Charming restaurant treasure in the heart of Farnham - this is a fantastic restaurant with friendly, helpful staff, a tempting menu and an excellent chef. You can also bring your doggie friends; gluten-free options are on the menu. We will definitely be visiting again!

Visited Serina on Friday for the first time and had a table downstairs for the four of us. Food was excellent: Jacobs Ladder x2, Mussels and Brisket all delicious and presented well. Georgia looked after us from the moment we set foot inside, her service was spot on, engaging with some light hearted chat while attending to all our requests including a few cocktails that weren’t on the menu and arranging a taxi for us at the end of the evening. What more could you ask for! This is definitely a restaurant we would recommend and when we’re back in Farnham it’ll be our first choice. A small piece of feedback; the live music was good but too loud for us to continue our table conversation - dial it down a tad and the evening would be perfect!

Our waiter Luke was amazing. Very attentive, great sense of humour and didn’t rush us out. Food was delicious and they even rustled up a cheese board which was fabulous. We had one member of the party who has a good intolerance but it was no problem for the restaurant. Will certainly be back again very soon.

A very warm welcome by Emma, who continued her excellent service throughout our meal and took very good care of us. Good food choice and our order was beautifully cooked. Live music was a nice addition to Friday night, which served as good background noise as we were seated upstairs. Highly recommend this restaurant

Relaxed atmosphere. Great roast dinner and very good service. Good selection of wines selected to match the food. Was a particularly hot day and too hot to eat in the garden - which looked lovely. Air conditioning would be a nice addition in the restaurant.

The food was very average given the price point aiming for. Our starters were poorly concieved with prawns having shells on but then covered in a thick sauce and no finger bowl of water provded. The mains were cold and lacking in flavour, again wouldn't be so bothered if had the price been cheaper. The staff were lovely and very friendly, just let down big time by the kitchen. Potentially a really nice place, just haven't got the food right.

Amazing food, service wasn’t great though. Took 45 mins to be even given a menu and drinks menu even though it was relatively quiet. Luke our waiter was, however, attentive and engaging. Overall a really nice night but the service (apart from Luke) put a negative slant on the evening for what was otherwise a great meal and lovely restaurant. Also could do with more lighting outside. We essentially ate in the dark when the sun went down and had to use our mobile phone torches to see our food

Hi Mel, Thank you for your honest review. We apologise for the slow start as this is not the kind of service Serina is known for. However, we do appreciate that you did enjoy the food and the service provided by Luke. Staff noted that there were not enough lighting hence candles were palced straight after to ensure that you have a nice experience. Also, extra lighling has been installed in the garden now to avoid such situation in the future. We hope that you will consider this as one off and will visit us soon. Kind Regards, Serina Team
