Brilliant food. Lived up to the hype
Food was average. Korean fried wings were soggy.
The team had poor communication. My partner called well in advance and also on the morning before we came for my evening birthday dinner to confirm he could bring a birthday cake and to have it served. On the phone, we had the green light and they even said they can provide the candles. Upon arrival, the staff, in their rights, did not want external items handled in the kitchen. But they initially also refused to let us eat the cake on-site. This already dampened the experience. When they changed their mind and let us have the cake, they gave us one plate to share amongst the four of us.
We felt like we were stepping on their toes for something they got wrong.
Sort out the poor team communication.
The food was the highlight. I didn't really enjoy the decor or the background music. I highly recommend the fried chicken. However I felt the portion size for the French toast was a bit small
One of my favourite places to eat in London, delicious!
Me and my wife shared our starters of the sweet sticky chicken wings, and the sea bass - both were exceptional. We then shared our mains of salmon, and Irish beef - loved them both. Atmosphere is chilled, with lots of interesting things to look at on walls. Can't wait to return. A+++++
Chicken wings were epic as was the Short Beef Rib!
Incredible food - we had the tasting menu with sake and were blown away, particularly by the prawn toast, the pork pluma and the miso aubergine. Service was very efficient, with each course arriving hot on the heels of the last and the bill appearing straight after, but not in an unfriendly or unwelcoming way. COVID measures all taken seriously and felt safe. We'll definitely be returning.
Ambience only scored down as I was one of the first to arrive. Toilet sink blocked. Everything else, including food and service, was excellent.
Great staff and buzzy atmosphere. Food was too salty and sweet and A lot was fried. nothing felt fresh.
One of my favourite restaurant in London. Immaculate service, the food is excellent. Completely faultless.
The katsu curry and french toast were great! The restaurant atmosphere is nice too for an informal lunch. The food arrived promptly
Overall the food was nice, meeting my expectation.
Loved the food here! Every dish we had was amazing and I already can't wait to go back.
We had a lovely birthday meal here, the Katsu curries were delicious, as was the dessert. It was great to seat outside as well. Service was wonderful :)
Bottomless Brunches here are always a pleasure. They've finally managed to get the service spot on so that you don't have to keep waving for top ups. Little hiccup with overcooked steak, but overall great. Too bag they don't take bookings for outside, as trying to get a table outside can be a hassle depending on staff on duty.
The food as always was delicious. We had a very attentive waitress who made sure our Prosecco was constantly topped up.
As always I love this place. It’s fantastic! Only wish the vanilla toast was bigger with more ice cream served.
Lovely food and service. However, value for money is where shack-fuyu struggles you pay a lot of money for not a lot of food. I would suggest lowering the price for small plates or increasing portion size. Disappointing given the quality of the food.
Food was great! No social distancing and was very loud inside.
Great food and service, would defiantly go again but at earlier booking.
Amazing food, we had the Korean wings, ceviche, hot stone beef, kale and spinach, and rabbit katsu. Very filling between 2 but soooo good. Only downside was the batter on the rabbit was too hard and salty, and there was too much of it, but we took a lot of the batter off and it was enjoyable like that. The hot stone beef was incredible.
I've heard stuck great things about Shack-Fuyu and finally got to try it for myself. Not only did it not disappoint, it exceeded my already high expectations. The food is amazing and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Thoroughly recommended to anyone with taste buds.
Fantastic staff with a nice twist on the asian food ^.^
Restaurant was a bit loud but the Kinako French toast was definitely the highlight of the meal!
Nice food, kind staff, quick service. Unfortunately the noise level was a but too high
Delicious food and lovely service! I enjoyed everything, only negative I would say is there is a slight 'sticky' vibe in the interior. Could do with an update on the decor front!
Was great! Amazing service as well
Really amazing food. They had a nice table for us. Nice, friendly service whilst respecting social distancing. Loved our meal here.
Service was great but food was poor. Too overpriced and one of our dishes came burned
Amazing food for a really great price! Would recommend
Nice ambience with the outdoor seating during the pandemic. Service was friendly. Only drawback was the mains - my guest and I both ordered the salmon and it was raw in the middle. I was so deep in conversation I didn't realise until halfway through! After speaking with two servers they did reflect the mistake on the bill. Hope the kitchen manages this better as wouldn't want any other customers to experience the same issue!
Couldn't seat at a table as just ordered dessert. French toast and matcha was fabulous. Service was good.
Great bottomless brunch. Service was fantastic. Highly recommend!!
Average food and too busy. We went on Thursday night and was crowded. I don't really see social distancing despite the fact that we are still encouraged to.
The food was average compared to bone daddies ramen joints. And slightly overpriced for good Japanese food around.
Amazing food, flavourful and not bland. Didn’t disappoint!
Great waiters, and ambience. The food was good and very fresh.
Highly recommend the taster menu - lots of amazing flavours and all so fresh and hot straight out the kitchen. This was my second visit and it was genuinely tastier than the first time. I’ve told all of my friends to go and will definitely be going again! Star dish was the prawn toast - so frikkin tasty! Never had anything like it! Well done to your chefs!
A little pricey but everything is really on point and tastes incredible. Our only downside is several of our orders went missing after several different staff members asked if we were finished. Things eventually turned up and were taken off the price but it seemed a little chaotic and continued to happen after the restaurant emptied a little. That said once they knew they'd messed up they paid us special attention and I'd 100% go back
Unbelievable surface as always and food was excellent!
Amazing food and service. Have visited about four times this year and amazing every time. Have tried a lot of things on the menu, can't beat the Iberico Pork Pluma. Not been disappointed with a dish yet and the staff are really friendly.
