I had requested that a candle be put on a dessert for my mum, but that request was not fulfilled.
Waitresses were lovely people, but quite stressy and both returned repeatedly to the table with items, removing items enquiring how everything was, although other waitress has just done so. Also, very difficult to get their attention as they moved through restaurant, when did require something.
We really enjoyed our food it was a good to end a pleasant few days in the Heritage Hotel and we would come again in the future
My brisket was the most dry brisket in the world..
We had a good time in SEVE's though I would like the menu to be more interesting, I will like to see dishes that are different from everyday cooking.
A restaurant with a beautiful view of the golf course, delicious food and service at a very high level. We got there by accident, and we will definitely come back and recommend it.
A nice change away from the hotel if your staying for more the 2 nights, the young staff were lovely and very polite, would recommend to friends
Well i taught the menu was a little poor for such an masking Venue however it was sufficient in the amount on the plate
Absolutely splendid from start to finish
Exceptional food and very friendly staff lovely atmosphere, will certainly be back
Food was excellent, service was very good, overall a pleasant experience.
Very enjoyable tasty lunch, great views across to the Slieve Bloom Mountains and over the Heritage Golf Club. Staff very helpful and friendly. I had forgotten my jacket and Lorcan/Tom had already sent a text within 5 minutes of leaving.
The place was lovely, the food was very nice (when it arrived). It took over 1.5 hours for our main to arrive after we sat down.
Overpriced kids menu with slow service on a limited menu.
We were charged €9 for a soup bowl of spaghetti with tomato sauce for our 1.5 year old.
Service was also very slow and our food was cold when it arrived 40 mins later
Starters were lovely, we had soup and chicken wings, did have to ask waitress for blue cheese. Mains were overcooked, kids goujons were inedible as they were rock hard. Such a pity, we regularly went to Judge Roy Beans at Killenard and it was fab. We won’t be back to Seves.
Lovely restaurant, reasonable hotel prices , great menu . Fab staff
As a party of six we dined in Seves on Sunday night. Our booking was for 8.15, at about 3pm a member of staff called to see if I would change our booking to 7.45 as the kitchen was closing early-I was not told a specific time they were closing but was happy to oblige.
A very friendly and mannerly dark haired waitress took a drinks order initially.
When our full party arrived another waitress, albeit apologetically, told us of the items no longer available on an already limited menu - simple dishes like soup, fish and chips and the chicken burger were unavailable as they had a 'very busy weekend'. The restaurant was very sparely populated when we arrived.
Upon finishing our starters our plates were very quickly taken and almost immediately replaced with our main course. No member of staff came near our table after this point. With great difficulty one of our party requested another glass of water, the waiter did not ask any other member of the party if we would like another drink - or anything else for that matter.
We waited patiently once our plates were cleared for a dessert menu, most of the staff had gathered at the bar at this point and while the stared intently at our table nobody approached us. After 30 minutes - despite public health advice to not approach the bar, I requested the bill and said how we had been waiting for a member of staff to take our tea/coffee order and for a dessert menu. Staff stared blankly at me.
The waitress delivered our bill to the table with a feeble apology about how I had been told the kitchen was closing at 8.15. I had not been told this - if I had our party of six would not have met at Seves.
Overall, this was an extremely disappointing experience, while the food was acceptable, the service (with the exception the lovely girl who took our drinks order initially) was exceptionally poor.
I would not recommend this restaurant and will not be returning.
Food was stunning. Chicken wings were one of the nicest things I have ever tasted. There were delays in the kitchen but the staff were great
Merel and Robyn were lovely. Very friendly and an asset to Seves. My husband enjoyed his goats cheese starter and his steak was cooked to perfection. Unfortunately my food was not good. The prawns pil pil were swimming in oil with giant chunks of raw chilli's and were served with some type of greasy and doughy bread. My main course of ricotta and spinach tortellini was inedible. It was lukewarm, had the consistency of wallpaper paste and very little taste, it also came with the same greasy and doughy bread as my starter. I sent it back and to be fair they offered to cook me something else but by then I just really wanted to go home. They didn't charge for it and knocked a round of drinks from the bill but unfortunately I doubt I would go back or recommend Seves.
Hi, we ate here as a family of 5, wasn’t very busy which seemed good, plenty of staff but we were waiting quite a while for our food. It could have been because my husband ordered steak. When food came it was very tasty and well presented and staff were very obliging and friendly. The floor under our table was quite dirty from previous guests and I did see a manager commenting to staff on dirty floor in another area of restaurant all in all these are only minor faults. I will return and give it another try.
Lovely lunch, beautiful view from the room. Staff were helpful and attentive. Looking forward to going back.
Thanks a mill for the compliments, looking forward to seeing you again.
Impeccable service all around and the food was amazing as expected!
First time there and will defo be back food delicious and fabulous staff
Thank you for such great service, great recommendations from the staff on our desserts and amazing server! We’ll definitely be back! Great to have such a great food option back in Killenard!
