About Seymour’s Parlour, The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone
Stepping into Seymour’s Parlour, you’d be forgiven for thinking you’ve been transported back in time. Set on the ground floor of a 24 bedroom Georgian Townhouse the parlour is awash with curious collections and antique furniture. Candlelit and cosy, guests quickly feel they have stumbled upon a clandestine meeting (and drinking) place. Cocktails are made in collaboration with pioneering drinks creator Tony Conigliaro, with each recipe peppered with carefully concocted cordials, aromatics and tinctures. A quintessentially English menu of hearty small eats and sharing boards has been created as the perfect accompaniment to the heady cocktail list. Yet it’s not all uproarious after-dark revelry in Seymour’s Parlour, the lounge is the perfect setting for a little afternoon indulgence. So much so that Vogue named it as one of London’s top 10 Afternoon Tea destinations. Guests are invited to try Aunt Wilhelmina’s dainty Afternoon Tea or opt for Uncle Seymour’s heartier ‘Gentleman’s Tea’.

Seymour’s Parlour, The Zetter Townhouse Marylebone Ratings and Reviews
I picked because it was close to our theatre. We came in slightly earlier and they accomodated us with a smile. Very nice warm quirky interior. Cosy and excellent for dates or groups. Smiling staff and very nice. Fast service and really friendly. We had nibbles and small eats all were very good. We had proseco, cocktails and wisky and again was very good. The best part was that we spotted a chess board and the floor manager brought to us herself and we played while enjoying wisky and candle light and nice music! Just loved it, fairly priced. A hiddem gem
Could recommend this place enough! Amazing service from the minute we walked in the door. Loved the decor, details were so well thought out even down to the music playing in the background. The food was exceptional, easily one of the best afternoon teas I've been too (and there's been a few). Staff were attentive, but not overly so, and we were given complimentary refills on our sandwiches and pots of tea. One of London's hidden gems!
Great location, great service and great cocktails! The guys were very helpful and made some great recommendations - we ended up working our way through the cocktail list! For the price, the quality was outstanding! This was a group booking too, and the Zetter was more than accommodating. We went on a Thursday night at 6.15ish and the bar became very lively and buzzy by about 7pm. Great for a quiet drink earlier on, for a date, for a group and plenty of special occasions! Please go! PS - we didn't have food but I had to rate the food. I'm sure it's great though; we just had a booking somewhere else.
Almost don't want to encourage people to come here, as it is one of the city's best kept secrets! Not where you go for a meal, but for wine and good nibbles (bit bread-based) in a really lovely environment it's perfect. Loved vibe. It's luxurious, but no snooty behaviour. Great authentic vibe. Thanks all!
I took my girlfriend there on Good Friday eve. The place was quiet and we had a fantastic time. The staff were very helpful - in particular at suggesting off menu cocktails to suit your particular tastes. The cocktails themselves are powerful and slightly understated, but they really let the taste do the talking! Will go again
We had a wonderful visit for Mother's Day and thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience! Service was great, not overly intrusive but spot on. The food was fantastic - particularly the ham sandwiches! Would absolutely recommend to anyone who is wanted to book afternoon tea that is fantastic value and a little bit more original! Thanks so much for everything!
I love Seymour's Parlour. It's great for cocktails in the evening. I booked a table for 6 on a Friday night, to celebrate my birthday. I was the first to arrive, and had to wait quite a while for the next member of my group to join me. The staff were attentive yet patient and made my wait very comfortable. The cocktails are delicious, and whist I was enjoying my delicious champagne cocktail - Le Sphinx - I overheard the couple behind me gushing about how great their drinks were. It's a cosy, atmospheric place with a great ambience for drinks in the evening. I've also had coffee there during the day, where it is very discrete and quiet - perfect for that private coffee, away from the high street chains.
Like it's sister Cocktail Lounge in Clerkenwell, Seymour's Parlour has a sumptuous late Victorian/Edwardian Gentlemens Club feel about it. The service was friendly & efficient & the cocktails a delight based on their recommendations, we had six different ones between two, all different & all perfectly balanced & moorish. Will be returning to both when the fancy takes me.
I've been coming here regularly since it opened. The cocktails are incredible and never disappoint. Although on the pricier side, they are well worth it and the staff really know their stuff.
Beer and Wine is very reasonable and the food is good.
Cosy, intimate and lots of atmosphere, it feels a million miles away from Oxford Street which is only two minutes away. The interior designer must have had an amazing time decorating this space. It's incredible.
Definitely book though as the space is small.
THIS WAS THE BEST AFTERNOON TEA I HAVE EVER HAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The service was impeccable, the decor was DIVINE and the food was spot on. And it was well priced! One of the cheaper afternoon teas I've had. It was a very quirky spot and I cannot recommend it enough. I am also vegetarian and they went out of their way to ensure I had some exciting substitutes with the afternoon tea! Which I really appreciated :) Cannot wait to go back here!!
