Tuhin provided great recommendations and was very patient although we were near closing time. We enjoyed our food and drinks very much, especially the burrata with honey. Tuhin was also courteous to take my group's photos on request. Very great service!
There should be a wider range on the menu. They should inform customers when they are having the seasonal decorations of start and end dates.
Amazing service and delicious food! Can’t wait to go back!
Pricey food and drinks but great service and ambience
The ambiance is super cute and well decorated but the food and drinks were horrible. We tried the waygu steak and the pasta, they were both bland and tasteless. Defiantly not worth the money.
It was the first day of the fall menu and it did not disappoint. I started with the Eucalipto, which was gin with a eucalyptus syrup. It sounded more like a drink to have when you have a cold, but our waitress talked me into, and it was actually delicious. All 3 of us had the Zucca E Stracciatella, which was amazing! The fall decor and honey themed menu was rest and we look forward to going back to try some other items on the menu.
The pictures were misleading for the decoration of what we saw online vs what we saw in person. The food was meh, didn’t care for it much. Went there for the ambience and it was not what I expected based on the pictures they put online on their IG page and website.
It’s a really lovely place, but some food does not worth the price (still good though)
Food and drink could have had more options. No Sauvignon blanc :(
It’s in seasonal transition right now so it’s going to look funky
This was the worst experience ever! The server was upset that we did not give the suggested tip which was 22%. He embarrassed by the tip that was provided, show it to his staff and threw our tip out the window. The only good thing about this place is the swing. The food and drinks are ok.
The steak, the calamari, the Bellini, and the chef all things made perfect. Highly recommend the buttered potato balls. Service was phenomenal and the experience was amazing. A must visit!
They took down all the pretty decorations. Feels like a warehouse up there
had one appetizer and two dishes, cost 130 dollars. it was just okay, not much special than I expected.
Feel safe eating there during the pandemic. They take special attention to comply with regulations. The menu is in a way limited, but the chick pea fritter was wonderful.
We went to Serra and expected a beautiful Italian rooftop restaurant but it was a less than adequate experience. The menu is very limited while being very expensive. The waiter took our order, brought the wine and appetizer and then after 45 minutes of not receiving any attention we asked the food runner for the check. Very disappointing as we were excited to dine on the roof of Eatly.
The food was great, zero complaint there. The problems were a couple of other issues, which the restaurant should have handled. One, the flowers were not there. This seems like an integral part of the ambiance, and should be removed in stages or very quickly as to not have them all gone at once. It was rather bare, and not remarkable like the pictures show. Two, we were seated and it took 20+ minutes to get somebody to take our order, we had to flag someone down. They were not excited about taking our order, it was not their table. Three, we were seated by the servers station. Sucks, but whatever, no big deal. Until the servers stop and start talking, in Spanish. They were cursing each other and at least one patron in Spanish, they probably did not expect that I know Spanish. Either way, this was a good restaurant, but these issues really dampened what should have been a very special dinner. Really disappointed for the price and expectations, especially after having reservations for many weeks.
Beware of the word “transition” over the phone, it means void of any decorations. No cocktail sauce with calamari, no addition to pasta dishes (cannot add a protein). Only positive was our server, she was very attentive and made the best of our visit. Will not be returning.
The ambiance is absolutely amazing. The service from our waiter wasn't too hot on the other hand but aside from that the food was tasty and the drinks were super delightful.
The food choices were limited. The overall food experience was average. Restaurants in Eatly serve better food. When we the decore was not impressive either.
I was disappointed because I was expecting the ceiling to be covered in flowers but there were none. The food was 10/10- make sure to get the prosciutto appetizer and the potates side.
The reason people go here is for the ambiance/decorations. I got a call the night before my reservation that they “were in between” seasonal decorations, which is totally understandable, if I would have had some notice. It’s very difficult to get/change reservations now a days in manhattan. The place is not so great without the ambiance.
I love Eataly. Serra was disappointing. The food was ok. It took so long to place an order for drinks, dinner, etc. At one point I had to get up to find someone to come to our table. Drinks were small. I will still visit Eataly as often as I can but I won’t go to Serra again.
Loved the ambiance of the restaurant, the lights were beautiful! Unfortunately, they took down their summer decorations when I went, but it was still a wonderful setting. The food was delicious and the staff was there for any of our needs. Very friendly and I would definitely recommend this place!
wonderful food and service but the staff seem overworked and unhappy.
Magical under the stars
Amazing experience! Decor was lovely and waiter was very nice and helpful. Food was delicious!
Food was alright and pretty overpriced. Service was absurdly slow.
Llegue puntual a la reservación pero mi acompañante buscaba parqueo y no me dejaron acceder al restaurante hasta que mi acompañante llegara , tuve que esperar sentada fuera en una estación de bus
Beautiful space and cute social distancing tables
My friend and I got two drinks and the caprese and prosciutto appetizers. The drink portions were above average (and definitely appreciated for a Sunday Funday brunch), but the odd portions for the caprese and plate of prosciutto were nothing to write home about. For what the meal was my friend and I left feeling like we could have gotten a better meal for less money somewhere else. As cute as the decor was, I don’t foresee myself going back or recommending my friends to go here in the future.
Everything was perfect
Oysters were not that great, but the rest of the food (calamari, wagyu beef, pork) was delicious. Service was awesome and the ambiance (music and decor) was the best part!
NEW YORK CITY LOCATION. My brother first took me to Birreria 10 years ago when I came to visit him in NY. I have always raved about the place and now live here. However, the Birreria I visited today was a severely overpriced dive bar on a roof with horrendous food. To begin, managers who come around and “try to greet guests” should probably not wear ripped jeans, an old, tattered grey sweatshirt, sneakers so dirty they looked brown instead of white, and most importantly have a bad or “I really don’t want to be tf here right now” attitude. We ordered our food about 30 minutes after we arrived (arancini, oysters, a steak and salad with chicken) and our meals literally arrived within 3 minutes. My boyfriend and I were both extremely confused to if this was our food or someone else’s that was canceled, pre-made and just heated up, or if they literally just wanted ppl in and out. The chicken was cold and had absolutely zero flavor or seasoning other than the red wine vinaigrette that came in the salad. The steak that I had asked to be cooked medium, arrived rare and chewy. I had booked Birreria for the next week in advance because of how highly I have always regarded the place, but I will truly never go back now. I’d much rather pay for some great wings at the stumble inn (or any dive bar for that matter) and have my significant other enjoy the experience than be completely horrified and let down by the experience. Also to note: the pictures on open table of Birreria are *not what it actually looks like* - all of the charm is gone.
Such great drinks and beautiful atmosphere! Little bites are great, we had the calamari and charcuterie board
We always enjoy our time at this place. We’ve had many celebrations with our family and friends here and will continue to come back.
Our food was awful. The tuna on the salad I ordered looked like it was from a can and the chicken dish was not cooked. It also took our waiter forever to take our drink and food order. And we waited for awhile for our check
Great food and ambience!
The entire staff was pleasant and accommodating
great service and great food in a beautiful & seasonal environment! definitely recommend!
