Just charming! A very special treat for afternoon tea.
Food was excellent and atmosphere was very cozy. Menu accommodated male guests.
Casual, relaxed dining in beautiful Georgian townhouse offering good service and value with tempting platters of different small dishes. Great for brunch, lunch and dinner. Good for business and social occasions.
Awesome quaint , the quintessential afternoon tea parkour, tucked away discreetly for office romances, away from prying eyes!
We had a wonderful time at Seymour’s Parlour’s. The decor took us back in time and we loved it. We got served the best earl grey tea we’d ever had (worth trying it !!!) and the sandwiches, scones + clotted cream and patries were delicious. We did not order a cocktail this time but we would definitely come back and try some. Thank you !
We had a great time enjoying the atmosphere as well as the lovely afternoon tea set. We’ll be back for sure!
I had Afternoon Tea and absolutely loved it. Wonderful service, Great atmosphere. Definately reccomend it.
A great find in a good central London location. Interesting drinks and food served by knowledgeable staff .
A friend and I went for cocktails, however they were poorly made and badly served. Would not recommend this place, there are a lot nicer places in the area to check out.
This place has potential but I felt the service was really lacking for a £100 afternoon tea for two. The tea itself was nothing special - very run of the mill for which I would happily have paid £20 but no more. The raisin scone had a single raisin in it and the cakes were bland (three very sweet things, mostly full of cream... a varied selection would have been so much better). The tea was weak, without much flavour. It’s saving grace was the room in which tea was served which was cosy, interesting and unique.
Was visiting London for the weekend from NYC. Met up with a friend here for a nightcap and we loved this place. Feels like you're somewhere secret and intimate. If you have a bit of a wander, you'll see signage that is charming and funny. The cocktails are super yummy.
It was a pleasant atmosphere and the food quality was rich and classy. Highly recommend going to see the decor!
Very good cocktails, nice atmosphere, I recommend this area.
On arrival we thought we had found a gem, it is a very lovely setting. We had come for Afternoon tea. Sadly, the food soon let us down. The pasty did not have any filling/flavour, the scones were dry and too much baking soda that it left a dry feeling in the mouth. My guest has a sweet tooth but found the cakes far too sweet.
We ordered a pot of tea: on a positive note, it was loose leaf tea but only offered breakfast blend rather than any afternoon tea blend. We noticed that the tea-pot was only half full ( a cup each) and when asked for a refill of hot water, we noticed the server putting an additional charge to our bill, and again half full. For the price and compared to other reputable afternoon tea hosts, this was cheeky
Service was minimal in that there were big gaps between seeing a server and when a server was about, it was difficult to get their attention. As a consequence, I found rather than enjoying my companion's company, I was continually scanning the room for a server. When I eventually got service, I then had to follow-up after 10-minutes to find out what had happened.
In summary we ran out of interest and any motivation to continue.
I raised my concerns with the management and to their credit, they responded favourably and positively.
This was a lovely setting, but much better value can be had elsewhere. Improvements would be needed before it can provide good value.
A lovely find, great ambience, a cosy, quirky feel with an intimate setting. Dimly lit bar with a hotel lounge vibe, candle lit and quirky interiors. Great service. Attentive yet relaxed staff without unnecessary interruptions.
I’m unable to comment on food/value so the lack of stars in no way reflects lack of quality. I’m just unable to comment.
I would highly recommend this venue.
I enjoyed a nice afternoon tea in the corner of a very quaint elegant and romantic dark room, the tea was very nice, the service was very nice, and the food was delicious! I would go again and tell a friend!
Staff was not welcoming. Had to wait awhile before anyone came to seat me at my table. They didn’t take my coat until my friend came and then hung it up on a big coat stand on top of other peoples coats. The bartender was late and they could not serve us any drinks. They said he would arrive within the hour which is not very reassuring. The staff was slow to take care of us. We left without ordering anything.
Afternoon Tea was arranged for The Occasional Club.
Members were left particularly impressed by the original style, exquisite food and impeccable service.
A true testament to how Afternoon Tea should be delivered.
The Club will return here, gladly.
Lovely setting with friendly staff.
Excellent experience for afternoon tea with great cocktails
I keep meaning to bite the bullet and save up for a room for our next anniversary...it’s a great place -the cocktails are original, subtle and seriously refined - and served very little nonsense and lots of good humour and warmth. It would be nice just once to be able to saunter upstairs after a great evening in the bar/lounge rather than bracing yourself to step back outside for the journey home. The interior is warm and historic/collector/whimsical/chic and diverting without being too overdone - and there is enough room for privacy without it being stuffy and hushed. Worth going for the crispy black pudding scotch eggs with perfectly soft yolks alone btw...hard to share. Don’t rush it - and do try spirits and consider cocktail combinations you wouldn’t normally - it’s worth a little adventure or two here...!
Wonderfully cosy with interesting décor, not too noisy, attentive service and with unflashy but very decent cocktails. Ignore my food star rating - we went solely for cocktails, not food!
Been here several times after work, always best to book,as its a very small place.
Usually go for a few drinks, before heading for dinner in the local area.
I picked because it was close to our theatre. We came in slightly earlier and they accomodated us with a smile. Very nice warm quirky interior. Cosy and excellent for dates or groups. Smiling staff and very nice. Fast service and really friendly. We had nibbles and small eats all were very good. We had proseco, cocktails and wisky and again was very good. The best part was that we spotted a chess board and the floor manager brought to us herself and we played while enjoying wisky and candle light and nice music! Just loved it, fairly priced. A hiddem gem
The food tasted good and was filling but was slightly overpriced.
Could recommend this place enough! Amazing service from the minute we walked in the door. Loved the decor, details were so well thought out even down to the music playing in the background. The food was exceptional, easily one of the best afternoon teas I've been too (and there's been a few). Staff were attentive, but not overly so, and we were given complimentary refills on our sandwiches and pots of tea. One of London's hidden gems!
This was a great place to spend a few hours with friends. Lovely ambience, great food and cocktails and really friendly, helpful staff.
Gorgeous food, great service, beautiful venue. Perfect for the occasion (partner’s birthday) - Highly recommended.
Really lovely environment, gorgeous tea and cocktails!
Seymour's was really comfortable and cosy with awesome cocktails and nice service all round - great place
Intimate setting with friendly staff and great cocktails
Place is lovely and cosy. Perfect for an afternoon tea in winter. Food wasn't great but ok and because of it it's overpriced.
Really nice experience. Brilliant service and setting. Thank you
Great service and welcome on Xmas eve, very tentative staff and good sharing boards.
Excellent cocktails and sharing boards. Recommended.
Lovely drinks and small bites
Service and cocktails are outstanding. Staff friendly and helpful without being over imposing. Love it.
perfect ambiance, very friendly staff. will go back many times
I stay here almost every month and also enjoy an odd initimate evening in seymour’s parlour. Possibly my favourite place in London ☺️
Interesting cocktails and decor. The service is good and atmosphere was great.
Very cosy place and super tasty food, great atmosphere a bit too small though. Delicious cocktails
