   Didn’t really live up to the expectations offered by the Virgin Experience. A very limited menu with expensive upgrades. Also needed to purchase sides to bulk out the main course and these were not included in the 3 course deal. Polite service, but felt quite rushed and there was no personal touch, for example, would you like any sauces and no check back to the table asking if the food was okay etc. Overall slightly disappointed, although the decorations and internal decor etc were good.

   It's a great restaurant , the atmosphere is incredible, very vibrant, lots of people, fire eaters coming by the table, all good fun, then bit later music got bit louder and funkier, superb ambience. We had bought our friends a virgin voucher for Xmas for 3 course meal and a cocktail. Sadly the food felt very heated up and a bit like glorified nandos. If they do have better food available they should keep the price higher on the voucher to keep the food standards high. Bit of a good and bad night sadly. Would still return but choose from main menu, definitely not a virgin experience voucher.

   Fantastic place, a wow factor from the entrance door to inside, a bit Indiana Jones, impressive, comfortable seating arranged in booths. Food was served quickly, great taste, I would like to go again and try some of the more unusual choices. Staff were very pleasant, a great birthday experience for me.

   Very disappointed from start to end. This place now reminds me of a whetherspoons but with music. Has changed soo much. Service was poor. We waited for so long just for a drink! Our waitress began serving guests who had arrived much later that us. Food was below average, lacked flavour or any creativity. Will not be returning. I don’t mind spending money on quality. This place lacked soo much. Save your money and don’t waste it on over priced food and drinks - this place has no ambiance. Highly disappointed

   The vibes, the menu, the drinks, the music, everything was 10/10. Would highly reccomend shaka zulu to everyone, especially when you get to experience eating a crocodile. Kangaroo and a zebra 😅

    Had the best time at Shaka Zulu. Our waiter was very attentive and the meal was very delicious and came out in a timely manner. I would definitely be coming back in the future.

    Our waitress for the evening was great, an Italian lady, but we didn't get her name. The food, however, was disappointing. Not much flavour, even the cajun spiced cod didn't taste of cajun. I think there was some spice on the skin but if you don't like eating the skin of the fish, like me, it's basically a piece of plain cod. Couldn't find the lemon sauce on the dish and the tomato sauce tasted like it had been spooned straight out of a jar. Couldn't taste any garlic in the broccoli side. Breads to begin with were a little dry and the naan bread was out of a packet as well. Desserts were good but rest of the food was just about average.

    We really enjoyed our visit. The food was nice although I suspect the veg curry and rice was microwaved. I have only given the visit 4 stars because I think it was overpriced. £6 for a half pint bottle is extortionate and the cocktails were mostly ice, there was not much alcohol in them. On the whole it was a good experience. The venue is amazeballs.

    Came for the first time, last evening prompt service, staff excellent. Cocktails were good and the crocodile was cooked beautifully, and good presented lovely.Staff helpful &polite Great atmosphere and an experience just right see the impressive decor of the place Would recommend a visit if in Camden area

    We were looked after by Charles from the beginning he dealt with us in a very exceptional manner. We are absolutely delighted with his charm and professionalism. He made our overall experience worthwhile . We are thoroughly pleased and would love to visit again for another memorable experience

    Absolutely divine evening. It was my boyfriends birthday and being South African, this was perfect. The service was impeccable and the food was heavenly. I mentioned it was his birthday and within minutes a slate with amarula shots and ‘happy birthday’ written in white chocolate with a candle appeared. Very touching.

    Great service - extremely friendly and helpful staff members. Went out of their way to make the experience extra enjoyable. Very nice venue with fantastic decor - the ambience was really enjoyable. Great tasting food, generous portion sizes.

    It was amazing. From start to finish. I thoroughly enjoyed my anniversary with my partner. The staff were lovely and accommodated all our needs and answered all our questions. Shaka Zulu never misses! Always deliveres ❤️

    I was disappointed in the cleanliness of the restaurant. The toilets were not clean and floors sticky. When I went to wash my hands there was no soap only hand sanitising gel. It looked like the place hadn’t been cleaned in a while and not just the toilets. Given we are still dealing with Covid this can be improved. The service was good as was the food, however we were only given the larger menu and I had to ask for the burger menu. Being South African I was disappointed not to see many SA beers on the menu, where was the Lion and Castle lager. Personally I feel that this place is overpriced, £30 for boerewors!! I was pretty disappointed when I left, and will not be returning.

    Restaurant was lovely with the decor and tables spaced out well. A lot of thought has gone into it. We were not impressed with the food, had booked and paid for a 3 course meal and then was told the main course did not come with anything only meat, so had to pay £6 extra each for potatoes which were not nice and appeared to be frozen ones as hard in the middle. Very disappointing. I would not rush back which is a shame as place nice but food nothing special.

    Vast place and the decor was quite something. Quiet when we were there on a Thursday evening so lacking a bit of atmosphere. Food was very mediocre and quite frankly overpriced. Cocktails were good along with the service. Wouldn't go back to eat but would return just for drinks as it's a nice environment.

    I came to Shaka Zulu yesterday with my partner to celebrate our anniversary. We made an appointment for the evening and when we arrive we were seated immediately in a nice comfortable seating area and offered to place a drinks order straight away . The food service was very rapid and we were looked after by Charles and Red who made sure we were okay throughout every step of our dining experience . We were offered complimentary shots to celebrate our anniversary towards the end of the night . I was in love with the scenery and the atmosphere of the place the music was very fitting and the food and cocktails we had tasted amazing we were overly satisfied with the over all experience

    Shaka Zulu have certainly spent a lot of money on making the restaurant look the part however, the food did not reflect how good it looks! Unfortunately from our starters to desert the food was awful! The fast pace in which the food came out couldn’t of possibly been made fresh and the taste of the dry, bland, clearly reheated food left us both with an upset stomach straight after our meal!! Unfortunately I couldn’t recommend this restaurant less to eat but if you fancy a drink somewhere that looks good then Shaka zulus your place!

    Great place to eat, atmosphere was fantastic and the service was so good. The food was great too but my broccoli was a wee bit hard, love al dente cooked vegetables but this needed a couple of minutes cooking time. Other than that its a five star!

    Lovely place, great decor, tasty food and good service. Music was also at a good level so we were able to talk. We bought a voucher with virgin experiences which included a free cocktail so it was a very reasonable 3 course meal. Would highly recommend.

    The decor is incredible and the service was very good, more than happy to take a few pics. The only little error was our started came out with the main but they did take this off the bill overall a great experience.

    As I am SouthAfrican, I love being in the atmosphere of Shaka Zulu. The staff are friendly and the pace is very gentle so you don’t feel rushed. The Springbok drink’ a icon to us Saffas was perfectly done! My one sml glitch? What happened to the menu? No ostrich? No springbok ? There was for me a lack of SouthAfrican dishes were prior to covid lockdown the menu was amazing. Food please let me tell you is still outstanding! My husband who’s from island was blown away! So I do recommend it!

    The food is definitely much over priced. You could get a decent steak from mid-up range restaurants in london, same price paid here, the quality feels like a steak from supermarket.
