb and service was perfect. Serafina will always be our favorite restaurant.
Food and wine were fantastic! Gelato too. Our server too. Friends are Italian American, and they know Good Italian food. They loved it. We all did. Thank you. We will be back!!
Nice neighborhood welcoming restaurant- at least that’s how we out of town folks felt! Excellent service and good food. Would not hesitate to recommend.
We were seated close to the restroom and the smell was horrible throughout the dinner. We couldn't enjoy it with that setting. Food was ok but not exceptional and definitely overpriced.
Great food, wine and service every time. A true Seattle gem!
Service was very good although the place was not busy so can't comment on peak times. The food was OK although nothing worth writing home about. I found the daily pasta on the salty side the the daily chicken special was dry. In fairness, they took the chicken off the bill. The other 2 diners liked their food. I would give the place a B-.
We absolutely loved the bread and dipping oil. Try the octopus appetizer. It was amazing!
Serafinas used to be our favorite do to Seattle restaurant. We still like it but the cost has grown exponentially. We really did not like the extra 4% tagged onto the bill for the kitchen staff.
We normally tip 20% however we have never seen an additional 4% for the kitchen staff. Made us confused as to what the server got, we did tip 15% to her.
The food is good however very, very expensive. Dinner for two was $150, two glasses of wine.
No place better for sure! We were gone for five weeks and first night back went for dinner! Al the staff are terrific and the meals are always fantastic. They have a new pastry chef and dessert was the best we’ve ever had anywhere!! We have our fave items but honestly everything t is terrific on the menu. During summer you can enjoy the patio as well!
Second visit here. Really great the first time, second time was decent. Food was excellent, although choices with most specials being out seemed limited. It will certainly always be on my list of places to go.
Had a delicious meal here with my daughter -- great food, great service, and really nice ambiance on patio
Wish they had music. Everything else was just fine for a date with my wife.
Halibut dish tasty. Somewhat surprised that extra bread was charged at $4.50.
Server needs to mention about this extra cost. But overall, the food itself was good.
Serafina is a gem
I am always pleasantly surprised by the care Of presentation, the timing of the courses and the layers of complex flavors that are coaxed from the fresh ingredients . Serafina is one of the best restaurants in town .
A special restaurant for any occasion. A favorite warm weather spot with a patio that instantly transports you to Italy. A shout out to our fantastic server, Brian.
Serafina continues to be one our favorite Seattle restaurants! The food is excellent, the cocktails are creative, the service is impeccable, the atmosphere both in and outside is lovely. It is just so hard to beat that we keep coming back! Thank you.
Went to Serafina for lunch to celebrate a friend's birthday. Weather was beautiful and we sat on the patio which was delightful. Waitress was friendly and helpful. Our group shared so we could taste everything. Salads were good, but buccatini pasta dish was rather bland as was tortellini. My eggplant (vegetarian) and pasta dish was quite rich but tasted fine. All in all the ambience overshadowed the food and we enjoyed ourselves.
This was my first visit to Serafina and I was extremely impressed with the service (very patient and helpful) and the food. I had the fixed price lunch which, for $20, was quite a deal. Every bite of each of the four courses was heavenly. I haven't tasted Italian food so authentic, with sumptuous, subtle spicing and rich textures in many, many years. Kudos to the chef!
Great food. Good serving sizes. Relatively good wine. Crowded. Noisy. If you have trouble hearing, this is not for you. A little too expensive for the overall product.
I went here for my birthday dinner and it was perfect. Our server Brian was extremely attentive and adjusted our service to keep the pace we wanted, nice and slow! He always came to our table and the right time without overcrowding or rushing us. I would come back just for his superb service. The food was exceptional- had the pork chop and the pasta Nero
I love Serafina. The atmosphere is warm. The service and food are excellent. One warning--it is very loud so it is difficult to hear, which causes people to speak louder, which exacerbates the problem. It would be better if there were a bit more distance between tables but I suppose that is not cost effective.
Food was good as always. We had the appetizer that included crispy zucchini, grilled peaches with pepper dusting, and sheep's milk cheese (get this with the bread!) and then lasagna and eggplant involtini followed by dessert. Our server was always available when needed without being obtrusive. The fellow bringing water was friendly too. We asked for a particular wine that they didn't have, but they came to our table with two alternatives that were good. The windows were open to the warm evening and even though we looked out on Eastlake traffic noise was never a problem. So we felt well taken care of.
one of my favorite restaurants, only wish it was a bit more wheelchair friendly
Really enjoyed it. I will be back
Our server was fantastic! Very attentive
Had a Mother’s Day reservation and we sat outside. Great weather, good food, awesome service from Beth and team. Hostess greeted us with a huge smile and we felt like we are a t friends house. Great compliment to the management and team.
$40 for the $8-$10 bouquet of flowers without a vase or wrapped was steep, but I understand they’re not florists and there’s a markup. Food was okay, but over priced for comparable food in the area at this price point. I’d come back again, but will be more cautious of value when ordering.
We loved their pasta and seafood dishes for dinner, and dessert was perfect. Outside seating is beautiful on warm nights!
Always fabulous and the patio is so lovely. We all have been going there for years and we did notice that the portions were a bit skimpier this time, however they were still tasty.
Was Mother’s eve, and we’ve often dined there over the years given any excuse. Always top-notch. Perpetually in Seattle’s top five.
Dining at Serafina is always an event! The food is fantastic, the bartenders are creative, and the servers are great. One of Seattle's gustatory highlights!
All 4 of us thoroughly enjoyed our dinner sitting outside on your lovely terrace where we felt like we were in Italy!! Maybe it was the delicious cocktails too!
My halibut was perfect!
Outstanding every single time. Food is superb from octopus to white salmon. Service is impeccable and ambiance is good for business or romance
What a fantastic pork chop! The patio was nice and the service was great.
Yummy dishes, great service and awesome wine recommendations. Always a treat to dine at Serafina!
Service and food really outstanding
They went way above and beyond to make an amazon special request happen!!!!
Will always be a favorite spot in seattle :)
Fantastic food and charming atmosphere. First time here at night, and it was great!! Plus, they serve Menabrea, my favorite Italian beer. Salute!
Overall my family and I like Serafina very much. I ,in particular, used to go very frequently for dinner every time I was in Seattle, sometimes twice in a week. I visit Seattle about 10 times a year for business and sometimes stay 2 weeks or a bit more. My wife joins me in the trip at least twice a year.
However I must say, my visits to Serafina have been less frequently recently since you took off the Plin from the menu. That was my favorite dish! - so, if you would like to see me around more often, please bring the Plin back.
